Purpose of
Worship His Majesty
The purpose of
Worship His Majesty is to bring the
Lord's people from different backgrounds,
churches and nations to worship Him in
spirit, in truth, and as one. It is a
call for Christians from all nations to
worship King Jesus.
Issues of race and class
divide our world and have crept into the
body of Christ. They prevent Christians
from effectively reaching out to the
world as a unified vessel of Christ's
love. The word of the Lord says in Psalm
133, "O how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in
unity." This makes it evident that our
Father longs to see us come together as
one.
To fulfill divine desire,
Lilies International Christian Outreach
(LICO) organizes "Worship His
Majesty!" This intercessory
worship service is presently held
annually in New York
City, a microcosm of the world. Our
vision is to unite the body of Christ,
lifting our voices unto God to intercede
for ourselves, the church of God, and
the nations as we worship. The Lord
promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
"If my
people which are called by my name shall
humble themselves and pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven and forgive
their sins and heal their land"
We are constantly
enrolling worshippers who will commit to
pray for the kingdom and worship His
Majesty King Jesus in spirit and in
truth. Worship leaders who share this
vision and have a revelation of
intercessory worship are appointed as
the Holy Spirit leads us.
Funding for Worship
His Majesty is by divine provision, in
ways that He designs and makes available
to us. The
complimentary tickets (issued to
brethren and ministries as needed) are
designed to make this event accessible
to all Christians who wish to attend.
WHM is not a gospel concert organized to
entertain. Rather, it is a call for
Christians to come together to give God
pleasure in worship and intercession for
His world.
