Scripture Reading: 1
Samuel 2:21
“And the Lord visited
Hannah, so that she conceived,
and bare three sons and two
daughters. And the child Samuel
grew before the Lord.”
Barrenness to Fruitfulness
Father God, we thank you because
you are our strength, our life,
and our hope. Living God, I
thank you for your Word because
it is settled; it has ceased to
move around. It has not changed,
is not changing, and will not
change.
In the name of Jesus, I pray for
those who are barren today.
Lord, there are many whose
marriages are barren, not
because they do not have
children, but because there is
no communion, no fellowship, no
joy, no empathy, no love, and no
agape in the marriage. I pray
for the rain of agape and
fruitfulness in marriages, both
spiritually and physically.
There are many whose businesses
are barren; they have not made a
profit in a long time. Living
God, I pray that you will take
them from barrenness to
fruitfulness. In every area
where there is
barrenness—spiritually,
physically, emotionally—take us
to fruitfulness in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, in 1 Samuel 1, we are
introduced to a woman named
Hannah. Her story is good, but
it has a bad side too. She was
the beloved wife of a very
wealthy man. He loved her so
much that he gave her double
portions, but she did not have a
child and her husband’s wife
provoked her upon her
barrenness. “And her adversary
also provoked her sore, for to
make her fret, because the Lord
shut up her womb. And as He did
so year after year, when she
went up to the house of the
Lord, so she provoked her;
therefore she wept, and did not
eat” 1 Sam 1:6–7).
Is your adversary provoking you
because there is barrenness in
your family, business,
relationships, health, or
spirit? Thank God for the
provocation, because provocation
caused Hannah to fret and when
she began to fret, she started
acting according to the plan of
God. “And it came to pass, as
she continued praying before the
Lord, that Eli marked her mouth.
Now Hannah, she spoke in her
heart; only her lips moved, but
her voice was not heard:
therefore Eli thought she had
been drunken. And Eli said unto
her, How long will thou be
drunk? Put away thy wine from
thee. And Hannah answered and
said, No, my lord, I am a woman
of sorrowful spirit: I have
drunk neither wine nor strong
drink, but have poured out my
soul before the Lord. Count not
thine handmaid for a daughter of
Beliah: for out of the abundance
of my complaint and grief have I
spoken hitherto. Then Eli
answered and said, Go in peace:
and the God of Israel grant thee
thy petition that thou hast
asked of Him” (1 Sam 1:12–17).
Is there a barren situation in
your life? I pray that the Lord
will give you the grace to pour
out your heart like Hannah, and
let the God of Israel grant your
petition. We know the story;
Hannah gave birth to Samuel. May
your Samuel come forth in the
name of Jesus. But Hannah not
only gave birth to Samuel, she
bore three sons and two
daughters. So a woman, who in
chapter 1 did not have any
children, had the grace to cry
out to the Lord from her heart,
and by chapter 2 was a mother of
five. I pray that the God of
Israel in His mercy will pour
out His faithfulness to you in
every situation of barrenness in
your life.
Holy Father, we ask that you
will give us the grace of
commitment to you. Father God,
upgrade your people from
involvement to commitment. Maybe
you are just involved
with God when it is time for
commitment. Come to the Lord
God Almighty through Jesus
Christ, His son, commit to Him
and He will not fail you. Serve
Him and He will settle you.
Serve Him and He will cause you
to go from barrenness to
fruitfulness.
Beloved, the Lord is going to
and fro over the earth looking
for a heart that is perfect
toward Him, so that He will show
Himself strong on your behalf.
When the Lord comes to your
city, your street, your building
may He find your heart perfect
towards Him. May He pour into
your life the fruitfulness that
is in Him. God is the source of
all things. He is the greatest
producer, the greatest creator.
He creates by His spoken word. I
pray that the living God will
speak fruitfulness into your
life. I pray that every man,
every woman, and every child
will experience an upgrading
change; that they go from
barrenness to fruitfulness in
the mighty and powerful name of
Jesus.
Prayer Points:
Father, hear the cry of your
people; bless your people
indeed. Oh Lord, for unto thee
do we lift up our soul. God
Almighty, we trust in you; let
us not be ashamed, let not our
enemies triumph over us. Deliver
us from the fear of man. Lord
God Almighty, let all who put
their trust in you be delivered
from barrenness. Living God,
preserve those who are appointed
to die and who are reading these
words. There are some who are
being killed from barrenness.
Lord, I pray today that you pour
life into the spirit of each
one. Oh Father God Almighty,
there is none as holy as you,
none beside thee, neither is
there any rock like our God.
Father, manifest your power, be
magnified in the life of your
children. Take us, Oh Lord, from
barrenness to fruitfulness.
Lord, unto you do we lift up our
soul in the name of Jesus.
“Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes; cease to
do evil.”
Be Pure
I know that our Redeemer lives.
Are you sure in your spirit man
that your Redeemer lives?
Because He lives, you can face
today and tomorrow, since He has
carried you through yesterday to
today. I pray in the name of
Jesus that you will make
yourself ready for a visitation
from God into your
circumstances, into your home,
into your marriage, into your
ministry, and into your
environment. I pray that you
will make yourself pure, so that
you will be ready for a visit
from the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Wash me thoroughly from my
iniquity, and cleanse me from my
sin” (Ps 51:2).
“Purge out therefore the old
leaven, that ye may be a new
lump . . . ” (1 Cor 5:7).
“ . . . but ye are washed, but
ye are sanctified, but ye are
justified in the name of the
Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of
our God” (1 Cor 6:11).
“ . . . Cleanse your hands, ye
sinners; and purify your hearts,
ye double-minded” (Jas 4:8).
“ . . . and the blood of Jesus
Christ his Son cleanseth us from
all sin” (1 John 1:7).
“ . . . these are they which
came out of great tribulation
and have washed their robes and
made them white in the blood of
the lamb” (Rev. 7:14).
Beloved, are you washed in the
blood of the lamb? The Lord is
calling each of us to purify our
heart, our environment, our
soul, and our spirit. When God
calls for cleansing, it is
because He is about to visit.
God is telling you, “I know that
your environment is clean, but
it could be cleaner. Make
yourself ready for my arrival.
Make yourself ready for me to
come into your circumstance.”
Beloved, do you understand the
value of cleanliness, the value
of purity? When an environment
is in order, the spirit is calm.
Put your papers in order, make
your bed, clean your
environment, and then pray. God
is going to do something
awesome. He says to purge out
the old leaven that you may be a
new lump.
There are three levels of
cleansing—the environment and
body, the soul and emotions, and
the spirit. You need to clean
out anything that has caused you
not to receive from God. I pray
that you press the delete button
on the load of pain that you are
carrying. Let it go out of you
now. Release all of your grudges
and give them to Jesus. Release
the person who hurt you so much
that you think you can never
forgive. I pray that today God
will give you the grace to clean
up your soul and your emotions.
All those things that weigh on
you kill your joy. Release your
children to the Lord who sent
them to you. Stop worrying about
your spouse and your children.
Release them to Jesus.
Cleanse and allow the Lord visit
you. Clean out your outer man
and your body, care for your
health and your environment,
mind your soul and your
thoughts, and handle your
emotions. When you do this, your
spirit man will be clean.
Everything that has been
oppressing it, externally and
internally, will be cleansed and
you will be ready to hear from
God. When you do a cleansing
externally and internally great
things happen.
“Unto the pure all things are
pure . . . ” (Titus 1:15).
“Blessed are the pure in heart
for they shall see God” (Matt
5:8).
“ . . . whatsoever things are
pure . . . think on these
things” (Phil 4:8).
“ . . . keep thyself pure” (1
Tim 5:22).
“If a man therefore purge
himself from these, he shall be
a vessel of honor, sanctified,
and meet for the master’s use
and prepared unto every good
work” (2 Tim 2:21).
“And every man that hath this
hope in him purifieth himself,
even as he is pure” (1 John
3:3).
I pray that purity will be your
portion, and that the blessings
of purity will manifest in your
life in the name of Jesus. When
the Lord wanted to visit the
children of Israel, He told
Moses to tell them to clean up
the camp. Clean up your
environment, your soul, and your
spirit man. Purify the air
around you—that foul music, that
tense music, that bad news
transmission. Open the gates of
your heart by purifying, so that
the King of glory will come in.
Prayer Points:
Only the Holy Spirit has the
ability to make us pure and He
cannot come to you unless you
have given your life to Jesus.
Pray with me today and say,
“Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you
as my personal Lord and Savior.
Write my name in the Book of
Life and fill me with your Holy
Spirit. Bless me with the grace
of purity that I will be among
the pure to whom all is pure so
that I will see God. Bless me,
Oh Lord, that I will be among
those who have purged themselves
and made themselves pure so that
I will be ready for an honorable
use to God.”
God is your Redeemer and He
is alive! It does not matter
what you have gone through or
what you are going through now,
Jesus is your Redeemer and He
wants to visit you. Be pure in
every thought and deed, so that
all things will be pure to you.
Be pure, so that God will use
you as a vessel of honor in
Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that
you will cause your children to
value and appreciate the need
for purity in their environment,
their thoughts, their speech,
and in what they hear, so that
they will see you, in Jesus’
name. Amen.

Scripture reading: Genesis
45:1–13
“And
Joseph said unto his brethren,
Come near to me, I pray you. And
they came near. And he said, I
am Joseph your brother, whom ye
sold into Egypt. Now therefore
be not grieved, nor angry with
yourselves, that ye sold me
hither: for God did send me
before you to preserve life”
(Gen 45:4–5).
Family Trials to Triumph
Father God, we pray today for
the grace of more love, more
power, and more of you in our
lives. Lord, apart from you we
can do nothing. Father, help us
to factor you into everywhere we
go, everything we say, and
everything we do so that you are
the center of our joy and of our
lives. Today give us the grace
to gain insight from your Word
that helps us to factor you into
our relationships.
In Genesis 45:1–13 we are told:
“Then Joseph could not refrain
himself before all them that
stood by him; and he cried,
Cause every man to go out from
me. And there stood no man with
him, while Joseph made himself
known unto his brethren. And he
wept aloud: and the Egyptians
and the house of Pharaoh heard.
And Joseph said unto his
brethren, I am Joseph; doth my
father yet live? And his
brethren could not answer him;
for they were troubled at his
presence. And Joseph said unto
his brethren, Come near to me, I
pray you. And they came near.
And he said, I am Joseph your
brother, whom ye sold into
Egypt. Now therefore be not
grieved, nor angry with
yourselves, that ye sold me
hither: for God did send me
before you to preserve life. For
these two years hath famine been
in the land: and yet there are
five years in the which there
shall neither be earing nor
harvest. And God sent me before
you to preserve you a posterity
in the earth, and to save your
lives by a great deliverance. So
now it was not you that sent me
hither, but God: and he hath
made me a father to Pharaoh, and
lord of all his house, and a
ruler throughout all the land of
Egypt. Haste ye, and go up to my
father, and say unto him, Thus
saith thy son Joseph, God hath
made me lord of all Egypt: come
down unto me, tarry not: And
thou shalt dwell in the land of
Goshen, and thou shalt be near
unto me, thou, and thy children,
and thy children’s children, and
thy flocks, and thy herds, and
all that thou hast: And there
will I nourish thee; for yet
there are five years of famine;
lest thou, and thy household,
and all that thou hast, come to
poverty. And, behold, your eyes
see, and the eyes of my brother
Benjamin, that it is my mouth
that speaketh unto you. And ye
shall tell my father of all my
glory in Egypt, and of all that
ye have seen; and ye shall haste
and bring down my father
hither.”
In reality, today we find
relationships, particularly
family relationships, sometimes
trying and sometimes triumphant,
sometimes testing and sometimes
thrilling. Of all the
relationships we have, our
family is what God chose for us.
We can choose our friends but
not our family. If we look at
the family God chose for Joseph,
we wonder how his brothers could
have sold him out of jealousy,
resentment, rivalry, and anger.
But God knew that Joseph needed
a family that would betray him.
Joseph needed siblings who would
be jealous enough to sell him
into his destiny. Joseph had
that insight; he saw God in the
situation. He respected that God
chose this family for him and
said, “God did send me” (Gen
45:5). God chose his father,
mother, and brothers, and every
trial that came in that
relationship always came with
the cover of God.
Even when we make wrong choices
in marriage, God covers us. I
always say if you are in the
presence of God, there is
nothing that any member of your
family can do to you negatively
that can affect you permanently.
Joseph’s brothers sold him into
slavery, in fact, they planned
to kill him but one of them was
a merciful wicked man and
suggested selling him. As a
slave Joseph faced tough trials.
He could be sitting there
thinking, “I who had all the
love for my father and all these
prospects, am now languishing in
jail because my brothers sold me
into slavery. I was sent to a
heathen house where the master’s
wife eyed me and I refused to
compromise. Now she’s lied and
I’m in jail.” He could be
crying, “Lord why me?” But
Joseph was wise. That betrayal
was a stepping stone to his
destiny. He went from being a
prisoner to a prime minister.
Through these trials, Joseph
understood that God matured him.
Joseph was thrown out of his
comfort zone, tested in a
foreign land, and dumped in
prison. But the Spirit of God
was with him. He was able to
decode a dream, find favor with
Pharaoh, and be put in charge of
Pharaoh’s lands.
Beloved, are you going through a
challenge now? Let it become a
testimony, because God is
involved. I encourage you today
to stay in the presence of God
in your circumstance and God
will cause it to work together
for your good. As God turned
Joseph’s family trial to triumph
in making him lord of Egypt, He
will also turn your family trial
to triumph.
Prayer
Points:
But God cannot work for you
in the way He loves you, except
you give your life to Him. I
pray today that you will
surrender your life to Jesus. If
you are not born again, pray
with me now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I
surrender my life to you. Write
my name in the Book of Life.
Bless me with the privilege of
being your child and working for
you in Jesus’ name. Amen.” And
if you are already born again
and challenges have distracted
you, get back into the presence
of God so that He can turn
today’s trials into tomorrow’s
triumphs.
Scripture Reading: 2 Kings
3:14–16
“And
he said, Thus saith the Lord,
Make this valley full of
ditches. For thus saith the
Lord, Ye shall not see wind,
neither shall ye see rain; yet
that valley shall be filled with
water, that ye may drink, both
ye, and your cattle, and your
beasts” (2 Kgs 3:16).
Fill the Valley
Blessed be God, who is able to
do all things, including
miracles. A miracle is when the
natural order is suspended and a
supernatural order is
superimposed in a situation.
Indeed, when you need a miracle,
you want God to suspend the
natural order and do something
new in your life. He can and
will do it for you if you are in
a relationship of romance with
Him. God desires to work
miracles for those who are in
relationship with Him. However,
many people are in religion not
relationship. I pray that God
will upgrade you from religion
to relationship to romance. Give
your situation to the Lord God
Almighty through Jesus Christ
our Savior when you need a
miracle—the natural to be
suspended for the
supernatural—for what you desire
to become a reality.
“And Elisha said, As the Lord of
hosts liveth, before whom I
stand, surely, were it not that
I regard the presence of
Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I
would not look toward thee nor
see thee. But now, bring me a
minstrel. And it came to pass
when the minstrel played, that
the hand of the Lord came upon
him” (2 Kgs 3:14–15.)
A minstrel is a musical
ministration. That is why
worship is so essential to that
one who is in a romantic
relationship with the Lord. This
type of worship is different
than intercessory worship or
“soulish” intercession, where
using your emotions you are
carrying on and talking. If
someone requests something from
you and says, “Can I have ABC”
you answer, “Yes, I will” or
“No, I won’t.” The circumstances
are entirely different when
someone walks into your presence
with a song and communicates a
request with worship. First of
all, you are calm, and you
appreciate the melody. Then you
begin to reach out and your hand
will touch in the same way it
works with God. When the
minstrel played, the hand of the
Lord came upon him. You want the
presence of God? Worship brings
the presence of God. You want a
miracle? You cannot experience a
miracle without God being
present. Only God can work a
miracle, because He is the
manufacturer who made the
natural and He knows how to
suspend and superimpose the
supernatural. And He can only do
that if He is present. You want
God to be present? You must be
in a romantic relationship with
Him. You must purify yourself so
that you can get close to Him.
When you are close to Him, you
must understand His protocol.
Worship Him. Worship is prayer.
When you are close to someone it
is easy to ask for a miracle and
to expect one.
The man of God asked for a
minstrel and then the hand of
God came upon him. And he said
that the ditches of the valley
would be filled with water to
drink. It normally takes rain to
have water in a ditch or in a
valley but when God wants to
work a miracle, He does what He
wants to do without the natural
process. He filled the valley
with water without the wind and
rain. Where did that water come
from? Do you know where the
water in rain comes from? We
have scientific explanations but
we really do not know where it
originates. But the originator
knows how to fill a valley with
water without rain or wind. Are
you in a valley today? Do you
have a valley that needs to be
filled today? You need to get to
good ground if you want your
valley to be filled with streams
of water. How can this be? How
will God do it? He will do it by
working a miracle. He will work
a miracle by suspending the
natural order. Because He is the
creator of the universe, He
knows the details of your life.
He knows how to fill the valley
of your life with water. He
knows how to work a specific
miracle for you. The miracle I
need is different from the
miracle you need. He knows the
valleys that are present in your
life. He knows what to touch to
cause the valleys to be filled
with water, so that they will
become streams of water.
Prayer
Points:
I pray in the name of Jesus
that all who desire a miracle
will resolve to relate to God
out of a pure conscience. Purify
yourself; get into a romance
with God. Worship Him; let His
hand come upon you and let your
valley be filled with water. Oh
Father, except you draw, we
cannot come, so I pray that you
draw us today. Bless us with the
grace of relating to you and
expecting a miracle from you,
because you are a God of
miracles. You know the burden
that each one is carrying.
Father, I ask that you bring
about a miracle. Let there be
rest, for in rest comes a higher
level of worship and praise.
Father, give us the grace to pay
the price to get into that
romantic relationship with you.
Amen.

Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy
2:3–8
“I exhort therefore, that,
first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be made for
all men; For kings, and for all
that are in authority; that we
may lead a quiet and peaceable
life in all godliness and
honesty” (1 Tim 2:1–2).
First of All, Pray
Father God, we thank you for the
privilege of life in Christ
Jesus. We thank you for the
redemption plan that was
implemented. We thank you for
the atonement at Calvary. We
thank you because our Lord paid
in full and was able to tell the
devil, “It is finished.” Oh
Father, I thank you because you
love your own to the end.
Father, I pray today that in
your mercy and in your love you
will teach us how to walk in
liberty, to work in light so
that darkness will have no room
in our lives. Father, let your
Word come through to your
people, that in all things your
name alone will be magnified and
glorified in Jesus’ name.
“For this is good and acceptable
in the sight of God our Saviour;
who will have all men to be
saved, and to come unto the
knowledge of the truth. For
there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus; who gave
himself a ransom for all, to be
testified in due time. Whereunto
I am ordained a preacher, and an
apostle (I speak the truth in
Christ, and lie not;) a teacher
of the Gentiles in faith and
verity. I will therefore that
men pray every where, lifting up
holy hands, without wrath and
doubting” (1 Tim 2:3–8).
Beloved, God is calling us to
prayer. He is calling us to make
supplications, to intercede, to
give thanks for all men, and
particularly for kings and all
who are in authority. Why do we
need to pray for leadership?
Leaders affect other people. It
is important for you as a
Christian to lift them up in
prayer no matter their political
parties and no matter your
personal opinions of them. So
today, lift up the governor of
your land, the mayor of your
city, the president or king of
your nation. Pray for them, that
they will work in the ways of
God; that God will direct their
actions; that God will cause
them to do the things that He
wants done because the earth and
the fullness thereof is the
Lord’s. They are just
under-shepherds and we as
children of God are meant to
under-guard our leaders.
If you are in an office, today I
want you to pray for your CEO,
your managers, and your
supervisors. Pray for all who
are in leadership. The bottom
line is that their decisions and
their actions affect you. If
they decide to go to war, they
will not go to war; they will
send your children to war. If
they decide to do something
positive, such as making sure
that every child goes to school,
your children will be benefit.
If they decide that older people
should be respected and they
adopt a program that will bless
the elders, elders in society
will benefit.
Paul says, “First of all, above
all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of
thanks, be made for all men” (1
Tim 2:1). Do you need to talk to
God about something in your
community, society, country,
town, or local government? Begin
to make supplication now and ask
that God’s Kingdom will come in
your land. Lift up the names of
your leaders, including your
pastors. Pastors are leaders in
the church and what they say
affects Christians in the land.
God is calling you to pray for
your leaders today. Give thanks
for them, intercede for them,
and then pray for all men.
Prayer
Points:
Father, today we globally
lift up your people before you.
We pray that your Kingdom will
come on earth, Lord. We pray
that in your mercy all hatred
and strife will cease. Father,
every seed of misunderstanding
and disconnection that the enemy
has sowed in societies,
communities, families, churches,
and offices, I pray today that
it be brought down in the name
of Jesus. Father, destroy
everything that the enemy has
used to pollute our land, such
as mistrust, racism, and all the
things that the enemy has
planted in our society to cause
confusion, discord, pain, and
war. We pray today that let
there be peace in the land.
Lord, your children are calling
on you today. Father God
Almighty, in your mercy, send
provision to your children who
are in areas of famine and war.
We remember the children in
Gabon today. We pray Lord God
Almighty that you will cause the
leadership in the land to get
back their minds and cause their
people to live in a peaceable
land. We bring before you the
children in Iraq and pray that
you will bring peace in that
land. We pray, Lord God, for all
the children around the globe.
Father, let there be peace in
their time. Father God Almighty,
in your mercy, command the enemy
to let your children, your
people, go in the name of Jesus.
Father God, we thank you that
you prepare people and ask that
you set up people who have been
prepared for leadership in our
land. Oh Lord, let there be a
new dawn of sensitive and
responsible leadership in Jesus’
name. Amen.

Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy
6:11–12
“But thou, O man of God, flee
these things; and follow after
righteousness, godliness, faith,
love, patience, meekness. Fight
the good fight of faith, lay
hold on eternal life, whereunto
thou art also called, and hast
professed a good profession
before many witnesses.”
Follow After
Father, we thank you because no
one else can touch our lives and
care for us like you. Lord, you
are the one who is able to make
a way where there seems to be no
way. Father, in your mercy,
teach us the way we ought to
operate in this life, so that we
will have good success, in
Jesus’ name.
If you are a child of God, there
are certain things God wants you
to do. First, God desires that
you follow after is
righteousness; do the right
things toward your fellow man.
Many of us are so right with
God, but so wrong with men. The
Bible says to follow after
righteousness first and then
godliness. Why didn’t He put
godliness first? Because how you
relate to man will determine how
well you relate to God. If you
do good, think no evil, and give
your fellow man his due, which
is righteousness, and then turn
to God in godliness, there will
be perfect flow. God’s Word says
to follow after righteousness
and then godliness. Godliness
means doing things because of
God—going to church to worship
Him, to hear from Him, and to
honor His Word—not for a social
status.
After running the track of
righteousness and godliness, we
are called to faith. God
encourages us to follow after
Him. Many of us do not have a
relationship with God, but we
are practicing faith. It does
not work that way. You must be
godly for your faith to grow and
to work. You must be righteous
for God to relate to you. The
prayers of the unrighteous are
like an abomination to God.
After faith, God says to follow
love. When you follow after
love, you operate in this life
through the windows of love and
do everything for love’s sake.
If you correct, encourage, or
praise someone, do it in love.
Let love be your operating
system in life.
Oh man of God, follow after
righteousness, godliness, faith,
love, and then patience. Many of
us are impatient, because we
live in an impatient generation.
We live in an era of fast food
and instant emails; everything
is done in a second. But the
child of God will cultivate the
act of patience even in this
environment, because through
patience you will inherit the
promises. Through patience,
God’s purpose for you will be
revealed. If you are impatient,
you will fall into premature
traps and experiences that will
cause you to fall before the
time of your blessings.
Finally, meekness is necessary,
because there is no one with a
combination of righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, and
patience who will not be a great
man. Now when you become great,
you will find out that there are
great temptations. People will
pour out accolades on you, tell
you how great you are. You will
begin to think that you are God.
Meekness is having great power
but having control of that
power. Do not let the promotion,
provision, or prosperity that
God has given you make you so
drunk that you cannot touch
base. Moses had power but he was
the meekest above all men. May
God make this your reality in
Jesus’ name.
God’s Word also tells us to
fight the good fight of faith.
If you believe in Jesus, then
operate like someone who
believes in Jesus. Do not be a
submarine Christian—one who is a
Christian only on Sunday and
then disappears from Monday to
Saturday. If Jesus is your Lord,
let Him be your Lord every day,
every week, every month, every
year, every second, and every
minute. Faith is the substance
of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen.
Prayer
Points:
I pray that God will upgrade
you to one who fights the good
fight of faith, to one who will
lay hold of eternal life, to one
who will understand that we are
in transit on planet earth. We
are waiting for our flight to
our permanent destination. If we
look at our time on earth as a
time when we are in transit, we
will say to ourselves, let me do
the things that I came here to
do, so that I can go to my
permanent address, which is
heaven, and you will lay hold on
eternal life. Oh Father, help us
to live this Christian life.
Deliver us from the pitfalls of
our generation.
Beloved, living a Christian
life is the only possible way to
lay hold of eternal life. So if
you are not born again pray
along with me now and say, “Dear
Lord Jesus, I surrender my life
to you. Write my name in the
Book of Life; give me the grace
to follow after righteousness,
godliness, faith, love,
patience, and meekness, that
that I am equipped to fight the
good fight of faith. Amen.”
Scripture Reading: Mark 1:1–11
“And
it came to pass in those days,
that Jesus came from Nazareth of
Galilee, and was baptized of
John in Jordan. And straightway
coming up out of the water, he
saw the heavens opened, and the
Spirit like a dove descending
upon him: And there came a voice
from heaven, saying, Thou art my
beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased” (Mark 1:9–11).
Open Heaven
Father God, we thank you for the
privilege of worshiping the
great I AM. We thank you,
because you are full of grace
and truth. We pray that the
spirit of grace and truth will
fill us this day, that every
nature of lie—the sin nature of
Adam—will depart from us and
make way for the Spirit of God.
We know that wherever the Lord
Jesus resides, there the star
stands as a sign that He is in
residence. We pray that that
star will stand upon our homes,
our lives, and our ministries.
We pray that we will worship the
great I AM, and will proclaim
that Jesus Christ indeed has
been born and we are born again
in Him. Because He is in us, we
have come out of darkness and
the light of God is shining in
us; darkness cannot comprehend
us.
“The beginning of the gospel of
Jesus Christ, the Son of God; As
it is written in the prophets,
Behold, I send my messenger
before thy face, which shall
prepare thy way before thee. The
voice of one crying in the
wilderness, Prepare ye the way
of the Lord, make his paths
straight. John did baptize in
the wilderness, and preach the
baptism of repentance for the
remission of sins. And there
went out unto him all the land
of Judea, and they of Jerusalem,
and were all baptized of him in
the river of Jordan, confessing
their sins. And John was clothed
with camel’s hair, and with a
girdle of a skin about his
loins; and he did eat locusts
and wild honey; And preached,
saying, There cometh one
mightier than I after me, the
latchet of whose shoes I am not
worthy to stoop down and
unloose. I indeed have baptized
you with water: but he shall
baptize you with the Holy Ghost”
(Mark 1:1–8).
At the end of this passage,
noted in the Scripture
Reading, we see where God
confirmed and ordained Jesus as
the Son of God. Beloved, beyond
the star and the light of the
spotlight as a Christian, there
is a challenge. You must ask
yourself if the Spirit of God
has descended upon you? Ask if
the heavens are open upon you?
Ask if the voice of God has
spoken to you and confirmed to
you that you are His child and
He is well pleased with you? It
is not enough to claim that we
are Christians; first and
foremost, the light of God must
dwell in us. That light must
shine in a manner that darkness
can never comprehend. On top of
that, we must understand that
when we have been called out of
darkness, we now have to operate
as royalty. We begin to live
life in the spotlight of the
light of God, that light that
stood above the residence of
Jesus even as a baby, that light
that still shines through
believers today. You will also
be filled with the experience of
the Holy Spirit descending upon
you, heavens opening for you,
and the voice of God speaking
and confirming that you are
indeed a child of His. I pray
that today these experiences
will be a reality in your life.
Beloved, God gave Jesus to us as
the greatest gift ever. I invite
you to a party that is always
happening, the party that is the
experience of the Holy
Spirit—the heavens opening
above, the Spirit of God
descending upon you, the voice
of God speaking to you
confirming and affirming that
you are indeed a child of God.
Beloved, may the light of God
shine upon your life today. May
the Spirit of God descend from
your open heavens and take
permanent residence in you, and
may the voice of God be heard
affirming and confirming, within
and without, that you are a
child of God.
Prayer
Points:
Father, let the spirit of
grace and truth be our reality.
Lord, I nullify every accusation
of lies in our lives. Let lies
go! I pray, Lord God Almighty,
that every residency of a lying
spirit depart now and make way
for the Spirit of truth in the
name of Jesus. Oh Lord, let
today unfold with all that you
purposed for us. Today, let us
operate as kings and priests
unto God. As we come out of the
darkness, as we live life in the
spotlight, and as we are
ordained by open heavens, let
the Holy Spirit and the voice of
God confirm us as children of
God in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Scripture Reading: Hebrew 4:9–11
“There remaineth therefore a
rest to the people of God. For
he that is entered into his
rest, he also hath ceased from
his own works, as God did from
his. Let us labour therefore to
enter into that rest, lest any
man fall after the same example
of unbelief.”
Enter the Rest of God
I pray that God will give us
rest in our souls, peace in our
spirit man, and grace to enter
into His rest.
Beloved, are you still restless?
Is your soul still in
discontent? I pray that God will
give you the grace to find
healing for your soul, through
His Word, from pure worship, and
by praying the Scriptures. God
will give you the grace to move
on, to enter into his rest.
In the book of Ruth, we see a
young woman who was challenged
by life. Ruth married into
another culture. Unfortunately,
much tragedy struck and
eventually her mother-in-law
offered her the freedom to find
rest in the world. Naomi
released her to go on and find
her destiny in the world away
from the Word of God and from
God’s people, but Ruth
manifested commitment.
Today, we are going to talk
about the real way to enter into
the rest of God. I use the
example of Ruth because she
entered into that rest and
gained productivity eternally.
Ruth was in a difficult
situation before she entered
into that rest. She was a widow.
She was not amongst her people.
She was seeking her destiny, and
her mother-in-law gave her an
offer that was difficult to turn
down. But Ruth had a spirit of
commitment in her. In chapter 1,
she gives an eloquent rendition
of commitment and covenant:
“Entreat me not to leave you.”
In other words, she wanted to
stay with Naomi until she died.
If you want to enter into the
rest of God, you, like Ruth,
must show commitment to God. You
must totally surrender your life
to Jesus, then show Him
commitment.
In chapter 2, Ruth had moved
from being committed to Naomi to
a point of self-motivated extra
service. Naomi offered Ruth a
chance to go into the unknown to
bring back food for Naomi. Ruth
could have said, “I’m new in
this town. I don’t know where we
are going to get food. Naomi,
I’ve done enough for you; I’ve
committed my life to you.” But
she did not; she continued to
serve Naomi. Then in Ruth 3,
Naomi becomes restless in her
own spirit because she wants to
find rest for Ruth. To get into
the rest of God, you must show
commitment like Ruth. Then you
must manifest extra service for
God because your whole life
belongs to Him. Naomi, with
commitment and extra service,
committed herself to getting
Ruth settled.
When you give God commitment and
extra service, God will commit
to giving you rest. Naomi
revealed to Ruth how Ruth could
marry Boaz, after she manifested
commitment. After she manifested
extra service, Boaz married
Ruth. Later, she gave birth to
Obed. Commitment and extra
service will cause God to take
you into that rest and then rest
brings eternal fruitfulness.
Ruth gave birth to Obed; Obed
gave birth to Jesse, David’s
father. David is in the lineage
of our Lord Jesus Christ. So
Ruth became eternally fruitful.
Prayer
Points:
Will you commit your life to
Jesus today? If you have never
given your life to Jesus, pray
with me and say, “Dear Lord
Jesus, I surrender my life to
you. I accept you as my personal
Lord and Savior. Write my name
in the Book of Life.” If you
have already given your life to
Jesus, but you need rest for
your soul or you need a solution
to a pending problem, then
rededicate yourself to God with
a clear commitment. Find extra
service to do for Him that will
be motivated by you, then God in
His faithfulness will bless you.
He will bring you into a process
that will move you into that
rest; your restlessness will
cease.
Father God Almighty, we thank
you because there is nothing you
cannot do. Father, take us into
that rest and make us eternally
fruitful, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading:
Lamentations 5:19–21
“Thou, O Lord, remainest
forever; thy throne from
generation to generation.
Wherefore dost thou forget us
forever, and forsake us so long
time? Turn thou us unto thee, O
Lord, and we shall be turned;
renew our days as of old.”
Turn Us Oh Lord
Father God, we thank you because
you are a great, great, great
God. You are always on our side.
Lord, you have made it clear
that we need to be turned. Today
we ask that you turn us to you.
Turn us from our wicked ways, so
that we will not die.
“For I have no pleasure in the
death of him that dieth, saith
the Lord God: wherefore turn
yourselves, and live ye” (Ezek
18:32).
“As I live, saith the Lord God,
I have no pleasure in the death
of the wicked; but that the
wicked turn from his way and
live: turn ye, turn ye from your
evil ways; for why will ye die,
O house of Israel?” (Ezek
33:11).
Lord, we thank you because you
are a loving God. You show us
your desire, and you show us how
to accomplish your desire. Lord,
we desire to turn, but we need
your help.
You can do all things. Your
throne, your power, and your
authority live from generation
to generation. Renew our days as
of old. Father, be not angry
with us. Deliver us from our
destructions. Deliver us from
the sin that easily besets us.
“Blessed is he whose
transgression is forgiven, whose
sin is covered. Blessed is the
man unto whom the Lord imputeth
not iniquity, and in whose
spirit there is no guile. When I
kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day
long. For day and night thy hand
was heavy upon me: my moisture
is turned into the drought of
summer. Selah. I acknowledged my
sin unto thee, and mine iniquity
have I not hid. I said, I will
confess my transgressions unto
the Lord; and thou forgavest the
iniquity of my sin. Selah. For
this shall every one that is
godly pray unto thee in a time
when thou mayest be found:
surely in the floods of great
waters they shall not come nigh
unto him. Thou art my hiding
place; thou shalt preserve me
from trouble; thou shalt compass
me about with songs of
deliverance. Selah. I will
instruct thee and teach thee in
the way which thou shalt go: I
will guide thee with mine eye.
Be ye not as the horse, or as
the mule, which have no
understanding: whose mouth must
be held in with bit and bridle,
lest they come near unto thee.
Many sorrows shall be to the
wicked: but he that trusteth in
the Lord, mercy shall compass
him about. Be glad in the Lord,
and rejoice, ye righteous: and
shout for joy, all ye that are
upright in heart” (Ps 32).
Beloved, God has told us to turn
from our evil ways and deeds. We
see here in Psalm 32 what God
does for those who cry unto Him
with a pure heart. God can turn
those who will acknowledge their
sin unto Him, those who will not
hide their iniquity. Iniquity is
consistent and persistent sin,
sin that easily besets you. God
will turn those around who
confess their transgressions
unto Him. He will forgive the
iniquity of their sin. When God
forgives our iniquities, He
enables us to become righteous
and to be blessed. To be blessed
means to be enabled to prosper.
Yes, those whose transgressions
are forgiven, those whose sins
are covered, are those who are
enabled to prosper.
I am sure God finds it amusing
when we try to deceive Him,
because He knows all things.
There is nothing hid from His
eye. There are many who are
relating to God and man with
such deceit. They may be smiling
on the outside, but they are
frowning on the inside. They
talk to God and try to hide
their sin. How can God put you
in a category where He will not
impute iniquity in you? Impute
means to lay responsibility or
blame, often falsely or
unjustly. God is calling you to
turn from your evil ways, to rid
yourself of deceit in your
spirit. How can God forgive your
transgression and cover your
sin? He does this when we
acknowledge our sin. So, today I
want to encourage you to get on
your knees and acknowledge your
sins unto God. You know the sins
that easily make you stumble,
you know your iniquity; do not
hide it from God. Confess your
transgressions to the Lord so
that He will forgive you, draw
you near, and instruct you in
the way to go.
Prayer
Points:
Oh Lord, remove deceit from
our spirit and in our
relationship with you. Father
have mercy upon us. According to
Lamentations, Father, turn us,
Oh Lord, and let us be turned
unto you. Living God, turn us
unto thee and we shall be
turned. Let this be our reality
in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Scripture Reading: Hebrews
10:19–25
“Let us draw near with a true
heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil
conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let us
hold fast the profession of our
faith without wavering; (for he
is faithful that promised;) And
let us consider one another to
provoke unto love and to good
works: Not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves
together, as the manner of some
is; but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see
the day approaching”
(Heb 10:22–25).
United In Love
Father, we thank you for the
blessing of cleansing and the
privilege of sanctification. We
thank you for washing us with
pure water. By your grace, today
is better than yesterday and we
are persuaded that in your
faithfulness, tomorrow will be
better than today. The sin that
easily besets us is no longer
holding us down. Thank you for
delivering us from our old
nature, for giving us a new
nature. We pray, Oh Lord, that
that which you expect from us
will become reality; sin will no
longer live in our lives in
Jesus’ name.
“Having therefore, brethren,
boldness to enter into the
holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which
he hath consecrated for us,
through the veil, that is to
say, his flesh; And having a
high priest over the house of
God; Let us draw near with a
true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil
conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let us
hold fast the profession of our
faith without wavering; (for he
is faithful that promised;) and
let us consider one another to
provoke unto love and to good
works: Not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves
together, as the manner of some
is; but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see
the day approaching” (Heb
10:19–25).
Beloved, the day of the Lord is
approaching. Are you ready? We
are living in the last days and
it is possible that the King,
the Bridegroom, will return any
day now. Therefore, let us look
to the book of Hebrews to learn
the three main things we can do
to keep ourselves ready. I call
them the three “Let Us.”
The first, in verse 22, says,
“Let us draw near with a true
heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil
conscience . . . ” Are you
troubled by an evil conscience?
I sprinkle the blood of Jesus
upon it today, and I pray that
God in His mercy will clear your
conscience and that sin would no
longer perpetuate in your heart.
Why? Because Jesus died for you
and He is providing for you a
new and living way. He tears
apart all the things that are
shouting against you. He shreds
to pieces all the ordinations
and writings against you and all
of the spiritual tickets that
have been collected against you
because of your sin. Oh Father,
I pray for the grace of
restitution. I pray that we will
all draw near with a pure
conscience, that we will be
washed with the pure water of
the living water. Let it flow
over our soul. Let it wash over
our emotions, and everything
that is crying out against us.
Father, let there be an
uprooting of every evil sinful
thought, in Jesus’ name.
The second thing we can do to be
ready for Christ’s return is
found in verse 23: “Let us hold
fast the profession of your
faith, without wavering.” Be
persistent in your faith and
draw near to God. Do you believe
that Jesus died for you and that
your sins are washed away? Do
not let the enemy bring back
your past to harass you. Hold
fast to your faith that your
heart has been sprinkled from an
evil conscience and your body
has been washed with the pure
water. Confess that Jesus died
for you and that you owe the
devil nothing. You are free.
Whom the Son has set free is
free indeed!
The third, in verse 24, says,
“And let us consider one another
to provoke unto love and good
works.” How can I provoke you to
love? By manifesting a loving
action in your life and showing
you love. Many of us have been
so abused. Many have lived such
a loveless life, a life that has
been so forsaken that we feel as
if nobody cares about us. But by
the grace of God, as we draw
near with a true heart, as we
hold fast to the profession of
our faith, the drawing near to
God provokes acts of love and
good works. I can show you love
that will stir up the love that
has been buried down deep inside
of you for a long time. I can
provoke you to good works by
doing a work unto God that
inspires you to recognize that
you have the ability to do the
same. God is calling us to draw
near to provoke one another to
love and to good works.
Finally, verse 25 says, “ . . .
not forsaking the assembling of
ourselves together because there
we can exhort one another,
encourage one another.” I pray
that God will give us the grace
to draw near today, to hold fast
today, to provoke one another to
love and good works today in the
name of Jesus. And if there is
any backsliding of the church or
abuse in the church, I pray for
the grace of restoration to the
church for you.
Prayer
Points:
Father, let us draw near to
you. Let us hold fast the
profession of our faith, and let
us consider one another to good
work. By your grace we can do
all these things. Keep us pure
and united in love in Jesus’
name. Father, we pray your
blessings upon all of our lives.
Amen.
Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians
2:16
“For who hath known the mind of
the Lord, that he may instruct
him? But we have the mind of
Christ.”
Attitude for a Miracle
Father, we thank you for your
faithfulness. You are merciful
and mighty; there is nothing you
cannot do, nothing you have not
done, and nothing you will not
do for your children. Lord, we
cover ourselves with the blood
of Jesus. We ask that in your
mercy and in your love, you
upgrade us from natural to the
supernatural, from ordinary to
the extraordinary.
Beloved, today I want to affirm
that miracles are a suspension
of the natural order to the
supernatural. Miracles cause
life to go from ordinary to the
extraordinary. Who are those who
will encounter miraculous deeds,
miraculous communication, and
miraculous work everyday because
they are working in the realm of
miracles? Let us resolve to work
in that realm because it is
going to be awesome!
The number one qualification for
working in the realm of miracles
is that you are one of the
Lord’s sheep. The Lord does not
shepherd stray sheep: those who
look and act like goats, those
who are unequally yoked, or
those who are distracted or
confused. Life in the
extraordinary is available to
those who are able to say, not
by recitation but by true
experience, the Lord is my
Shepherd and I shall not want.
To experience miracles you have
to surrender your life to Jesus.
When He calls you, you will
bleat baaaa like the
sheep. When the goat bleats, it
says naaaa. Are you
someone who says yes to the
Lord? Or, do you say no yet call
yourself one of His sheep. I
pray that God will upgrade you
to being a yes person.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I
shall not want. He maketh me to
lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still
waters. He restoreth my soul: he
leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name’s
sake. Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil: for
thou art with me; thy rod and
thy staff they comfort me. Thou
preparest a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over. Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow
me all the days of my life: and
I will dwell in the house of the
Lord forever” (Ps 23).
The next qualification for
working in the realm of the
miraculous is to be hungry for a
miracle. Miracles do not happen
for those who are passive, for
those who are content with
things the way they are. To work
in the realm of the miraculous,
you have to wake up expecting a
miracle and continue to ask for
one at lunch, dinner, and in
your dreams. Beloved, what are
you hungry for? Do you
articulate your desire for a
miracle? The Bible says to write
the vision and make it plain, so
that they read it and run with
it (Hab 2:2). When you write it
down, God looks at it and says,
“Wow, that’s what my child
wants.” He now sends an angel to
run with it and cause it to
become a reality. You have got
to be allergic to the status
quo, where you know that with
God everything is possible.
Instead of staying passive, you
must take action because you are
hungry for a miracle.
The third qualification for
working in the realm of the
miraculous is to determine that
the natural does not excite you
anymore. You want change for the
better and you are ready to work
for it. The fourth qualification
is to expand your mind. The
Bible says to be renewed by the
transforming of your mind (Rom
12:2). In order for the mind of
Christ to be in you, your
natural mind must yield. When
you look at things, you begin to
look at them the way Jesus looks
at them. When you take on the
mind of Christ, fear will give
place to a new courage that will
surprise even you and those who
know you. You are out of your
mind; you have renewed your mind
and have now allowed the mind
that was in Christ to dwell in
you. When you see a sinner, you
do not judge him anymore; you
look at the need for salvation.
When you see a problem, you do
not analyze it anymore, you now
look at it with the mind of
Christ and you begin to see the
solution. Let this mind be in
you, which was in Christ Jesus.
Miracles are only open to those
who have an expanded mind. Let
the mind of Christ be in you so
you will begin to think, act,
express, and desire like Jesus.
Oh Lord, let this be a reality
in our lives.
Prayer
Points:
We pray for the grace to be
the Lord’s sheep because a life
surrendered to the Lord, being
one of His sheep, is the best
life ever. We pray for the grace
to be hungry for a miracle. God
Almighty we reject the status
quo; we are allergic to it and
from now on will work for
change. Heavenly Father, we pray
for an expanded mind, that
Christ’s mind will be in us in
Jesus’ name. Amen.
Beloved, this is all possible
when you are born again. If you
are not born again, pray along
with me and say, “Lord Jesus, I
surrender my life to you. Bless
me, Oh Lord, with life in the
realm of the miraculous. The
ordinary and the natural is now
boring to me. I am ready for the
extraordinary. I am ready for
the supernatural. May that be my
reality in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Scripture Reading: Isaiah
1:17–20
“If
ye be willing and obedient, ye
shall eat the good of the land:
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye
shall be devoured with the
sword: for the mouth of the Lord
hath spoken it” (Isa 1:19–20).
Be Willing and Be Obedient
Father God, we thank you because
whatsoever we ask in your name
by faith we receive. Father,
give us the grace to come closer
to you so that we will see more
of you and believe you more.
Father, we adore you, now make
us love you more. We thank you
because we can go higher, we can
wax greater and greater. Father,
grow our faith and make
obedience to it a reality in our
lives, in the name of Jesus we
pray.
“Learn to do well; seek
judgment, relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless, plead for
the widow. Come now, and let us
reason together, saith the Lord:
though your sins be as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool” (Isa
1:17–18).
Beloved, many want their sins to
be white as snow.. We want to
enjoy the good of the land, but
are not willing to come close to
the Lord. We are not willing to
reason together with the Lord,
not willing to learn to do well,
to seek judgment, or to relieve
the oppressed. We are not
willing to judge the fatherless
or to plead for the widow.
Because we are not doing all
these things, the good of the
land eludes us. I pray today in
the name of Jesus that God will
give us a willing heart and the
grace to learn to do well. Doing
well is not natural to man and
that is why it must be learned.
We are in the age where
Christianity is so full of
liberty that the Word and the
world are seen as one. But they
are never one, and that is why
the Bible says you need to
learn to do well. You need
to learn by attending teaching
forums, not forums of
excitement, but forums where you
will be taught the Word of
God—precept upon precept and
line upon line. In this way you
will understand the old way and
you will find rest for your
soul. Learning to do well will
help you enjoy the good of the
land. Even for those who dwell
in the land of plenty, there is
lack; the good of the land is
not reaching us. The Bible says
that if you are willing and
obedient, you shall eat the good
of the land. You must be willing
to learn the right way of doing
things, so that you can walk
therein. Some people are
stubborn and want to learn
things their way, but if you are
not learning what is biblical,
you will not eat the good of the
land. The Bible says to learn to
do well; you must study the Word
and show yourself approved.
We are then to seek judgment. To
“seek” means you must look for
it, it is not going to just come
to you. What is true judgment?
Judgment is in the Word of God,
which will help us to make
correct decisions. Wrong
judgment has taken many people
into a pit that only God can
deliver them out of. That is why
the Bible says: number one,
learn to do well; number two,
seek judgment; number three,
relieve the oppressed; number
four, judge the fatherless;
number five, plead for the
widow; number six, come to the
Lord and reason together with
the Lord. Come to the Lord even
as you are.
Come to the Lord and say, “I’ve
been doing very badly and now I
have learned to do well; I found
out that my judgment has been
wrong and I have come to seek
judgment. Lord, I’ve relieved
the oppressed, judged the
fatherless and pleaded for the
widow. Now I’ve come to reason
together with you Lord, so that
you will wash away my sins and
make them white as snow.” God
sent His Son, our Lord Jesus
Christ, to die so that whosoever
believes in Him will not perish,
but have eternal life (John
3:16). When your sins of
yesterday come knocking, the
Righteous One, the Lord Jesus
Himself will answer and say, “I
paid in full for these sins,
don’t even mention it.”
Do you know that when you reason
with God, your condemnation
disappears? I heard a story from
one our pastors. A parishioner
kept coming to him and saying,
“The Lord visited me yesterday
and I had a long chat with Him.”
After a while this pastor got
irritated with the young
parishioner and said, “If it was
the Lord speaking to you, when
He comes to you next time, ask
Him if He can tell of my sins
that I’ve told nobody of.” So
when the Lord came, the
parishioner asked, “Lord, my
pastor said for you to tell me
the sins he committed long ago
that he didn’t tell anybody,
then he will know that it is
really you talking to me.” The
Lord answered, “Go tell your
pastor, I can’t remember.” When
the Lord says He can’t remember
it means the pastor’s sins were
washed away. Man can forgive but
he cannot forget. When a person
is pushed into a corner, he will
say this is what you did to me
in 1942. But the Lord Jesus is
able to forgive and forget.
“Just come now,” that is what
the Lord is saying. Come now let
us reason together. Come and
understand my salvation plan, my
redemption plan, my prosperity
plan. Come and understand why I
have deposited good in the land.
It is for you to eat of, to
receive and to enjoy. If ye be
willing and obedient, ye shall
eat the good of the land.
Prayer
Points:
Are you ready to come now to
the Lord? You are not close to
God and you know it; you are
very far from Him. You receive
from Him like a postman
delivering mail, but you do not
know Him. You do not have a
personal relationship with Him.
This is the time for you to pray
now and say, “Dear Lord Jesus, I
surrender my life to you. Write
my name in the Book of Life.
Lord, in your mercy and in your
love, accept me as your child
and I accept you as my personal
Lord and Savior.” If you are
already walking with the Lord,
follow His precepts; be willing
and obedient. Yes, it is the
time of good things; eat the
good of the land in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
Scripture Reading: John 14:11–15
“Believe
me that I am in the Father, and
the Father in me: or else
believe me for the very works'
sake. Verily, verily, I say
unto you, He that believeth on
me, the works that I do shall he
do also; and greater works than
these shall he do; because I go
unto my Father. And whatsoever
ye shall ask in my name, that
will I do, that the Father may
be glorified in the Son” (John
14:11–13).
Father, we thank you because the
Lamb that was slain is worthy.
We thank you because we overcome
by the blood of the Lamb and by
the word of our testimony. We
thank you because every test we
are going through now will
become a testimony, every trial
we are going through now will
lead to triumph in the name of
Jesus. Lord, we thank you for
your Word that is settled, that
is calling us to believe in you
so that when we ask anything in
the name of Jesus, God will do
it.
“Jesus cried and said, He that
believeth on me, believeth not
on me, but on him that sent me.
And he that seeth me seeth him
that sent me. I am come a light
into the world, that whosoever
believeth on me should not abide
in darkness. And if any man hear
my words, and believe not, I
judge him not: for I came not to
judge the world, but to save the
world. He that rejecteth me, and
receiveth not my words, hath one
that judgeth him: the word that
I have spoken, the same shall
judge him in the last day. For I
have not spoken of myself; but
the Father which sent me, he
gave me a commandment, what I
should say, and what I should
speak. And I know that his
commandment is life everlasting:
whatsoever I speak therefore,
even as the Father said unto me,
so I speak” (John 12:44–50).
Our message today is titled,
“Believing and Asking.” “If ye
shall ask anything in my name, I
will do it. If ye love me, keep
my commandments” (John
14:14–15).
Pray for the grace to believe
and ask. Beloved, do you believe
Jesus, or is Christianity a
religion that you were born into
or was handed down to you?
Beloved, I want you to upgrade
today; I want it to be your
faith. There must come a day in
life when you will say, “My
parents introduced me, but today
I am surrendering my life to
Jesus. I am committing my life
to believing in Jesus and acting
on His Word.” Beloved, if you
are a Christian today, you know
as I know that God has done a
work in your life. When He says
for “works’ sake,” He is not
talking about the miracles
written about in the Bible. He
is talking about the works He
has done in your life. There are
things that have happened in
your life that you know
were His work and He is saying
that if everything around you
doubts Him, why not believe Him
for His works’ sake? Why not
believe Him like David did when
He faced the giant Goliath, by
remembering the work that the
Lord did yesterday, that he
“delivered me from the paw of
the lion and the paw of the
bear” (1 Sam 17:37). David then
said, “He will deliver me from
this Goliath.” The foundation of
your faith is in believing the
work that the Lord has done in
your life. When the Lord Jesus
takes you over as His personal
project, He does works and
provides signs to you so that
you know positively that He
loves you. You are able to say,
“yes, Jesus loves me,” not just
because the Bible tells you so,
but also because you have
experienced Him.
Have you experienced Jesus? If
you are born again, filled with
His Spirit, no doubt you have
experienced Him. You have
experienced salvation; you have
experienced receiving direction
from Him. That is why this
message is for you today. Yes,
these are the days when those
who believe will receive. Where
is Jesus now? He sits at the
right hand of God the Father
Almighty, the creator and owner
of heaven and earth; the one who
can make a way where there is no
way. The one who can change your
circumstance suddenly; The one
who can open the door that no
one can shut; the one who will
shut doors that no one will
open. What is Jesus doing by
God? He is ever making
intercession for you and me. He
is saying, “I am your justifier,
your intercessor. I am there
pleading your case. Ask anything
in my name and I will do it
because I said yes to God and
God will never say no to me.”
The one whom God said yes to is
sitting at the right hand of God
on our behalf. When God speaks
once it is grace, when He speaks
twice it is amazing grace.
Beloved, believe and ask, and He
will do it. May God be blessed
by our lives forever in this day
of good things in Jesus’ name.
Prayer
Points:
If you have never given your
life to Jesus, pray with me now
and say, “Dear Lord Jesus, I
accept you as my personal Lord
and Savior. Write my name in the
Book of Life. Oh Father, give m
the grace to believe and ask in
Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Scripture Reading: Galatians 3:1
“O foolish Galatians, who
hath bewitched you, that ye
should not obey the truth,
before whose eyes Jesus Christ
hath been evidently set forth,
crucified among you?”
Beware of Bewitchment
Father God, we thank you for
allowing us to be a part of your
Kingdom and for increasing our
consciousness of it. Life is not
about us in our little corner of
the world; it is about you in
the totality of your Kingdom.
For the kingdom of this world
has become the Kingdom of our
Lord and of His Christ, and He
shall reign forever and ever. Oh
Lord, identify all who have your
Spirit, for your Word makes it
clear that as many as are filled
and led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.
Many people are planted in our
churches and ministries who do
not have the Spirit of God in
them. They are not lead by the
Spirit; they are inside to
bewitch and enchant. We must
pray earnestly, asking for a
revelation that will cause us to
eliminate them from our lives,
our homes, and our ministries.
We must ask the Lord for His
counsel and wisdom, that we will
never fall victim to the wiles
and works of witches, sorcerers,
and the spirit of bewitchment.
Paul asked the Galatians, “Who
hath bewitched you?” God has a
great Kingdom and a great plan.
He has called out His own and
sent them to earth for an
assignment, but the greatest
hindrance, neutralizer, and
diversion is the spirit of
bewitchment operating in the
church. The Bible says that the
devil has come down as an angel
of light, so the children of God
need to beware. When God gives
you an assignment, the devil
assigns hindering spirits and
locates them in the same venue.
Your assignment involves the
people in your ministry, your
family, and your place of work.
You have a great assignment,
just be aware that there is a
contrary assignment there also.
I thank God that we are more
than conquerors through Christ
who loved us, but recognize that
we have to have knowledge. The
Bible says, “if they do not
listen, they will perish by the
sword and die without knowledge”
(Job 36:12).
Beloved, the bewitching spirit
often operates through
enchantment, which can be
witchcraft’s most diplomatic
tool. An enchanter is something
that mesmerizes you and causes
you to behave differently than
if you had command of your full
senses. You are meant to be at
the cutting edge of ministry,
but the devil sends a bewitching
spirit, not one who is
invisible, but one who is
located in a person, through a
personality, or a people. Their
assignment is clear: to
incapacitate you so that you do
not fulfill your ministry. I
want to warn particularly those
who know they have a call upon
their lives, those who know that
sooner or later they will be in
ministry. Beware of bewitchment.
If it did not exist Paul would
not have said to the Galatians:
“O foolish Galatians, who hath
bewitched you?” Do not be
foolish, be wise and understand
how the spirit of witchcraft
operates in a church, a family,
or in any social setting.
Enchanters arrive with
distractions, confusion,
divisions, and problems that may
make you forget the essence of
your assignment. Sometimes they
come with the spirit of outright
hostility.
Oh divinely assigned child of
God, may God give you
revelations for the discerning
of spirits and the ability to
rise above them in the name of
Jesus. How can you fault someone
who is always giving you gifts
and bending over backwards to
help you? Whether you are
conscious of it or not, the
person who is up to no good is
making his or herself an issue,
a personality, or principality
in your life. Sooner or later
there will be strings attached
to the aid they gave you and you
will become their puppet,
because you became beholden to
them. Beware of the gifts you
take. Sometimes people in church
are very eager to give you
money. “Take this for your
transportation, take this for
your food, take this . . . ”
When you receive that gift, do
you feel beholden to the giver?
The only giver you and I should
be beholden to is the Lord Jesus
Christ. Oh believer, seek God
while avoiding baseless gifts
from men. Tell them you do not
need it. Do not let an important
person buy your soul with food,
or buy your soul with money.
Avoid anyone who makes you feel
like you owe them. This is an
enchanting bewitching spirit.
The Bible says they will be
judged for their sorcery. A
sorcerer is one who practices
spells or uses sorcery to
exercise supernatural powers on
others through the assistance of
the spirit of witchcraft. I pray
that God will give you the grace
to discern that you are not
meant to fall prey to the works
of enchanters. May God cause you
to wake up, and regain and
redeem the time they steal.
Father, restore to us the years
that the locust has eaten and
the time that the enchanter has
taken from you and from your
ministry.
Prayer
Points:
I pray for that one, for that
ministry that has been nullified
and neutralized by the spirit of
witchcraft. I pray today that
our Mighty God will deliver you
from the operation of the spirit
of witchcraft in your ministry,
in your home, in your family, in
your children, and in every
realm of your life as you
operate with the consciousness
of the King. Oh may you be wise
and never bewitched. Beware of
bewitchment, enchantments,
agents, and wolves in sheep’s
clothing. Father I pray
aggressively, eliminate the
enchanter from our lives and
cause us to work with a pure
heart to fulfill our destiny in
Jesus’ name. Amen.
Scripture Reading: Romans
15:13
“Now
the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace in believing,
that ye may abound in hope,
through the power of the Holy
Ghost.”
Blessed Assurance
Father, we thank you because you
are our secure hiding place. We
thank you because you always
fill our hearts with songs of
deliverance. We thank you for
the blessed assurance that Jesus
is ours and today we pray that
that assurance will be enabled
in our lives. Lord, decode your
Word to us and help us to
understand it; let insecurities
and fear depart from the lives
of your children in Jesus’
name.
Many Christians are crippled
beneath the spirit of fear; they
are operating with a lack of
confidence. Various complexes
based on their past experiences
are pounding them into
depression. I speak today to
that strong man of heaviness, I
say leave God’s people alone and
let the enabled assurance, the
blessed assurance that Jesus is
on their side, bring about a new
level of confidence in God.
Do you know that you know that
you know you are a child of God?
To have blessed assurance means
that you have mighty confidence.
When something is blessed, it is
enabled. When someone is
blessed, they have been enabled
and empowered to prosper. When
we have a blessed assurance in
our lives, confidence in God has
been enabled. We are empowered
with confidence in God; we have
been given the anointing of
trust in God. I pray today that
if there is anyone who in anyway
feels that they are unsure they
belong to Jesus, that today the
Lord God Almighty will give you
His blessed assurance. I pray
that God will enable confidence
in you, will empower you to
trust Him because trust
essentially brings about an
assurance that you are secure,
that you are safe, that no power
formed against you shall stand.
That empowered confidence causes
you to believe the Bible, to
hope in God, to trust in God, to
know that He will never fail you
because He has never failed you
yet.
To be assured means the security
of knowing. To have the
assurance that you are a child
of God and that your name is
written in the Book of Life in
heaven can only come when you
have empowerment from the Living
God. The Bible says that blessed
assurance is available to those
who are the elect. If you are
one of the chosen children of
God then you have this
assurance; trust and faith in
God is enabled in you. You now
have union with Christ, you are
in possession of eternal life,
and you have peace. The fruit of
someone who has a blessed
assurance is that you will
believe God’s Word. You will
have this sign that you believe
God’s Word; you accept that
Jesus Christ is your savior, and
you consider the work at Calvary
to be sufficient. You will
literally be able to stand on
the promises of God because that
is your foundation. You will
have a hunger for a closer walk
with the one in whom you trust;
you will desire spiritual things
and spiritual growth. May God
give us that ability to believe
God’s Word, that ability to know
that the shed blood of Jesus
saves us, and that ability to
desire spiritual things and
spiritual growth in grace. You
will have an inner peace that
passes your understanding and
your circumstances. Inner peace
makes you confident in fearful
times; that is blessed
assurance. With inner peace you
have joy and with joy you will
have victorious living.
We all sing that song “Blessed
Assurance, Jesus Is Mine,” but
is our assurance absolute trust
is God? Is your assurance level
in its enabled or disabled
state? We all have the seed of
assurance, trust is in us, but
in some lives it has been
disabled. Have you, Oh
Christian, been enabled to have
confidence in God, to trust God,
to believe God’s Word, to desire
spiritual growth, to have inner
peace that passes all
understanding, to have joy, to
have victorious living? Beloved,
if you trust in God, may you
grow from grace to grace and
from glory to glory in this
state of enabled blessed
assurance. If you are a
Christian and you do not trust
God, I want to say to you today
that your assurance has not been
enabled and I pray today in the
name of Jesus that God in His
mercy will give His assurance in
you. I pray that God will give
you that absolute confidence and
trust to work with Him in the
way only God can.
Prayer
Points:
Yes, now the God of hope will
fill you with all joy and peace
in believing that you may abound
in hope through the power of the
Holy Ghost. That is the Word of
God for you in Romans 15:13. May
you have the joy and peace in
believing, may you have the
blessed assurance today in
Jesus’ name. May trust and power
be enabled in you today in
Jesus’ name. But if you have
never given your life to Christ
pray along with me, “Lord Jesus,
I surrender my life to you. I
accept you as my personal
Savior. Bless me with the
blessed assurance, I pray, in
Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Scripture Reading:
Deuteronomy 33:12
“The
beloved of the Lord shall dwell
in safety by him; and the Lord
shall cover him all the day
long, and he shall dwell between
his shoulders.”
Everlasting Father
Father God, we thank you for the
privilege of knowing you as our
Everlasting Father. Lord, we
thank you because you have an
everlasting attitude, an
everlasting nature; we thank you
because you are not controlled
by time. Your fatherhood is not
intermittent, it is permanent;
it is from eternity to time and
from time to eternity. Lord, we
glorify your holy name because
you are everlasting.
May God give you and I the grace
to operate in His Kingdom as
subjects of the King of kings;
to operate with a consciousness
of His dominion over our time
and the affairs of our lives. Be
an active lover of God, an
active servant of the King and
be the beloved so that you will
dwell upon His shoulders. I pray
that this year, the government
of your life will totally be
upon the shoulders of the King
of kings and the Lord of lords.
“For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counselor, the
mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isa
9:6).
His name shall be called
Wonderful (may His wonders
permeate your life), Counselor
(may He counsel you), and Mighty
God (may His might be manifested
on your behalf). Today, I want
us to focus on His name as the
Everlasting Father. In a human
life, children are born into the
hands of parents, but sometimes
through the course of life, we
experience the departure of a
father. When he dies, he is no
longer physically available. But
to anyone who may be mourning
the passing of a father, today I
want to encourage you with the
reality that you have an
everlasting Father if you make
yourself available to Him. God
is to you what you make Him to
be. If you look at God and say,
“God, I want you to be my
everlasting Father,” God in His
faithfulness will accept you as
His everlasting child. Jesus has
the ability to be a Father who
will never die because He is the
Everlasting Father.
May you experience the
everlasting fatherhood of our
Lord Jesus Christ, who is the
Ancient of Days; He was there in
the beginning and He still here
today. Many fathers have come
and gone, but He is our
everlasting Father. Ask for a
revelation today that the Lord
Jesus Christ is your permanent
Father, the Father who will
never disown you and never die.
He is the one who will defend
you with all His might with His
omnipresent abilities. He is the
Father who will provide for you
because He is Jehovah Jireh; the
Father who is El-Shaddai,
because he has the ability to be
all-sufficient for you. Yes, He
is Jehovah Shalom, the God of
your peace. He is Jehovah
Shammah, your ever-present God.
Yes, He is your everlasting
Father and He is asking you and
me today: Would you accept me as
your everlasting Father? Would
you factor the reality of my
everlasting Fatherhood into your
intermittent fatherhood
relationship? Would you come
unto me and be at rest in the
issue of parenting? Some of you
have been abused, cursed, and
abandoned by your earthly
father, but Jesus is your
everlasting Father. He is able
to make provision for you to the
end: provision for you in time
and provision for you in
eternity.
God has introduced His Son to us
and expressly stated all the
dimensions of His Kingship. He
says, and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counselor, the
Mighty God, and His name shall
be called Everlasting Father. I
am introducing you to a new
Father today. A Father who will
never die, whose will is active
and always being replenished,
and whose resources are
inexhaustible.
Prayer
Points:
Oh everlasting Father, the
Author of our lives, the
Finisher of our faith, the Alpha
and the Omega who have the
ability to begin and finish, the
one who wrote the first chapter
of our lives and who will write
the prospect of our lives in
eternity. The one who will give
us the experience of positive
eternity in heaven, my
everlasting Father, today I call
on you to reveal to us the
concept of your everlasting
Fatherhood, that no one would
ever feel fatherless again. I
pray that every abuse from an
earthly father will be
eliminated today, as the concept
of your everlasting fatherhood
becomes a reality to us. Oh King
of kings, I pray that you will
walk us through the months, the
days, the hours, and the minutes
with the revelation and
understanding that we have a
heavenly Father and His name is
Jesus.
If you are not born again,
start by surrendering your life
to Him now and say, “Lord Jesus,
I surrender my life to you and I
submit myself to your
everlasting Fatherhood.”
May you personally embrace
the concept of the everlasting
Fatherhood of the Lord Jesus
Christ in your life today.
Scripture Reading: Numbers
4:29–33
“As
for the sons of Merari, thou
shalt number them after their
families, by the house of their
fathers. . . . And this is the
charge of their burden,
according to all their service
in the tabernacle of the
congregation; the boards of the
tabernacle, and the bars
thereof, and the pillars
thereof, and sockets thereof,
And the pillars of the court
round about, and their sockets,
and their pins, and their cords,
with all their instruments, and
with all their service: and by
name ye shall reckon the
instruments of the charge of
their burden” (Num 4:29, 31–32).
Jesus Billboard
Father God, we thank you because
you are seen in the eyes of your
people even this generation.
Lord, we glorify your holy name
because we will behold you face
to face. You have placed us in
the proper path and we ask that
you give us the grace to possess
our prepared places; that we are
perpetually in our right places
for your purposes. Lord, I ask
in Jesus’ name that you make us
pillars as daughters and sons in
your house; make us billboards
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today our topic is the ministry
of Merari, the sons of Levi who
are given the charge to take
care of the boards, bars,
pillars, and sockets of the
tabernacle. For this, the Bible
says all are called into
service: “from thirty years old
and upward even until fifty
years old shalt thou number
them, every one that entereth
into the service, to do work of
the tabernacle of the
congregation” (Num 4:30). “This
is the service of the families
of the sons of Merari, according
to all their service, in the
tabernacle of the congregation,
under the hand of Ithamar the
son of Aaron the priest” (Num
4:33).
Beloved, in the Merari ministry
of our generation, if you are
ministering or doing service
for God, the first thing He
wants you to take care of is the
board. In current language, we
have what we call billboards and
they advertise something or
someone. Billboards are used to
send messages to the masses.
Applying the Merari ministry
today, the Lord asks us to take
charge of the boards. He wants
you to become a symbol, to
display a message for mass
communication. When you take
care of the boards as a minister
of the Living God, you become a
mobile advertisement of the Lord
Jesus. Just like the ministry of
Merari, you need to take care of
the boards of the tabernacle.
Make sure that you take care of
you, your personality, your
appearance, your actions, your
thoughts, your words, and your
deeds. When you are an
advertisement for a particular
message, your goal is to get
people to look at you so that
you can point them to the
message. Your integrity should
be such that people will be
drawn to you and the
authenticity of your spirit.
Your love and your
manifestations of the fruit and
the gifts of the Spirit should
draw people to you. Your
compliance with Galatians
5:22–23 will attract people to
you and they will ask about your
life. When you send the truth of
your life across to them, they
will ask about it and you can
share with them how to have that
kind of life in Jesus Christ.
God is looking for billboards.
He is looking for people who
will manifest His glory and His
attributes, people who will
manifest sons and daughters of
the King of kings on earth
today. God wants you to take
charge of the boards of the
tabernacle. The advertisement of
the church of the Lord Jesus
Christ is not what we see on
television or in the
advertisements we see in
newspapers, it is in the lives
of the people who call
themselves Christians. When
people look at you, they are
being told: this is what Jesus
is. We are made in the image of
God; we are photocopies of God.
The question is, are you a
perfect billboard, a blurred
copy, or a torn and tattered
billboard?
We are meant to be a living
reality of the Holy Spirit. The
only way you can do this is by
going by the Book, being
packaged like Galatians 5:22–23,
the fruit of the Spirit. Look at
yourself and see if you are
wearing the garment of those
attributes. Are you a container
of the gifts of the Holy Spirit
as stated in 1 Corinthians 12.
You are meant to contain these
gifts and the fruit of the
spirit so that you are a good
advertisement for the Lord Jesus
Christ.

Oh Father God, I pray today,
that in your mercy you will give
us the grace to be fantastic,
excellent advertisements for the
Kingdom of God. I pray that like
the children of Merari, we will
be conscious of the fact that
the boards of the tabernacle go
everywhere we go. May we be
perfect billboards for Jesus.
May we be packaged so that we
promote the many colors of that
one picture of Galatians
5:22–23. May our content and
message be manifestations of the
gifts, because the gifts are
given to us to profit withal.
Beloved, participate in the
present-day ministry of Merari.
Take charge of the board; take
charge of advertising the
Kingdom profitably. Pass the
message across, so people will
come to the Lord Jesus through
you. May God give you the grace
to do this in Jesus’ name.
Scripture Reading: Luke
15:8–23
“And
the son said unto him, Father, I
have sinned against heaven, and
in thy sight, and am no more
worthy to be called thy son. But
the father said to his servants,
Bring forth the best robe, and
put it on him; and put a ring on
his hand, and shoes on his feet:
And bring hither the fatted
calf, and kill it; and let us
eat, and be merry” (Luke
15:21–23).
Joy of Repentance
Father God, we worship you for
who you are. We thank you for
your faithfulness to us, for
your plan of redemption, and
that you love your own to the
end. We thank you for your good
thoughts for us, for your
amazing grace, for your
excellent lovingkindness, and
for the joy of salvation. Oh
Father, we pray that today your
children will arise and go to
you to be restored, reconciled,
renewed, refreshed, and
re-established in their proper
positions in you in Jesus’ name
we pray.
The story of the prodigal son
opens with the words of Jesus:
“there is joy in the presence of
the angels of God over one
sinner that repenteth” (Luke
15:10). Jesus tells how the
younger of two sons asks his
father for his inheritance now.
The son then moves far away and
“wasted his substance with
riotous living” Luke 15:13).
Soon, a mighty famine strikes
the land and the son goes to
work feeding husks to swine.
Since no one gives him food, he
also eats the husks lest he
“perish with hunger” (Luke
15:17). The son finally comes to
his senses, noting that the
“servants of my father’s have
bread enough and to spare” (Luke
15:17). The son decides to go
home, confess his mistakes, and
humble himself to his father,
saying, “make me as one of thy
hired servants” (Luke 15:19).
But even when “he was yet a
great way off, his father saw
him, and had compassion, and
ran, and fell on his neck, and
kissed him” (Luke 15:20).
For those of us who have been
born again for a long time, the
concept of repentance seems so
far away, but many of us have
fallen from the high places and
we need to repent. The true
meaning of repentance is to move
back to the penthouse where God
has placed you. Many of us are
living in the basement. God
prepared a penthouse for you,
but you have fallen. You are
living underground, below your
capacity; you cannot face God
anymore. He is waiting for you
to resurface because when we
repent and get back to that
place of salvation, of grace, of
joy, and to the heart of God, He
rejoices.
God loves a party and the party
is usually because that son who
He hasn’t heard from in a while
has come back to the top with
Him; that daughter who has not
prayed to Him in a while is now
praying. There is joy in heaven
when we repent. I pray that we
will not leave repentance only
to those who are not born again,
but that we will repent by
getting back to the high place
that God has prepared for us in
His Kingdom.
God’s Word says that He created
us with the intent of dominion.
When we are operating below our
destiny, God is never pleased.
He is waiting for us to call on
Him like the prodigal son. The
prodigal son noticed what was
possible with his father, and he
could not wait until his father
died to get what would be his.
Many of us say, “I don’t want to
wait for heaven; I want to enjoy
life now.” The enemy waits and
watches. He sees that we are
“collecting pleasures.” Notice
how it says, “And when he had
spent all, there arose a mighty
famine in the land; and he began
to be in want” (Luke 15:14). Why
did the devil not bring the
famine as soon as the son got
his inheritance? Satan waited
patiently until all the son’s
anointing and resources were
depleted. For many of us who are
moseying along, the devil is
watching: “Well, she’s no longer
with God, but she’s still
praying and still going to
church.” He is waiting for your
oil to finish to bring the
famine. If you are wise, do not
wait until you have stooped so
low as to eat with the pigs. The
Bible says that the young man
was Jewish. Proper Jews do not
eat or touch pigs. He was so
hungry and so in lack that he
found himself craving the food
of the pigs. Are you eating with
the pigs today? Are you loosing
your temper? Are you finding
yourself hungry for the alcohol
that the pigs drink? Are you
hungry for the things that you
normally do not partake? You are
in a dry place, because you have
walked away from God. I am
calling you today to come back.
God is waiting for you to return
to the penthouse so that He can
have a party.
Prayer
Points:
I pray the grace of
repentance to all who are
reading this. If you have never
given your life to Christ, you
need to start there. Pray and
say, “Lord God, I come before
you and I repent. I surrender my
life to you.” If you have
already given your life to Him
but have backslidden, God is
waiting for you to come back so
that He can restore you. Did you
see what the father did? He
instructed the servants to bring
the best robe and shoes for his
son’s feet since the soles of
his shoes were gone. He said to
kill the fatted calf and to eat
it and be merry. Beloved,
examine yourself. Repent, be
converted, and come into the
presence of the Lord where you
will experience refreshment and
joy. God bless you in Jesus’
name.

Scripture Reading: Daniel
11:32
“And
such as do wickedly against the
covenant shall he corrupt by
flatteries: but the people that
do know their God shall be
strong, and do exploits.”
Know God and Be strong
Father God, we thank you for a
new day and for new life. We
thank you for your invitation to
come and reason together with
you, so that our sins will be
washed away and the burdens of
our heart will be rolled away,
that we will become willing and
obedient people who will eat the
good of the land. Father, thank
you for giving us the grace to
know you better, to believe you
more, to serve you better, to
focus on relationship not
religion. I pray that our work
will strengthen this
relationship and that it will
grow into a romance with the
King. Father, let this be a
reality in Jesus’ mighty name.
Beloved, if you know your God,
it will make you strong; it will
give you strength for exploits.
If you know your God, you can
smile at your enemies. Beloved,
do you know your God personally
or have you just been hearing
about Him from other people’s
experiences? Do you call God’s
encounters with you, God’s
dealing in relationship with you
coincidence but when you relate
to other people, you call it
reality? God says that if you
believe in Him, you can ask
anything in His name and He will
do it. He says, let us reason
together so that I will show you
how to eat the good of the land
by your willingness and
obedience (Isa 1:18–19).
“The people that know their God
shall be strong” (Dan 11:32). If
you are weak perhaps it is
because you do not really know
God. Perhaps it is because you
have not factored God into your
difficult situation so that He
will overcome it for you? When
you know your God you will be
strong and have the energy to do
exploits. When you have a lot of
energy, you are capable of doing
many things at the same time.
When you are weak, you see what
you want to do but do not have
the will to do it.
David said, “The Lord is my
rock, and my fortress, and my
deliverer; The God of my rock;
in him will I trust: he is my
shield, and the horn of my
salvation, my high tower, and my
refuge, my saviour; thou savest
me from violence. I will call on
the Lord, who is worthy to be
praised: so shall I be saved
from mine enemies. When the
waves of death compassed me, the
floods of ungodly men made me
afraid; The sorrows of hell
compassed me about; the snares
of death prevented me; In my
distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried to my God: and he did
hear my voice out of his temple,
and my cry did enter into his
ears. Then the earth shook and
trembled; the foundations of
heaven moved and shook, because
he was wroth. There went up a
smoke out of his nostrils, and
fire out of his mouth devoured:
coals were kindled by it. He
bowed the heavens also, and came
down; and darkness was under his
feet. And he rode upon a cherub,
and did fly: and he was seen
upon the wings of the wind. And
he made darkness pavilions round
about him, dark waters, and
thick clouds of the skies.
Through the brightness before
him were coals of fire kindled.
The Lord thundered from heaven,
and the most High uttered his
voice. And he sent out arrows,
and scattered them; lightning,
and discomfited them. And the
channels of the sea appeared,
the foundations of the world
were discovered, at the rebuking
of the Lord, at the blast of the
breath of his nostrils. He sent
from above, he took me; he drew
me out of many waters; He
delivered me from my strong
enemy, and from them that hated
me: for they were too strong for
me. They prevented me in the day
of my calamity: but the Lord was
my stay. He brought me forth
also into a large place: he
delivered me, because he
delighted in me” (2 Sam
22:2–20).
My prayer is that God will give
you a personal revelation of
Himself so that you will be
strong and do mighty acts. David
knew His God and he was known as
a strong king who did exploits.
In the above passage, David was
describing God the deliverer.
When God fights your battle,
sometimes you feel sorry for
your enemies because He comes
with overwhelming force. Is God
your strength and power? Does He
make your way perfect? “God is
my strength and power: and he
maketh my way perfect” (2 Sam
22:33).
Prayer
Points:
Lord God Almighty, we call on
you today to give us a
revelation of you, so that
nothing can shake us. Manifest
yourself in our rhema, in our
inner being, as our strength and
power. Make our way perfect in
Jesus’ name. As you did with
David, make our feet like hind’s
feet; set us upon high places.
Teach our hands to war, so that
our hands, Oh Lord, will break a
bow of steel. Oh Father, give us
the shield of salvation and let
your gentleness make us great (2
Sam 2:34–36). David was a great
man but he did not attribute his
greatness to personal power and
his strength. He said that the
gentleness of God had made him
great. Father God, today I pray
that you will give us knowledge
of you and the grace to be
strong. Your Word says that they
know their God and shall be
strong and do exploits. Let it
be a reality. The best form of
knowing God is to surrender your
life to Him. Beloved, if you
have never given your life to
Jesus, pray with me, “Dear Lord
Jesus, I surrender my life to
you. Write my name in the Book
of Life and give me the grace to
know you, so that I will be
strong and do exploits in Jesus’
name. Amen.”
Scripture Reading: Hosea
2:18–23
“And it shall come to pass in
that day, I will hear, saith the
lord, I will hear the heavens,
and they shall hear the earth;
And the earth shall hear the
corn, and the wine, and the oil;
and they shall hear Jezreel. And
I will sow her unto me in the
earth; and I will have mercy
upon her that had not obtained
mercy; and I will say to them
which were not my people, Thou
art my people; and they shall
say, Thou art my God” (Hosea
2:21–23)
Let Heaven Hear My Cry
Father God, we thank you, we
celebrate you, and we raise our
hallelujah to you, Lord. We
celebrate God, because He is the
God of restoration. Yes Lord, we
thank you because you are
restoring to us the years that
the locust has eaten; you are
restoring our lost places,
glories, and blessings.
Beloved, when God says that He
will hear heaven, and the
heavens will hear the earth, the
earth will hear the corn, the
wine and the oil, He is
referring to unanswered prayers.
In this day of restoration, God
is saying that He will cause
prayers from heaven to come up
to Him; the heavens also will
receive prayer from the earth.
But when God is not hearing,
when God closes His ears in
heaven, the earth cannot even be
heard by heaven. When there is a
free flow between God, heaven,
and earth, abundance is
inevitable. When there is a
blockage between earth, heaven,
and God, lack and
misunderstanding permeates and
evil works begin to happen. When
God hears the heavens, it means
God is in a prayer-hearing and
prayer-answering mood. Today I
ask that the heavens hear the
earth and the earth hear the
corn. When heaven hears the
earth, the heavens respond by
sending down rain so that they
can sow in the earth and there
will be corn and wine and oil
and they shall hear Jezreel.
When the heavens do not hear
earth, it means that earth will
not hear from heaven; it means
that rain will not fall to give
us the food that we need; it
means that answers to prayers
cannot be downloaded to us so
that we can be what we are meant
to be. Today I pray that God
will cause your earth to be
heard by the heaven in Jesus’
name. Wherever you are on earth,
may your heaven not be closed.
Pray for your location now and
say, “Lord God Almighty, as you
promised in this passage of
restoration, let heaven hear the
earth where I am even as you
hear the heavens where you are.
Lord, open your heart to hear
our prayers. Open your eyes to
see our needs and answer the
prayers of our environment in
Jesus’ name.”
Pray that today is the day of
restoration for you, for your
family, for your land, for your
nation, and for the world. May
the rains come so that your corn
will bear fruit, so that the
wine of your life will have
taste, so that the oil of your
life will flow and give you fuel
to fly at the highest level.
Pray that God will cause peace
to be a reality; that God will
not close His ears in heaven;
that God will begin to hear
heaven anew; and that heaven
also will begin to hear earth.
Pray that God will let heaven
open and let rain fall upon the
land physically and spiritually.
Let there be a revival.
Prayer
Points:
Today we pray that heaven
will be heard by you, Lord, and
that it will be heard wherever
we are located, and that earth
also will communicate with
heaven, and that heaven will
release. Yes, in essence we are
praying for open heavens. Father
we pray that you will help us to
recognize when your heaven is
closed; when we are praying but
you are not answering and there
is confusion all around. I pray
today that God will fulfill His
Word of restoration; that today,
He will hear the heavens and the
heavens will hear the earth and
the earth will hear the corn and
the wine and the oil, and they
shall hear Jezreel. May our
prayers be heard today in Jesus’
name. Amen.
Beloved, if you have never
given your life to Jesus, you
are not one of the people of
God. The only way to become a
person of God is to give your
life to Jesus. To surrender your
life, pray with me now, “Lord
Jesus, I surrender my life to
you. Let heaven hear my prayer
today that I have surrendered my
life to Jesus, so that heaven
will respond by causing the
showers and the rains of the
abundance of the blessings of
God to reach the earth of my
life.”

Scripture Reading: 1 Timothy
6:1–2
“Let as many servants as are
under the yoke count their own
masters worthy of all honour,
that the name of God and his
doctrine be not blasphemed. And
they that have believing
masters, let them not despise
them, because they are brethren;
but rather do them service,
because they are faithful and
beloved, partakers of the
benefit. These things teach and
exhort.”
Respect and Be Respected
Father God we thank you because
with you we know we can stand;
we know no matter what may come
our way, our lives are in your
hands. We thank you for you are
the master of the ocean, sky,
and sea. Glory be to your holy
name. Father God Almighty, we
pray that by your grace you will
give us a revelation and the
knowledge of how to live in
holiness and righteousness
before you Lord. Give us the
grace to live the Christian life
and to enjoy it, not to simply
endure it, in Jesus’ name,
Amen!
God has an interest in how we
conduct ourselves as Christians,
particularly in a world that is
out of order; we are meant to
shine as light in the world. The
Bible says, “Let your light so
shine before men, that they may
see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven”
(Matt 5:16). It says we should
count those who are our masters
worthy of all honour that the
name of God and His doctrine be
not blasphemed (1 Tim 6:1). In
your work environment if your
leadership sees you as
disrespectful and undisciplined,
you are using your spirituality
as a cloak to cover
irresponsibility and laziness.
You are blaspheming the doctrine
of God. You are not harming your
masters; you are harming the
Kingdom. God says that we are to
be diligent because, as
Christians, we have the
anointing of the Holy Spirit.
This anointing makes each of us
an extraordinary person, so our
performance should be
extraordinary. Your work should
not be at the same level as the
work of the one who does not
have the Holy Spirit.
God says if you have a believing
master do not despise him (1 Tim
6:2). There is a level of
familiarity that Christians meet
out to one another because they
are believers. Often they do not
respect that leader because they
interact more casually with
them. Instead, God says, not
in spite of but because
you are brethren should you
respect them even more. Many of
us as find ourselves respecting
unbelieving masters more than we
respect believing masters. As
they say, familiarity brings
contempt. These things ought not
to be so. When you have a boss
or leader who is born again,
count it a blessing. Do not
abuse or demean the person God
has placed over you to groom
you. No condition is permanent
and one day you will be master
over others, so it is good to
sow good seeds. God instructs us
to pray for and respect all
leaders, even the unbelieving
ones. If we respect them and do
above what is required, we
manifest excellence and gain
their respect. Now it will be
easier for them to hear our
sermon because our lifestyle and
attitude have preached long
before we open our mouth.
You may have heard the
expression, “your actions are
speaking so loud, I cannot hear
what you are saying.” Sometimes
it is the Christians who cause
trouble in the office.
Co-workers may dread it when we
come into the office because we
have an unbearable attitude.
They see us carrying a Bible and
think if that is what carrying a
Bible is all about I do not want
to carry it. Understand that as
a Christian you are a billboard
and advertisement for Jesus
regardless of your position.
Whether you are an entry-level
worker or higher up the rung,
you need to manifest reverence,
respect, and excellence because
that is what is going to bring
your promotion.
Many of us are praying for
promotion but we have not
learned how to respect, pray
for, or show reverence to the
leaders God has put above us. We
are demonstrating to God that we
are not ready for leadership or
promotion. The day you begin to
respect your elders, respect the
office, and manifest excellence,
God will touch the heart of
management to recognize that you
are the person who has been
groomed and is ready for a
promotion. Leaders will
recognize that you are paying
your dues; that you are
diligent, respectful, and
orderly; and that you are never
tardy or dishonest. God’s desire
is that you excel. Others need
to see that you respect them and
that you respect God, His
workings in you, and His desires
for you.
I believe a word to the wise is
in order. God is calling us to
pray for and respect our
leaders, and he does not do
things just for the sake of
doing. If He is calling you to
respect others, if you obey Him
and offer respect, those whom
you respect will respect and
promote you. There is a
breakthrough around the corner
for someone and what the enemy
has been using to hinder it is
disrespect. Bypass that
disrespect today and watch God
upgrade you. May God cause you
to respect and honor others so
that you will be respected and
honored in Jesus’ name.
Prayer
Points:
Father God, may you give us
the grace not to delay our
promotions, not to delay our
deliverance from bondage. Give
us the grace to respect and
honor all who He has placed in
authority over us, whether in a
spiritual or secular
environment. Even when we have
believing supervisors or bosses,
help us not to take them for
granted. In your mercy, give us
the grace to respect them and to
embrace that they are partakers
of the benefit of the Kingdom.
Give us the grace of respect so
that we will be respected in
Jesus’ name, Amen!
Scripture Reading: Genesis
22:2–18
“And he said, Take now thy
son, thine only son Isaac, whom
thou lovest, and get thee into
the land of Moriah; and offer
him there for a burnt offering
upon one of the mountains which
I will tell thee of. And Abraham
rose up early in the morning,
and saddled his ass, and took
two of his young men with him,
and Isaac his son, and clave the
wood for the burnt offering, and
rose up, and went unto the place
of which God had told him.”
22:2–3
The Ultimate Note—Abraham
Father God, we pray that you
will bless us with more love,
more power, and more of you in
our lives. Lord, there is too
much of us, too much of our
flesh. We pray that you will
give us the grace to pay the
price for more of you in our
lives. Lord, we pray that you
will give us a clear
understanding of the value of
playing the ultimate note with
the gifting that you have given
to us. Father God Almighty, we
pray that as you gave Abraham
the grace to play his ultimate
note in faith, Noah the grace to
play his ultimate note in
worship, Solomon the grace to
play his ultimate note in
wisdom, that you will give us
the grace to play our own
ultimate note. We pray that for
every gift, every potential, and
every opportunity that you have
poured into our lives, that you
will give us the anointing to
play the ultimate note. Father,
help us to give back the highest
value that you have given into
our lives. Today, let your Word
be manifest in us, let there be
clear understanding, not just
excitement but incitement,
to working our highest place in
Jesus’ name.
When musicians use their talent
to perform, often they hear
people applaud for them. But
there are times when they play
the ultimate note and receive a
standing ovation. In the life of
the believer, there is a gift
that the Lord has deposited that
can be played averagely or
ultimately. I pray, in the name
of Jesus, that every gift
deposited in us will be brought
out to the optimum level, and
that we will play the ultimate
note with the gift we are given
because a life of mediocrity is
unfair to man and unfair to
God.
In Genesis 22, we read the story
of Abraham, the Father of Faith.
He had so much faith in God that
when God told him to sacrifice
his only begotten son, he did so
without hesitation. The Father
of Faith, who had manifested
faith at various times in his
life, continued to manifest
faith even in that situation. In
Genesis 12, God called Abraham
to come out of his country, and
he did; he left his family and
followed God. All the faith
experiences he had with God from
chapter 12 to chapter 21 came to
climax in chapter 22, with the
release of blessing. Abraham had
cultivated a lifestyle of faith
by the decisions and choices
that he had made.
In verse 17, God says, “That in
blessing I will bless thee, and
in multiplying I will multiply
thy seed as the stars of the
heaven, and as the sand which is
upon the sea shore; and thy seed
shall possess the gate of his
enemies.” I pray, in the name of
Jesus that like Abraham, you
will use the gift He has given
you to play the ultimate note
that you can ever play. God is
waiting for the manifestation of
the gift that is poured in us.
The Bible says that all of
creation groans and awaits the
manifestation of the sons of
God. Where are the Abrahams, the
Noahs, the Ruths, the Isaiahs of
this day? I pray that all who
have a gifting from God
spiritually and/or physically
will determine from today to
play the ultimate note.
Prayer Points:
If you have never given your
life to Jesus Christ, you cannot
play the ultimate note. It is
the Holy Spirit who will give
you the grace to play the
ultimate note with the talent
you have. If you are not born
again, pray with me and say,
“Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you
as my Lord and Savior. Give me
the grace to play the ultimate
note. Write my name in the Book
of Life. Make me born again and
let your spirit lead me to play
the ultimate note. Blessed be
God in Jesus name.”

Scripture Reading: 1 Kings
3:3–15
“Give
therefore thy servant an
understanding heart to judge thy
people, that I may discern
between good and bad: for who is
able to judge this thy so great
a people?” (1 Kgs 3:9).
The Ultimate Note—Solomon
Father God, we praise you. We
give you glory and honor; we
adore you and lay our lives
before you. And Lord, we pray in
the name of Jesus that you give
us the grace to play our best
notes for you. Help us to play
our ultimate note for you, to
get to our highest place in the
giftings that you have poured
into our lives.
In 1 Kings we see that Solomon
played his ultimate note in
wisdom. Solomon was already
wise. His uncle, Ahitophel, was
known as the counselor of David.
The great counselor was also
known for his betrayal of David,
when he became counselor to
Absalom. But Absalom would not
heed his counsel. Ahitophel was
so sure of his own counsel and
wisdom that he took his own
life, because he knew that his
credibility was over. That was
how much wisdom Solomon had in
his genes, but it was not
enough; he needed to play his
ultimate note. When that chance
came, Solomon asked God to give
him an understanding heart to
judge people so that he could
discern between good and bad” (1
Kgs 3:9). He understood that
wisdom is the principal thing.
In playing the ultimate note,
God released to him riches, as
well as wisdom, so that no other
king in the history of this
world can surpass him in wisdom
and wealth.
Beloved, playing the ultimate
note, doing your best, being the
best that you can be for God,
brings rewards, brings release,
brings the grace to say, “I have
done my best.” I pray that the
spirit of mediocrity that has
been neutralizing your blessing
and that has been shortchanging
you be released from you in the
name of Jesus. I pray a divine
release from mediocrity to
excellence to everyone reading
these words.
Father God Almighty, if there be
anyone who should give unto you
gold, deliver them from every
spirit that makes them think
that silver will be enough.
Father, let your children give
you the gold of their life
because nothing but the best for
you with the best that you have
given us will do. King of kings
and Lord of lords, to those whom
you have given the spirit of
intercession, give them the
grace to intercede and to mature
in that gift. To those you have
given wisdom, Father, give them
the grace to use that gift to
their utmost potential. Father,
to those you have given the
spirit of worship, give them the
grace to worship you in spirit
and in truth. Father, thank you
for releasing your blessings to
those who play the ultimate note
with the giftings you have given
them.
Oh living God, the challenge of
being average is oppressing. We
see it all around us; in our
school children, in our
ministers, in the way we pray,
and in the way we worship. But,
Lord, we are fed up with this
mediocrity and know that you are
not impressed. Lord God
Almighty, pour into earth, pour
into our lives that spirit of
the ultimate note, that spirit
of excellence that caused
Abraham to play his best note in
manifesting faith to you, that
spirit that caused you to
release to him blessings beyond
what he had received before. He
was already blessed, but because
he played the ultimate note, you
gave him the ultimate
blessing—being the father of a
nation that is numbered as
grains of sand. Father God, you
blessed Solomon with wisdom, but
because he played the ultimate
note, you poured into his life
the ultimate blessing—the
ability to honestly and
truthfully judge the heart of
man. Oh Father, bless your
children with the grace to play
the ultimate note with the music
of their lives.
Prayer
Points:
If you have never given your
life to Jesus, today is your
day. You cannot be your best,
except the Holy Spirit, the
spirit of excellence, comes into
you. So pray with me, “Dear Lord
Jesus, I surrender my life to
you. Write my name in the Book
of Life. I receive your
atonement for my sin. Pour into
my life your spirit and give me
the grace to be the best that I
can be to the glory of God.”

Scripture Reading: Ruth 1
“And Ruth said, Entreat me
not to leave thee, or to return
from following after thee; for
whither thou goest, I will go;
and where thou lodgest, I will
lodge: thy people shall be my
people, and thy God my God:
Where thou diest, will I die,
and there will I be buried; the
Lord do so to me, and more also,
if aught but death part thee and
me” (Ruth 1:16–17).
The Ultimate Note—Ruth
Father God, we thank you because
no matter what has happened, or
is happening, or will happen, it
is well with our soul. There are
many sounds coming from the
music of our lives, but today we
pray for the grace to play the
ultimate note. Lord, you have
shown us how Abraham and Solomon
played that note and were
showered with your blessings.
Lord, even as we share the
ultimate note of commitment
manifested by Ruth, we pray that
you give us the courage to ask
ourselves: What is the
instrument of the ultimate note
that God has given me to play
for Him? Father, give each one
of us the grace to play that
note so that your blessings
become reality in our lives in
Jesus’ name.
Beloved, Ruth 1 is a full
chapter. Naomi moves to a
foreign land with her husband
and marries off her two sons.
She then loses husband and sons,
and is left with two
daughters-in-law. Orpah and Ruth
were committed to Naomi and
stayed with her after her sons
died. But the reward that Naomi
had yet to give could only be
given to the one who would play
the ultimate note of commitment.
Orpah was involved, while Ruth
was committed.
This story illustrates the
difference between involvement
and commitment. Once there was a
farm that was going to entertain
a visitor. The cow said, “I will
produce extra milk to give you.”
The chicken said, “I’ll just lay
some extra eggs. So we will have
milk and eggs for breakfast. Who
will bring the bacon?” They
turned to the pig and asked,
“Are you going to provide the
bacon for this special visitor?”
The pig answered, “Hen, cow, you
are involved. You release your
eggs and milk and move on. You
are asking me to bring bacon;
you are asking me to die; you
are asking for commitment.”
Ruth had the spirit of
commitment to Naomi. She was
ready to die with her. With this
level of commitment, there is
usually a release of blessings.
Ruth played her ultimate note in
commitment and received the
legacy that made her part of the
lineage of Jesus.
Naomi was a widow; she was
childless and had nothing to
offer any young woman anymore.
Ruth and Orpah were with her,
and everything that could be
taken from her was gone. The
Bible says to let everything
that can be shaken, be shaken so
that what cannot be shaken will
remain (Heb 12:27). The only
thing of Naomi’s that remained
was her legacy. Naomi had given
all kinds of things to these
young ladies, but the time had
come for her to release her
greatest gift: her legacy. When
that person is gone, a legacy is
everything else about the person
that remains. Naomi’s legacy was
that she was a child of God. She
came from a people of destiny
and that could not be taken away
from her. She was broken, she
was alone, she was childless,
but she had a heritage. Because
she had no heirs, she could only
link commitment to that heritage
and Ruth was committed to her.
When Naomi returned to her
people, Ruth was appreciated for
her commitment. When Boaz met
Ruth, he said he had heard about
that spirit of commitment in
her. It gave Ruth the favor that
she needed to be the greatest
woman she could be in her
generation by being the one who
would give birth to Obed, the
father of Jesse, the father of
David, who would ultimately be
part of the lineage of the Lord
Jesus Christ. When Ruth
manifested that commitment to
Naomi, the Lord God Almighty
must have looked down and said,
“I want those genes in the flesh
of my son. When He comes to
earth, He will need commitment
to go to Calvary. I am going to
release my son into her life.”
Commitment brings blessings.
Playing the ultimate note brings
blessings. Ruth played the
ultimate note of commitment and
received the legacy of Naomi.
Orpah thought Naomi had nothing
more to offer and missed Naomi’s
greatest gift. By telling Naomi
she would go, live, and die
wherever Naomi was, Ruth played
her ultimate note and the
ultimate release of legacy came
to her. She, who was a Moabite,
now became an Israelite. She,
who was nobody, became the
mother of Jesus.
I pray that today you will
appreciate the need to manifest
your best at all times. If you
are a student or a teacher, be
the best student or teacher you
can be. If you are a minister,
be the best minister you can be.
If you are a cook or a cleaner,
be the best cook or cleaner you
can be. Play your ultimate note,
for there is a release in
playing the ultimate note that
no other note can give.
Remember, when the musician
plays his ultimate note, he gets
a standing ovation. I pray that
in the name of Jesus you will
play your ultimate note and
receive your standing ovation.
Prayer
Points:
If you have never given your
life to Jesus, you cannot play
that note. Pray with me and say,
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life
to you. Pour into my spirit your
Holy Spirit and give me the
grace to play the ultimate
note.”

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 54
“Sing, O barren, thou that
didst not bear; break forth into
singing, and cry aloud, thou
that didst not travail with
child: for more are the children
of the desolate than the
children of the married wife,
saith the Lord. . . . For a
small moment have I forsaken
thee; but with great mercies
will I gather thee. In a little
wrath I hid my face from thee
for a moment; but with
everlasting kindness will I have
mercy on thee, saith the Lord
thy Redeemer” (Isa 54:1, 7–8).
Restoration
The love of God is too deep to
measure. It is wider than the
widest sea. Holy Father, we
thank you for your amazing
grace. We thank you because by
your mercy, you will cause our
barren places to be fruitful. By
your mercy, Lord God Almighty,
you will enlarge our coast by
increasing and strengthening our
stakes in Jesus’ name.
“Enlarge the place of my tent,
and let them stretch forth the
curtains of thine habitations:
spare not, lengthen thy cords
and strengthen thy stakes; For
thou shalt break forth on the
right hand and on the left; and
thy seed shall inherit the
Gentiles, and make the desolate
cities to be inhabited. Fear
not; for thou shalt not be
ashamed: neither be though
confounded; for thou shalt not
be put to shame: for thou shalt
forget the shame of thy youth,
and shalt not remember the
reproach of thy widowhood any
more. For thy Maker is thine
husband; the Lord of hosts is
his name; and thy Redeemer the
Holy One of Israel; the God of
the whole earth shall he be
called. For the Lord hath called
thee as a woman forsaken and
grieved in spirit, and a wife of
youth, when thou wast refused,
saith thy God” (Isa 54:2–6).
Are you being condemned for
being barren? God is going to do
a new thing in your life; He is
going to increase your
productivity; He is going to
bless you and make you a wonder
and amazement. God is telling
you not to fear, or be ashamed,
or be confused. Have you been
let down by those around you?
God your maker is your husband.
God can marry male and female,
so this statement is not just
for women. The Bride of Christ
has the gender of the male bride
and the female bride. I pray
that all who have committed
their life to Jesus Christ and
who are being oppressed will
turn to their Bridegroom, the
Lord Jesus, the God of the whole
earth. He will not share His
glory in your life with anyone.
He is a jealous God and He wants
you to look to Him now, to
forget about all the let downs,
and let Him lift you up in the
name of Jesus.
“For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed; but my
kindness shall not depart from
thee, neither shall the covenant
of my peace be removed, saith
the Lord that hath mercy on
thee. O thou afflicted, tossed
with tempest, and not comforted,
behold, I will lay thy stones
with fair colours, and lay thy
foundations with sapphires. And
I will make thy windows of
agates, and thy gates of
carbuncles, and all thy borders
of pleasant stones” (Isa
54:10–12).
Father God Almighty in your
mercies let the mountains depart
and your kindness remain forever
in our lives. And Father way
pray for our children. “And all
thy children shall be taught of
the Lord; and great shall be the
peace of thy children” (Isa
54:13). I pray for those
children whose parents are
travailing for them to come to a
personal knowledge of Christ
Jesus. Lord, I pray that there
will be a divine breakthrough, a
divine revelation that our
children will be taught of the
Lord. They have to know God for
themselves; Christianity cannot
be inherited. Living God, cause
our children to be taught of the
Lord. This is a troublesome time
for children. We pray for the
peace of our children that it
would be great in these times.
“In righteousness shalt thou be
established: though shalt be far
from oppression; for thou shalt
not fear; and from terror; for
it shall not come near thee.
Behold, they shall surely gather
together, but not by me:
whosoever shall gather together
against thee shall fall for thy
sake. Behold, I have created the
smith that bloweth the coals in
the fire, and that bringeth
forth an instrument for his
work; and I have created the
waster to destroy. No weapon
that is formed against thee
shall prosper; and every tongue
that shall rise against thee in
judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the
servants of the Lord, and their
righteousness is of me, saith
the Lord” (Isa 54:14–17).
Is the devil harassing you with
thoughts of your past? Everyway
in which you have felt forsaken,
Lord God, let the power of your
great mercies gather us to a new
level in the name of Jesus.
Father God, in your mercy, I
pray that every gathering that
is against me, that is against
your children, will fall. Let no
weapon that is formed against us
prosper. For every tongue that
rises up against us in judgment,
Lord, give us the grace to
condemn it in Jesus’ name.
Prayer
Points:
Father God Almighty, in the
name of Jesus, condemn the
tongues globally that are rising
against us now. In the
workplace, in our ministry,
every tongue that is rising up
in judgment against us, condemn
them in the name of Jesus. For
Lord we are your servants and
this is our inheritance in you.
Father, bless us with an
experience that is perpetually
renewed of your amazing grace.
Father God, we put our trust
under the shadow of your wings.
Lord, abundantly satisfy us with
your deliverance, with your
restoration in Jesus’ name.

Scripture Reading: 2
Chronicles 16:9
“For the eyes of the Lord run
to and fro throughout the whole
earth, to show Himself strong in
the behalf of them whose heart
is perfect toward him. . . .
”
A Perfect Heart
Lord, perfect my heart towards
you. Touch my heart and cause it
to begin to be perfect towards
you that you would show yourself
strong in my life.
Luke 22:24–31 tells us that the
greatest challenge we all have
in this physical body is the
challenge of pride. It hides in
us in different ways. Even the
disciples, the disciplined
followers of Jesus, struggled
with pride amongst themselves.
The Bible says that the heart of
man is deceitful above all else
and desperately wicked. It is
that heart that causes the
disciples to look at one another
and ask who among them is
greatest (Luke 22:24).
Consideration and accounting
comes from the external, not
from God. In the minds and in
the hearts of the disciples, the
question was: “Is Peter the
greatest? Or do they think that
I am the greatest? Do they think
that it’s John or James?” The
Bible says that there was
strife; they began to struggle
amongst themselves over the
issue of who should be counted
the greatest. Let us pray that
God will convert our heart to
think the way His heart thinks.
In their hearts the disciples
were concerned about what other
people thought about them. They
were not talking about who had
the greatest anointing or
gifting. No, they were talking
about who had the greatest
label. All of us face challenges
with how we are labeled, with
what we think people think of
us. When things happen to you,
do you really hurt inside or are
you concerned more about how
people will see you because of
what has happened? Most of the
time it seems like we worry over
external things: how people see
us, the accounting they make of
us, and what they say we are.
May God deliver us from this
heart disease, this disease that
causes us to focus on people.
Today, I pray that God will
deliver us from the thoughts of
other people and from other
people’s perceptions, because
that is what causes strife.
Sometimes we do things for the
sake of appearance, so that we
receive an accounting for it.
Guess what? It is not what man
thinks or sees, but what God
sees in your heart (1 Sam 16:7).
That is why each of us needs to
pray for our heart, because God
wants to show Himself strong to
those who have a perfect heart
towards Him (Ps 7:9). One of the
presents God wants to give to
His children is His manifested
strength.
The Word of God says that His
eyes go to and fro (2 Chr 16:9).
He journeys over this earth all
the time. He starts in the
United States looking around for
hearts that are perfect towards
Him, so He can show Himself
strong towards them. He then
moves on to Europe and then to
Asia, to Africa, to Australia,
and to all the continents in the
world. He travels afar to find
anyone stranded there whose
heart is perfect towards Him. He
is looking to show Himself
strong on their behalf. Wouldn’t
it be nice to have a perfect
heart towards God, so that when
He makes His rounds and gets
into your area, He will say,
“That man’s (or woman’s) heart
is perfect towards me? I need to
show myself strong on his/her
behalf.”
Prayer
Points:
Oh, Father God, show yourself
strong in our lives. Be
magnified to the glory of your
name in all our lives. Father,
touch us and give us a perfect
heart. Father God Almighty, have
mercy upon us and deliver us
from our concerns for external
labeling instead of the internal
content of our heart. Father, we
know that man looks on the
outside, but you look on the
inside. Today, I pray that you
will touch our heart, take hold
of our heart, and turn our heart
towards perfection to you in the
name of Jesus. The things that
we are thinking that we ought
not to think, Oh Living God,
delete them from our heart.
Remove everything from our heart
that is contrary. Father, come
and show yourself strong in our
families, professions,
ministries, and relationships.
Lord, we desire to value our
relationship with you above all,
but sometimes what we wish and
what we do are two different
things. Lord, help us to do all
that is in our heart towards you
in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Scripture Reading:
Philippians 4:11–13
“Not that I speak in respect
of want, for I have learned, in
whatsoever state I am, therewith
to be content. I know both how
to be abased, and I know how to
abound: every where and in all
things I am instructed both to
be full and to be hungry, both
to abound and to suffer need. I
can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.”
Abase and Abound
Christian, have you received the
grace of contentment? Are you
content with what you have,
whether it is little or much? If
you are not at peace, then pray
for the grace of contentment.
Pray for the grace to know how
to abase and how to abound, and
for the grace to do all things
through Christ who strengthens
you.
“To abase” means to know how to
establish a good foundation for
any matter in life. Paul knew
that the foundation of a
Christian’s life is the Word of
God. That is why a Christian who
does not have good Bible study
habits is living in a state of
danger. “To abase” means that
you value beginnings even when
they are small, it means that
you know how to relate to the
rejects as well as the regents
of society. Remember: the
rejects of today may be the
regents of tomorrow. It also
means that you know how to fall
gracefully and rise
majestically, to relate to both
little and big things, and to do
great things with small things
and greater things with big
things.
Paul knew how to humble himself
before the Lord, and he knew how
to stand exalted on the shoulder
of the Lord Jesus. Deuteronomy
33:12 says that He carries us,
His beloved, on His shoulders.
Many Christians know how to
abase, but they do not know how
to abound. “To abound” means to
read the Word and to increase in
the revelation of the Word,
while manifesting it in your
life. You abound by reading the
Word, by taking time to pray
daily and hourly for needs, by
winning souls, by blessing
people, and by increasing in
wisdom, stature, and favor with
God and man. It means to go as
high as you can, because you
relate to your foundation; you
focus on the foundation not on
the increase.
There is nothing as pathetic as
a Christian who has become
disconnected from its
foundation, its root—the Word.
He loses sight of where he has
gone, so he does not know where
he is going. You know how to
abase and abound, because you
have learned to relate to your
root. You remain connected with
your foundation, so you have the
basis to increase to your full
potential. You are free to
abound, because you know that
your God is above all other
gods. Your God brings peace and
contentment. If you are a
Christian with just the ability
to abound, you are like a
building that has a great
foundation but lacks a
structure: there are no walls,
no roof. If you just have the
ability to abase, then you have
a building but no foundation;
the building will fall down.
That is why Paul says that he
knows both. You must abase
first, in order to abound, but
you must do both.
What is your foundation as a
Christian? Is it the Word of
God? Do you know how to abase:
to turn to the Word of God, to
apply it to your life, when
challenges come your way? When
you have trials, turn to your
stronghold, the Word of God. Get
in your prayer closet and relate
to your root, Jesus Christ. That
is abasing. When you do that,
you have no choice but to
abound. You will begin to
manifest the Word of God into
your reality.
Because Paul learned the
importance of abasing and
abounding, he was able to say,
“I can do all things through
Christ, who strengthens me”
(Phil 4:13). Many of us want to
do great things, but we have no
foundation.
May God give us an appreciation
for our foundation, for our
root: the Word of God. Our
culture is not our root, it is
circumstantial, it is based on
how and where we were born. But
the Word of God is settled; it
does not change. We need to
humbly submit (abase) ourselves
to the Word of God and make it
the foundation of our lives, so
that we may increase
exponentially (abound) in all
things.
Prayer
Points:
Father, may we stay connected
to our foundation—the Word of
God. I pray that we will daily
abase ourselves to your will and
to your way. May we abound, so
that our lives will give proof
to this generation that you are
a great God who can do great
things. Oh Lord, as we study the
Word of God, reveal to us how to
have a lifestyle of humility.
Teach us how to be happy and
content with the provisions and
promotions that you give us. As
we stay connected to the Word,
may we grow deep roots and great
branches in the name of Jesus.
May He make the tree of our
lives tall, because we know how
to abase and how to abound.
Amen.
March 28
Scripture Reading: Romans
8:31–39
“Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea
rather, that is risen again, who
is even at the right hand of
God, who also maketh
intercession for us” (Rom 8:34).
No Condemnation
God has brought us through many
experiences and it is by His
grace that we are what we are
today. Let us thank Him for
bringing us through all the
trials that we have faced in
life so far. Let us also thank
Him for delivering us from
everything that has oppressed,
harassed, or distracted us.
“What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who
can be against us? He that
spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how
shall he not with him also
freely give us all things? Who
shall lay any thing to the
charge of God’s elect? It is God
that justifieth” (Rom 8:31–33).
I want you to know today that
you are greatly loved by God.
You are the beloved of God if
you are a born-again Christian
who is filled with Spirit and
washed with the blood of Jesus.
You are the beloved of God if
you have accepted Jesus as your
personal Lord and Savior and are
walking according to His Word.
Nothing can separate you from
the love of God. I pray that you
will be conscious of that love
because it is beyond any other
kind of love that you have
experienced.
“Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? Shall
tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake
we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for
the slaughter. Nay, in all these
things we are more than
conquerors through him that
loved us” (Rom 8:35–37).
God’s love for you never
changes. It is not like the love
of man that is high today and
low tomorrow. His love for you
is consistent and perpetual. God
says in this message that you
are to forget about every
disappointment, every let down,
and all the things that you do
not understand. Do not allow
oppressive things to oppress
you. Instead, look unto the
author of your faith; look unto
that love that is above all
loves. When you are a born-again
Christian, you are filled with
the Spirit and become a
spiritual person. There are so
many blessings available to a
spiritual person. I pray that
God will give you the grace to
walk with and after the Spirit.
When you walk in the Spirit, you
are walking in the realm of no
condemnation. When enemies
accuse you, remember the Word of
God, which says that when you
are in Christ Jesus, there is no
condemnation. Are you in Christ
Jesus today? Are you free from
the law of sin and death? Do you
mind the things of the Spirit
and the things of God? I pray
that the Spirit of God will
quicken your mortal body and
lead you. I pray that you will
have the Spirit of adoption and
call God your Abba Father. I
pray that you will be joint
heirs with Christ Jesus; that
the Spirit of God will help your
infirmity and intercede for you
with groanings too deep to
utter. I pray that all things
will work together for your good
because you are called according
to the purpose of God. God
predestined you to conform to
the image of His son and because
He called you, He will justify
you; because He will justify
you, He will glorify you. If God
be for you, no one can be
against you successfully.
“For I am persuaded, that
neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor
things to come, Nor height, nor
depth, nor any creature, shall
be able to separate us from the
love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord” (Rom 8:38–39).
Nothing shall separate you from
the love of God. You are more
than a conqueror because of the
love of God. This is a message
of encouragement to those who
are feeling forsaken or
abandoned. Today, walk in the
Spirit and you will not fulfill
the lust of the flesh. Today,
pray that everything that is
binding you and drawing you to
death be condemned in the name
of Jesus; that the law of the
Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
will set you free from the law
of sin and death in the name of
Jesus.
Prayer
Points:
If you have never at anytime
given your life to Jesus, I pray
that you will do so now so that
the law of sin and death will
not be your portion. You cannot
walk in the revelation of His
love unless you accept Him. Pray
along with me, “Dear Lord Jesus,
I surrender my life to you. Give
me a born-again experience, and
make me a spiritual person.”
If you have given your life
to Christ, but you are walking
in condemnation and sorrow, or
wondering what is happening to
your life, I recommend that you
read Romans 8. Encourage
yourself in the Lord and remind
yourself that nothing shall
separate you from the love of
God. If your brother forsakes
you, forget it; it doesn’t
matter. What if your father
forsakes you or your mother
forsakes you? So what! The Word
of God says, “When my father and
my mother forsake me, then the
Lord will take me up” (Ps
27:10).
Holy Father, I pray for the
one who has never given his or
her life to Jesus Christ, and
for the one who knows you but is
walking in condemnation. May the
revelation of who you are
encompass them, so that they
will know the never-ending width
and breadth of your love. Become
Lord and Savior today in Jesus’
name.
March 29
Scripture Reading: Joel
2:25–26
“And I will restore to you
the years that the locust hath
eaten, the cankerworm, and the
caterpillar, and the palmerworm,
my great army which I sent among
you. And ye shall eat in plenty,
and be satisfied, and praise the
name of the Lord your God that
hath dealt wondrously with you:
and my people shall never be
ashamed.”
Love Yourself
Father God, we thank you because
you are the restorer of our
soul. Lord, your Word says to us
in Psalm 23 that you restore our
soul. Living God, you know the
state of our soul, you know the
state of our mind, and you know
where each of your children are
right now. I pray in the name of
Jesus, that by your grace, you
will restore all that has been
lost.
Restoration means returning
something to its original state.
Are you one of God’s people? His
Word to you today is that you
should not worry because He will
restore to you all that you have
lost, because He is willing and
able, and because He is the only
one who can. What can be
restored? Whatever that can be
lost. You can lose your joy. God
in His mercy will restore your
joy and let sorrow depart from
your life. Many are walking
around like the living dead. God
can and will restore your life
to you. If you are in lack
today, prosperity will be
restored to you. Even if you are
cursed, He will restore your
blessings to you.
How do you know that you need to
be restored? In the physical,
brethren, when there is a loss
or stress, the body gives
warning or alarm through
headache, pain, or other
symptoms. You begin not to feel
well in your body. In the
spiritual, when there is a loss,
your spirit man also gives you
an alarm, the alarm of
restlessness. Your soul feels
discontent. You do not know what
is wrong, but you feel that
something is. Your head does not
know it, but your spirit man
knows that you have lost some
virtue; peace and quiet are
lost.
Restoration begins with an
interesting word: rest. Rest
means peace and quiet. But that
rest can only come from
restoring what has been lost
spiritually. When you get
restoration, peace and quiet
return to your spirit. When we
are physically strained or feel
pain, we do something about it:
see the doctor, take medication,
take a vitamin. But when we feel
a spiritual loss, it
manifests—if you are a
Christian—in a spiritual
restlessness. You feel a burden
inside you, but your head, your
intellect, does not recognize
what it is. Your spirit man,
however, knows, and when you get
to that place it is time to pray
for rest and peace in the midst
of your soul. How do you get
restoration spiritually? This is
not the time to call everybody
and say, “I don’t know how I’m
feeling. I think it is this, I
think it is that.” First and
foremost, you will find
spiritual restoration in the
Word of God. Read the Bible.
Pray the Bible. Sing the Bible.
Listen to the Word. Listen to
songs of worship. Listen to
uplifting songs based on the
Word of God. Listen to prayer
and prophecy tapes. David said,
“He restores my soul” (Ps 23:3).
The Lord replenishes your
depleting spiritual virtues and
your anointing because He is the
restorer of your soul. Do you
feel restlessness in your spirit
today?
I pray that God in His mercy
will speak to you through His
Word, that you return to the
place of praying and worshiping
in the spirit and in truth. Pray
because the spirit man knows.
The Bible says that we do not
know what we should pray for,
but the Spirit itself should
make intercession for us in
groanings too deep to utter. I
pray that God will alert you to
the realization that you cannot
afford any loss when your spirit
man gives you that alarm. It is
time to pray, time to praise,
time to read the Word, time to
fill yourself up, to fuel
yourself with what brings the
anointing. The anointing does
not just come by some great man
or woman of God laying hands on
you; it comes in the same way
you drink water. When you drink
the water of the Word and the
water of praise and worship,
living waters will spring forth
from you, and the anointing will
fill you and restore your soul.
Prayer
Points:
Father God, I pray for that
one who is at that place where
she is saying, “My soul is not
content; I feel terrible
inside.” Oh Living God, do what
only you can do for your
children. I pray that in the
name of Jesus you divinely
restore all that has been lost
spiritually and physically. I
pray that you will restore joy
to those who are sorrowful
today. Restore love to the one
who is confused. Father, I pray
that you will give us the grace
to begin to love ourselves by
reaching out to you. In your
holy name, Amen.

Scripture Reading: Job 36:11
“If they obey and serve him,
they shall spend their days in
prosperity, and their years in
pleasures. But if they obey not,
they shall perish by the sword,
and they shall die without
knowledge.”
Obey and Serve
Father God, we pray in the name
of Jesus that you will have your
way in our lives. Holy Father,
give us the grace to realize
that the reason we live is to
worship you. Give us the grace
to walk with you in holiness,
give us the grace to walk with
you in righteousness.
Yes, walk with God in holiness
and righteousness: holiness to
the Lord and righteousness to
your fellow man. Serve God in
spirit and in truth, then watch
God do wonders in your life. The
Lord is setting before us the
way of life, the way of
prosperity. Man’s way is the way
of pleasure or the way of
disobedience, the way of the
sword or the way of ignorance. I
pray that in the name of Jesus
you will choose to obey God. We
obey by agreeing with His Word,
by saying, “God says it, I
believe it, and that settles
it.”
I pray that God will deliver us
from the diversion of
compromise, of neutral
Christianity, and of convenient
Christianity. I pray that God
will give us the grace to obey
Him and serve Him because the
Word says that if we obey Him
and serve Him, we shall spend
our days in prosperity. Obeying
God simply means to obey His
Word, to choose the right way by
walking with God through His son
Jesus Christ. He says, “I am the
way, the truth, and the life”
(John 14:6). Walk with Jesus and
serve Him. How do we serve God?
When you obey God, you will have
no choice, but to serve Him.
When you obey God, you will
reach out to your fellow man
with good and with the gospel.
You will reach out in service to
the living God by giving Him
pleasure, by spending your life
worshiping Him. You will spend
your life communicating to a
lost world that Jesus is alive
and well, that Jesus is the
answer for the world today.
I pray that in the name of Jesus
that you obey and serve Jesus,
that you spend your days in
prosperity. Prosperity means
that you have been enabled. You
will spend your days with divine
enablement. When you have a
prosperous day, a day that is
enabled, you will succeed at
every turn. When you spend your
days in prosperity, you are able
to accomplish all things, to
fulfill all that is required for
that day. Therefore, your years
will be years of pleasure. But
for those who do not obey, it is
sad because they perish by the
sword and die in their
ignorance. Today, I pray that no
one will walk in disobedience to
God, that no one will die in
ignorance or without knowledge.
I say this to you from the Word
of God, the God who gives songs
in the night. God is telling you
to obey Him and serve Him and
you will spend your days in
prosperity and your years in
pleasure. He will give you songs
in the night of your confusion
and take you out of your
troubles. God says in Job 34:29
“ . . . when He giveth
quietness, who then can make
trouble?” When God comes into
your night and gives you songs,
no one can make your life
miserable again.
Prayer
Points:
I pray that God will give you
the grace to obey His Word and
to serve Him so that as in Job
36:11, you spend your days in
prosperity and your years in
pleasure. I pray in the name of
Jesus, according to Job 35:10,
that God will bring songs in
every night of your life in the
name of Jesus. I pray Job 34:29
and I speak the quietness of God
in the name of Jesus into every
trouble in your life. And I
encourage you to obey and serve
God.
But what if you have not
given your life to Jesus? How
can you obey God without the
power of the Holy Spirit? How
can you serve God without the
power of the Holy Spirit? How
can you spend your days in
prosperity and your years in
pleasure without surrendering
your life to God? Pray with me
now, “Dear Lord Jesus, I
surrender my life to you.
Forgive me and wash all that is
not of you from me. Write my
name in the Book of Life. Give
me the grace to obey and serve
God, so that I will spend my
days in prosperity and my years
in pleasure in Jesus’ name.

Scripture Reading: Proverbs
15:13–15
“A merry heart maketh a
cheerful countenance: but by
sorrow of the heart the spirit
is broken. The heart of him that
hath understanding seeketh
knowledge: but the mouth of
fools feedeth on foolishness.
All the days of the afflicted
are evil: but he that is of a
merry heart hath a continual
feast.”
The Blessing that Overtakes
When you meet or know someone
who is full of cheerfulness, it
brings a smile to your face and
joy to your environment. When
you are around someone who is in
perpetual sorrow, you see that
their spirit is broken and they
spread that depression to
others. I pray today, in the
name of Jesus, that God will
give to us an appreciation for
the need to have a merry heart,
so that our countenance will be
cheerful.
The Bible says that he who has a
merry heart “hath a continual
feast” (Prov 15:15). In these
days of diet, exercise, and
weight loss where the problem
really is not what to eat but
what not to eat, this
Bible passage may seem like it
is not relevant. But have a
“continual feast” does not only
mean physical food, but
spiritual food as well. When
your heart is joyful, when you
have a merry heart, when you
have cheerfulness, you have what
is called serene joyfulness. Not
just excitement, but serene
joyfulness. That is what you
call a flourishing person. I
pray that God will cause us all
to flourish in Jesus’ name. May
God give us the grace to
flourish and have that serene
joyfulness, so that we will be
called cheerful people. There
was a time when Christians were
called happy people. Now there
is so much sorrow that it is
tough to tell if someone is a
Christian or not. I pray that
the Words of God, “be of good
cheer I have overcome the world”
(John 16:33), become true in our
generation.
When you have a merry heart, you
will have a cheerful
countenance, and then you will
be cheerful because of the
Lord’s goodness to you. Yes, you
are alive, you can hear, and you
can eat. You can take in the
Word of God. You can hear hope
and believe in God. There is a
lot to be thankful for. Count
your blessings and name them one
by one and it will surprise you
what the Lord has done. When you
have cheerfulness, then you will
have confidence. A happy person
is a confident person. I pray in
the name of Jesus that God will
give you the grace to value
cheerfulness.
Beloved, the Word of God says
that we should manifest
cheerfulness even in our
giving. When somebody is giving
something to you with pain in
their countenance, you hesitate
to take it. Some parents give
money to their children
grudgingly, and their children
complain that it is almost
painful to approach their
parents. I pray that we will
practice cheerful giving, not
only outside but also inside our
families. The Word of God states
clearly that the Lord loves a
cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7). If
you want God to be happy with
you as you give to Him, then
give cheerfully.
Cheerfulness also comes from
being in the Lord’s presence.
When the Lord is there, there is
a joy that no one else can
understand. Cheerfulness comes
when you have victory. “Be of
good cheer, I have overcome the
world (John 16:33).” That is
victory indeed. If the world is
depressing you today, the Lord
is saying to be of good cheer
because He has overcome it. Do
you think He does not care about
you? It is for that reason that
you are hearing the message of
cheerfulness today. I pray a
serene joyfulness into your
life. I pray that God will give
you such cheerfulness that it
will transmit into the way you
interact with people around you.
I pray that the joy of the Lord
will be your strength. I pray
that the joy of the Lord will
manifest in every area of your
life and as you give cheerfully,
you will begin to blossom and
flourish. Walk in cheerfulness
so that the blessing can burst
forth in your life. Be of good
cheer for He has overcome the
world.
Prayer
Points:
Are you are reading this and
realize that you have not at any
time given your life to Jesus?
You cannot have serene
joyfulness and flourish without
Jesus Christ in your life. So
pray with me and say, “Dear Lord
Jesus, I surrender my life to
you. Write my name in the Book
of Life and give me the grace to
flourish in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
