 Scripture Reading: Romans 8:11

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Revive Us Again

Father, I pray for a divine revival, a divine “ raising up” by the Living God for His people who are crying out, looking for Him.

Many of us need to be “raised up.” Father God wants us to come out of the tombs where we have locked ourselves, to come out from the grave and be alive again. What is it that should “raise up”? That which is lying down, but should be standing; that which is low, but should be at a high level; that which is being humiliated, cast down, and brought to the ground should be raised up. That which is troubled, but should be peaceful; that which has gone from glory to shame, but should have gone from glory to glory; that which has fallen, but should be rebuilt should be raised up. Our expectations of God should be raised up. Why do we allow our circumstances to dictate how we see God, instead of declaring who God is to our circumstances? Our spirit man needs to be raised up. Many of us are depressed, confused, and overwhelmed; we do not know what to do. God is saying that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will raise you up today.

Jesus can do this for us because He went through all that we are now going through. He experienced it so He can empathize with us. He knows what you are going through, knows all about your troubles. During the week of the passion, the Lord experienced every challenge imaginable to man. One friend betrayed Him, another denied Him, and His race rejected Him. Furthermore, He and God were estranged and separated. He was alone. He was whipped, hung on a cross, and cursed. Nails pierced His feet and hands. A crown of thorns pierced His head. He thirst, and they gave Him vinegar.

All these things were done so that we could be raised up. The shed blood of Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, which caught us in our sins. The nails in His hands were working out deliverance for you and me. The nails in His feet were working out the path of peace. The stripes that He endured were to deliver us from sickness. His death bought us a lifestyle of deliverance. Jesus went through all of this for you and me. He died and was buried, but on the third day, the Holy Spirit of God raised Him up. Jesus ascended into Heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty where He is forever making intercession for you and me.

Oh how Jesus loves us, God loves us, and the Holy Spirit loves us. That same Spirit is here today to raise you up in all the areas you have fallen. You used to pray; now you cannot pray at all. Do not worry, you will be raised up and your prayer level will be elevated. You used to praise, but now there is no real song in your spirit. God will pour a new song in your spirit today because the same Spirit that raised our Lord Jesus Christ will raise you up today. He is able to deliver you, to redeem you from the curse.

Give your life to Jesus. Walk with Him in a new way, and you will discover that He will raise you up. Let not your enemy rejoice that you are lying down. You have fallen, but God will raise you up according to His Word.

Prayer Points:

Lord, there are many who are oppressed by sickness that they cannot even describe: sickness of the body, of the spirit, and of the soul. I pray for their divine healing. Father God Almighty, I lift up your people before you today. Pour your Spirit into my life and quicken my mortal body. Revive my spirit man. I pray that you be glorified and magnified in my life according to your Word. Raise me up to the glory of your holy name, in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 13

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity” (1 Cor 13:13).

Charity

Father God, we give you glory and honor. We adore you and give you the highest praise. Thank you for your counsel and everlasting fatherhood. Lord, you tell us clearly in your Word to love our neighbor as ourselves. How can we do this, except we receive insight from you?

Today we examine charity and love in 1 Corinthians 13, the “love chapter” of the Bible: “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophecy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

Charity means love. Love is above all the gifts of the Spirit and today we are talking about the unconditional love of God called agape. I pray that agape be given to us in our spirit man, so that we will be able to love our neighbors as ourselves. How is it possible to manifest this kind of love with today’s “everyman for himself, God for us all” attitude? What are the virtues of the kind of love our Lord Jesus Christ commanded? Agape love has fourteen main attributes: it suffers long, is kind, does not envy, is not puffed up and does not vaunt itself, does not behave unseemly, does not seek her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, rejoices not in iniquity, rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

The God kind of love—charity—never fails. Let us mature in love today. Let us upgrade to agape love, the kind of love that will manifest all these virtues. When we were children we were only able to practice eros, romantic love, or philos, the love for family members. But the Bible tells us to outgrow childish things and get to the real experience of love, the God kind of love. The question is: How can we give to someone else what we do not have? That is why the Lord said in His famous instruction: Love your neighbor as yourself. First you must love yourself, and then you can love someone else. Because it is impossible to manifest what you do not know, if you do not practice charity, unconditional love towards yourself, you cannot give it to others. I pray that you will experience agape love and that God will give you the grace to appreciate the need to manifest the virtues laid out in 1 Corinthians 13.

Prayer Points:

Father God, may the spirit of kindness come into our lives in a new way, that we will rejoice when we show kindness. Lord, I pray that you will deliver each one of us from the spirit of envy that harasses our soul. Deliver us from the need to be puffed up, that the spirit that vaunted it will go. Father God, I pray that you will deliver us from behaving unseemly and from being selfish. We humble ourselves before you and ask in Jesus’ name that you will help us to understand what it means to be patient. We ask for the grace to be longsuffering and patient. Lord God Almighty, help us not to be provoked and not to think on evil. Father, give us the grace to rejoice not in iniquity, but in truth, that we bear all things, believe all things in the Word, hope all things, and endure all things.

Father, give each one of us a divine revelation of agape love: the unconditional God kind of love. Lord you have shown it to us by dying for us. Give us the grace to experience it, to understand it, and to live it in Jesus’ name, for when we experience that love, we will be able to give it out. I pray that charity will be our portion and we will operate that way from now on in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Matthew 20:20–23

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, “Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.”

Prepared Placement

Lord, we glorify your holy name and thank you for being a Father who prepares a place for His children. God prepares our position in life, yet many times we lobby for something else, like the mother of Zebedee’s children who asked that her sons sit on the right hand and left hand of the Kingdom.

Every position, everything you are looking for, and everything you are meant to receive is prepared for you. If something is not yours and you are asking for it, you are essentially trespassing. That is why you need to pray the Lord’s Prayer: “O Lord, forgive me my trespasses.” When you lobby for positions that are not your own, when you push yourself into ministries to which God did not send you, you are in fact trespassing. There is a difference between what has been prepared for you and what you are forcing yourself into. We sometimes waste our time with assignments that were not given, designed, or prepared for us. When doors do not open, we recognize that things are tough but think we are suffering for Christ. When someone has been prepared for a position, every fiber in their being has been prepared to function in that office. No one can do this work like they can because the work was divinely prepared for them.

Beloved, stop coveting roles that are not yours, stop comparing yourself and your role to your neighbor, because there are different preparations required for different positions. In your prepared place, the realm of the extraordinary, the realm of the miracle is available. Goodness and mercy will follow you there and living waters will flow over your soul there. God prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemy in His prepared place for you.

The mother of those ambitious sons lobbied for high posts in the Kingdom, but the Lord used her to deliver the revelation that there are certain places prepared for certain people. Let your ambition for other people’s positions come to an end. Let your emulation and comparison come to and end. Focus now on the place God has prepared for you because it is the place of your blessing. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jer 29:11). That expected end is a good end because God Himself prepared it for you.

Some of you probably need to change jobs because you know where you are sitting belongs to your friend. Some of you need to change husbands; you need to get out of that relationship where you threw out another woman to fit in. Some of you have to leave those popular high profile assignments and activities alone because you have taken someone else’s role. Your own stage is set and empty, waiting for you. No one else can stay there, no lobbying can take your job, and no opposition can succeed against it, because that place has been prepared for you.

Wouldn’t it be lovely if we all worked in the realm that God has prepared for us? Deliver yourself from inordinate ambitions that are not your own, from foolish lobbying, from the places that God has not prepared for you. Being in the wrong place leads to diversion and diversion leads to destruction. Being in the right place leads to righteousness, focus, promotions, blessings, and eternal life.

Prayer Points:

I stand in awe of you Lord. I thank you because your thoughts for us are of peace and not of evil. Bless me with peace in the knowledge that you have prepared a place for me at every stage. Let me not miss where you have prepared for me because of what I think I want. Lead me to that place where all grace will abound to me. I read in this passage that you prepare places and positions for people, and because you do that, I pray that you divinely locate me to the family, to the ministry, to the work, to the school you have prepared for me. I also pray for my children, Lord, that you will send them to the schools that you have prepared for them so that when they arrive they will recognize it in their spirit and all grace will abound unto them. Father, deliver me from my ambitious distractions that divert, from inordinate ambitions, from everything that troubles me, in Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.

This direction is possible when you are born again so if you are not born again, pray now and say, “Lord, forgive me my sins and accept me as your child. I surrender my life to you and ask that you lead me Lord to the places you have prepared for me. Let me not miss any one of them in Jesus’ name.”

April 4

Scripture Reading: John 14:1–3

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

No Troubled Heart

Our Lord is encouraging us not to be troubled. The only way your heart can stay untroubled is to put it in the fear of God, and the only way to do this is to read His Word. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee” (Isa 26:3). Stay your heart on the Word of God. When the usual problems come forth, raise the standard of the Word of God against them. Walk in the miraculous by escaping to the Word of God.

Your journey from earth to heaven is filled with prepared places. God is in the business of preparing you and in preparing a place for you. Every path that you have walked as the sheep of the Living God is a place God prepared for you before you were born. He prepared your mother’s womb, a location for you to be born safely, schools for you to attend, food for you to eat, and a way of escape from the enemy who sets traps for you. The same Lord who prepared His word and presented it you to feed your physical and spiritual body, remains in the business of preparation.

The Master Preparer has prepared all of your experiences in this life and is also preparing a mansion for you at your ultimate destination with Him. Look at your present situation as being in a transit camp where you have to do the best you can while you are there. God says that you should not let your heart be troubled. Accept that this season in your life will be trouble-free because you have set your heart on the things He has prepared for you and on the things above. God prepared the office you are now in before you were born. Lots of people can go to a job interview, but the one for whom the position has been prepared is selected. When you find your prepared place and take it, no one else will be able to sit where you sit. God is a God of order. If we walk in the places He has prepared for us and set our mind on our ultimate destination, we can rest in the knowledge that many of the things troubling us are not worthy of our worry. A couple was asked the secret to keeping their fifty-year marriage strong. The husband said, “When we got married we decided that as the man, I will have final say on every big decision and that my wife will handle all of the small decisions.” The interviewer turned to the wife and said, “Wow, you agreed with every major decision he made?” She just smiled, and the husband said, “In fifty years there haven’t been any major decisions. There have only been small issues so far so there has been no debate, no argument, and no disagreement. That’s how we’ve made it so far.”

Set your mind on the things above and live in the knowledge that every matter on earth is small stuff. Agree to obey Jesus, who said, “Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1). If you believe in Jesus, you will not allow your heart to be troubled. Alarming developments will occur in your life journey, but what is alarming to you is not alarming to Jesus. Jesus did not find the storm and the raging sea alarming; there is nothing on earth that He finds alarming. Use all of your strength to factor Him into every situation so that you can stop the struggles in your life. Believe that Jesus will take care of any problem for you. He who is able to calm the storm, to speak to the wind, to walk on water can overcome any problem in your life. Magnify Him and let not your heart be troubled for He will do great things in your life. He says “behold the day come when I will perform that good thing that I have spoken concerning you.” I decree that these days will be days of good things. Walk in the realm of the miraculous. Expect good things to happen and that expectation will become your reality.

Beloved, the Lord is preparing a place for you. The Lord who prepared yesterday, is preparing today and will prepare tomorrow, so let not your heart be troubled. You are saved, you are covered, you are spoken for, and you are taken care of by the Master Himself.

Prayer Points:

Father God, I thank you because you are awesome and your faithfulness is forevermore. I glorify your holy name and thank you because you have assured me that I should not be troubled by anything because you have given me the faith to believe in you. Lord God, deliver me from troubling myself so that I will not get into tribulation in Jesus’ name.

If you have never given your life to Jesus, it is impossible to live a life without troubles. Align yourself with the Prince of Peace now and receive that which has been promised you. Pray now and say, “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you and ask that you bless me with your Holy Spirit. Give me the born-again experience so I may join those who will not be troubled because they believe in you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

April 5

Scripture Reading: 2 Thessalonians 1:5–10; 3:2–3, 16

“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you” (2 Thess 1:6).

Tribulations to My Troublers

God Almighty is ready to do a work in your name that will make a reality of His Fatherhood more manifest to you than ever before. God is faithful in making sure that you are delivered from all kinds of trouble. He is also faithful in recompensing tribulation to them who trouble you. The Lord wants you to know that He sees your work for Him and will righteously recompense tribulation to your troublemakers. Decree the Word of God to whoever or whatsoever is troubling you now; decree the Word of God to that situation and decree that tribulation will be recompensed to the troubler of Israel in the name of Jesus. Let tribulation be the portion of the one who is troubling the peace of the children of God.

The Lord God Almighty knows that there are unreasonable and wicked men in the world.  Prayer is our weapon against them. In His righteousness, God will send tribulation to those who trouble you. He also calls for prayer warfare against the troubles of the enemy. When you acknowledge that God is your all in all, that He is your total weapon of warfare, that His Word is a lamp unto your feet and the sword of your spirit, you must use His Word to attain deliverance from unreasonable and wicked men.

Beloved, not everybody you see is a believer like you, not every person you see even in the church fears God or has the faith. There are men who are unreasonable: they do not have the ability to reason and therefore they act unreasonably. Others just have wickedness entrenched in their heart and are incapable of righteousness and mercy. The only treatment for these people is to turn them over to God, who will take care of them as He says in His Word.

Take the time today to study 2 Thessalonians. Study it and understand that God knows what you are going through. Read the first three chapters and pray that the God of peace will give you peace always and by all means.

Prayer Points:

Father God I thank you because you are my all in all. You are beautiful beyond description. I thank you because you are our Mighty Warrior, the one who is great in the battles of our lives. Our Jehovah, my covenant Father, my Everlasting Father, the Father who will not die, glory be to your holy name. Father, I thank you for the blessings you have poured into my life and for the daily benefits of being in your Kingdom. Lord, I ask that you take control of every area of my life and fight against all that fights against me. Take hold of your shield and buckler, Oh Lord, and stand up for me, because you are my all in all. I thank you Father that you listen to warfare prayers. In the mighty name of my Lord Jesus Christ, recompense tribulation for all who trouble me globally. Oh Lord, whatever means are required for my peace, Father I ask for them now. Father, in the name of Jesus, deliver me from the wicked; deliver me from the unreasonable. I pray in Jesus’ name that every satanic giant standing against me will fall like Goliath. Let all diviners and enchanters fall after the order of Balak. I hereby bind and set ablaze every spirit of destruction against my marriage, my children, and my family, in the name of Jesus. I pray that all Pharaohs, all unreasonable and wicked men perish in the red sea in the name of Jesus. Let all my Herods be devoured by spiritual worms in the name of Jesus. Father God Almighty, release your wonder-working power in my life, in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Beloved, warfare prayers such as these are valid for all who are the children of God and are born again. Are you born again? Are you filled with the Spirit of God? If you are not, pray now and say, “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you, write my name in the Book of Life and give me the born-again experience. Deliver me from evil in Jesus’ name I pray.

April 6

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:7–10

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers [diverse] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.”

Working of Miracles

How can we work miracles and why is it necessary? First Corinthians 12 says God gave the gift of the working of miracles. The Bible did not say He gave the gift of miracles; it says He gave the gift of the working of miracles. You have probably experienced a miracle from God—something you were hoping for but felt would not happen without God’s intervention. Suddenly, God comes through and it is done. You did not work this miracle; God did. But because you are made in His image and because He wants you to manifest His attributes and the gifts He has given you, God loves for His children to work miracles. God truly wants you to be a miracle worker.

When you understand how to work for God, you will begin to experience the miraculous in your life. Once you master this pathway, the extraordinary will become a reality in your life and the supernatural will perpetually be your portion. You have the gift of working miracles within, but positive actions are required on your part for it to become a reality. First, you must have the attributes of those who work in the realm of the miraculous. You must be the Lord’s sheep. You cannot work a miracle if you have not surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. You must also be hungry for a miracle—you do not cook food if you are not ready to eat. Are you hungry for an upgrade, ready to expand your mind, ready to exercise your faith, and set your mind on the things above?

When you have all these attributes, it is time for action to prepare for the working of miracles. First, you need to write down the vision of the miracle you want, and make it plain. If, for example, you want to build a house or set up an industry or a ministry, write the vision down. You have to write it beyond what your mind sees as practical, beyond your ability. In order to see beyond your reality, you have to resolve to renew your mind. In certain cultures, like the United States, when people say, “You’re out of your mind,” it is a polite way of saying, “You’re mad!” Yes, you have to be willing to be considered crazy when you want to work a miracle because the vision you write down must be beyond your head, beyond your capabilities. When you write that vision and make it plain, you have to recognize that you need an expanded mind. You have to understand that the miracle is too big for you to conceptualize. At this point, you must renew your mind by first praying for the Lord to take you out your natural mind and place in you HHiHisHis supernatural mind. Then you must read the Word. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil 2:5). You have to get to the place where you can say, “Lord, grant me the mind which was in Christ Jesus. Take my natural mind out and put in the supernatural mind so that I will begin to think like God, think on great things.”

Once you have a new mind, you must keep it renewed by the Word of God. Maintain the God-mind you now have with the Word of God, which will flow in to water it, make it fertile, give you ideas, and cause things to work together for good. You are now ready to begin to “work out” in the miraculous. To “work out” means to exercise and just as you physically work out to gain strength or maintain a new figure, you have to do spiritual exercises to create and maintain a new spiritual lifestyle. When you begin, say to yourself, these are “minimum” exercises. For the renewing and expansion of your mind, read one book of the Bible and worship at least thirty minutes each day. Pray at least one hour a day, praying the Word you just read, so you are totally soaked with the mind of Christ. Now you are equipped to expect miracles and to act on the miraculous visions you have written down. Our Faithful God will cause this to be a reality in your life. God gave the gifts of the working of miracles (1 Cor 12:10), and you can manifest this in your reality by soaking yourself in Him and taking action upon His Word.

Prayer Points:

Father God, we thank you for the promises in your Word that you will perform good things for your children. Let this become a reality in our realm and in our lives, in Jesus’ name. Lord I pray that you give me the grace to understand how to work a miracle. Grant me the mind of Christ and help me to see things outside of my normal scope of vision. Expand my mind, Oh Lord, so that I can see what you have ordained for me. Help me to accept the reality of unlimited possibilities. Guide me in my prayer and worship of you, Oh mighty Lord, so that I am honoring you the way you desire to be honored. Give me the vision to see the miracles you have in store for me so that I can manifest your attributes and activate them in my life, in Jesus’ name I pray.

April 7

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:7

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”

A Life of Miracles

What is a miracle? A miracle is when the natural is suspended and the supernatural takes over. A miracle is when God, by His power, overrules the natural and superimposes on it the supernatural. It is not natural for eyes that have been blind and plucked out to see again, but God can place His supernatural hand on that eye, restore it, and it will see again. A miracle is when the natural is displaced by the supernatural and the ordinary is enhanced by the extraordinary. To experience a miracle, you must be on the lookout; you must be ready to walk in the realm of the supernatural, in the realm of the extraordinary.

A miracle is an extraordinary event attributed to some supernatural agency. I am talking about the miracle that can only be attributed to the power of the Holy Spirit, to which we are entitled through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. A miracle is usually a remarkable occurrence, something outstanding and extraordinary. A miracle is always an object of wonder. David was able to say, “I am as a wonder unto many” (Ps 71:7) How many of us can say, “When people look at me, they behold a wonder because I am full of miracles”? That is the realm God wants you and me to walk in. Miracles manifest the healing of every realm: emotional, physical, financial, family life, and all the areas that have been destroyed in the natural. As you begin to walk in the realm of miracles, you will begin to experience the suspension of the natural for the supernatural, the suspension of the ordinary for the extraordinary. May God make you a person who is full of wonders, remarkable and extraordinary. This is what God intends for you, so receive it in the name of Jesus. Beloved, miracles are a reality. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:10 that God gave to us the gift of “the working of miracles,” so we are biblically empowered to covet this spiritual gift.

To walk in the realm of miracles, you have to tell the Lord that you are ready for a miracle. You have to change your attitude from that of a natural operator to that of a supernatural operator, from an ordinary operator to an extraordinary operator. You have to be ready for excellence and ready to manifest the excellence of God. When God says, “walk before me, and be thou perfect,” He is calling you to upgrade your walk so that you will begin to walk in the realm of the supernatural. The only way to do this is to resolve to walk before God. God said to His friend Abraham, “I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Gen 17:1). When you walk before God, you walk in the realm of perfection, the extraordinary, and the supernatural. I pray that God will give you the grace to resolve to walk before God, that the natural will be suspended and the supernatural will reign in your life.

When we walk before God, by the grace of His anointing and His presence, and according to His Word, He will evolve us into perfection. Walking in perfection is walking in the realm of the supernatural, because it is not natural for any human being to be perfect. And when the light of God is upon you, your appearance changes. When you spend time in the presence of God, you begin to glow. I pray that God in His mercy will upgrade you to begin to walk in the realm of the miraculous.

Prayer Points:

Father I thank you for the power that is in your presence. I pray that today you take me into your presence, that I will begin to view things under the light of your presence and receive revelations there. Father I pray that expectations in all I do will be expectations of the miraculous. I pray that you will renew my mind today and give me the grace to begin to operate in the realm of the miraculous. Yes Lord, your business on earth was mainly manifested in miracles. The miracles you implemented while you were on earth are innumerable. We thank you Lord, because everyday you are still doing new miracles. You sit at the right hand of the Father God Almighty but your Spirit, your power, your presence on earth is still working miracles in the lives of those who resolve to walk with you. Father, I am ready for a miracle. I am tired of the ordinary and ready for the extraordinary; tired of the natural and ready for the supernatural; tired of mediocrity and ready for excellence. I want to be an outstanding specimen of the human being, a mobile miracle. I want to be identified as someone who is full of wonders, someone who is evolving into perfection. Father God Almighty, in the name of Jesus, anoint me and soak me from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet with your anointing. Place me in your presence and let me begin to work before you in the realm of miracles.

April 8

Scripture Reading: Psalm 115:9–15

“Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield” (Ps 115:11).

In God’s Image

God says that He will bless them that fear the Lord, that He will bless the house of Israel, and that He will bless the house of Aaron (Ps 115:12). When God says something three times, He is confirming it from heaven, confirming it on earth, and confirming it in our reality. God is speaking to the children of Israel, to those who have been grafted in by the shed blood of Jesus. In Psalm 115, God says that He is our help and our shield. He is promising you today, oh believer who fears the Lord, that He will bless you. Today, God says to you that He will bless you, oh child of Israel. He says He will increase you, more and more, you and your children, for you are the blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth (Ps 115:14–15).

Why will God increase you? God will increase you because He said so. If He said it and He wrote it down, it is done. If you were God, to whom would you give things? Wouldn’t you give gifts to your children, the ones who fear you? Wouldn’t you give gifts to your priests, the ones who minister unto you? Wouldn’t you give gifts to those who have come into your family? That is what God is doing in this time.

How does God increase? He increases you “more and more,” which means that what you have now will be increased. Your spirituality will be increased; your resources will be increased. Increase with God means true increase, it does not mean taking from bank account A and putting it into account B. Increase means universal increase before God and with God. When God says, “shall increase you more and more, you and your children,” (Ps 115:14), He is giving His Word that He is going to cause a divine download of blessings to reach you. You will receive these blessings in the name of Jesus because God has purposed to give you a present, as you are the blessed of the Lord.

Being the blessed of the Lord means you are the enabled of the Lord. There are people who have blessings in their realms but they have not been enabled to receive them. When you are the blessed of the Lord, you are enabled by the Lord to spiritually, physically, psychologically, and emotionally receive—body, soul, and spirit—all the good things God has promised. These things that God has promised already exist, and it is up to you to make them a part of your reality.

Beloved, are you ready for the increase? Open up your heart now and pray to God that He, in the name of Jesus, will loose the spirit of prosperity over your life spiritually and physically and emotionally in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Points:

Father, I thank you because the tomb is empty and you live. I thank you Father God Almighty because you are my Redeemer and you are the one who comes to salvage me again and again. Only the living can save the living, and Lord, you have kept me alive by your redemption. Lord, I thank you for your redemptive plan and your action that are ever-present in my life. In the name of Jesus, I decree breakthroughs in my life. I decree financial, physical, spiritual, professional, and marital breakthroughs in the name of Jesus. I speak into the camp of the enemy and decree that the anointing to destroy stubborn yokes fall upon me, that I will receive the increase that God has promised. I thank you, Father, as I receive it and am blessed. I thank you for enabling me to receive the increase, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Scripture Reading: John 18:1–9

“Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none” (John 18:7–9).

Let These Go Their Way

When the Lord Jesus Christ faced the multitude that came to arrest him in the garden of Gethsemane with their lanterns, torches, and weapons, He did not run away. This was a band of men, yet Jesus did not seek to hide or run even though He must have seen and heard what sounded like an army coming. Rather He went forth and said unto them, “Whom seek ye?” When they told Him that they were looking for Jesus of Nazareth, our Lord said, “I am he.”

As soon as He told them who He was, they went backward and fell to the ground (John 18:6). This did not just happen as a negligible event in the process of the arrest of Jesus. From Philippians 2:10, we know that “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,” so even the band of soldiers that had weapons and torches and lanterns bowed because the Lord Jesus proclaimed who He was. Then He asked them again who they were looking for, to which they responded, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said, “I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way” (John 18:8). By telling the soldiers to “let these go their way,” Jesus confirmed that He is the I Am that I Am, the Ancient of Days, the Savior, the Messiah, the Deliverer, the Redeemer, and that He was pre-negotiating a pre-release for His people. You are among the people in the atonement of the shed blood of Jesus that Jesus pre-negotiated a release at Gethsemane.

When Jesus stood there and said “let these go their way,” He meant for the enemy to let you go, for you to not be taken into bondage. Let all who read this go their own way into holiness, into righteousness, into ministering unto the Lord; into whatever the Lord has called you to do.  Jesus has negotiated that you go your way into prosperity, into peace, and into love by negotiating this pre-release on your behalf. Increase your consciousness of that negotiation at Gethsemane: the negotiation by our Lord Jesus to set you free, for whomever the Son sets free is free indeed. The bands of the enemy, of Satan, have no power to arrest you because Jesus negotiated your pre-release in the garden.

Are you one of those whom Jesus has commanded to be let go on your way into peace, prosperity, joy, harmony, love, breakthroughs, increase, blessings, good days, revelations, and knowledge? Are you going in the way Jesus planned for you when He pre-negotiated your release? If there is anything holding you in bondage, anything troubling you that keeps you from living as Jesus intended, it is time to claim the freedom Jesus negotiated for you.

Prayer Points

Father God, I pray that your Word will work, that it will reign, in my life. I thank you because your Word is powerful, your Word is active, and it works for good. Father I glorify your holy name and even as I read your Word today Oh Lord, let it bring deliverance from anything troubling me. Jesus has set me free, so my enemies have to let me go my way. I super-impose my pre-release at Gethsemane into every situation that is holding me bondage now and I decree that I will go my way into prosperity, into joy, and into all that I am meant to be in Christ Jesus who pre-released me. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 118

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever” (Ps 118:1).

Holiness

Has the Lord blessed you? Then give thanks unto Him for his mercy endures forever. Are you part of the seed of Israel? Have you been grafted in? Are you a child of God? Then proclaim that the mercy of God endures forever. Are you part of the seed of Aaron? Are you a priest? Then rejoice that the mercy of God endureth forever. Do you fear God? Do you factor God into everything you do? Beloved, pronounce that the mercy of God endures forever.

We have called upon God all these days, months, and years, and He has answered us. He has set our feet in a large place, glory be to His name. The Lord is on your side; therefore, you should fear no man. The Lord will take our part with them that love us; therefore we will see our desire upon them that hate us. It is better for you to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, for God will give you the grace to destroy all who are attacking you. The Lord is saying to you today that you will destroy all who “compass [swarm] you like bees” (Ps 118:12) in the name of the Lord. God is telling you that He is your strength and your song; He is your salvation. God has done great things. He has delivered us from many dangers, toils and snares, oppressions and depressions.

Prayer Points

Our Father and our God we thank you for your great love for us. Lord, your love has

made a difference in my life. Accept my thanks for your thoughts for me, which are for peace and not of evil. I glorify your holy name today and I want to say Lord that I agree with all your great plans for me. I pray for the opening of that the realm of salvation, deliverance, peace, prosperity, and all the possibilities in the Lord, for with you, God, nothing shall be impossible. Father God, I pray that you give me the grace to read your Word and receive it into my spirit-man even as I give you glory today, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Scripture Reading: Genesis 45

And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die” (Gen 45:28).

It Is Enough!

Are you going through a trial today? Be encouraged, for Jesus knows about all your troubles. There is no friend like Jesus. He bears your sin and grief, and understands what you are going through. He knows what takes you down, and what brings you back up. Our King of kings, He who has the name above all names, is the greatest friend there is.

Today we will discuss how to turn a trial in your familial relationships into a triumph. We know from Genesis that Joseph’s brothers betrayed him and sold him into slavery out of jealousy. God turned this situation around for good, and caused those same brothers to come to Joseph when they were in need of help. Instead of taking vengeance, Joseph did what a brother should do—even for siblings who have been wicked. In Genesis 45 we see that he was happy to see his brothers, embraced them, and wept. He consoled them, eased their fears, and told them not to worry about betraying him. After embracing them he gave them gifts and asked them to come back and be blessed in the place where he had been blessed, and to bring their father.

When Joseph’s brothers went back to their father Jacob, Jacob similarly was forgiving.  He could have sat down to judge the case, to figure out who did what in the betrayal of Joseph. But when Jacob saw his sons, he did not ask for the details or inquire about what happened. He said simply, yet profoundly, “It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die” (Gen 45:28).

How many people are estranged from their children because they cannot say, “It is enough”? How many are not speaking to their siblings because they cannot behave like Joseph, like Jacob? Today, say to each of your family problems, “It is enough!” The devil has had fun for too long. Know that it is enough you are all yet alive. Be that Joseph and Jacob in your family. If you are a father or a mother, like Jacob, say, “It is enough” to your children. If you are a child and your parents have disappointed or upset you, or your brethren have betrayed or let you down, be willing to forgive like Joseph. Embrace an “it is enough” attitude so you can see one another in love before it is too late.

Joseph and his father Jacob were able to let bygones be bygones and were able to bring this family trial to a triumph. What will be the testimony of your family? Trials come to every family—even Christian families. Learn from Joseph’s blessing of those who spitefully used and hated him. He was able to bless them and even warn them when they were returning home not to fight amongst themselves or apportion blame on his account. He knew the past was the past. Like Joseph, like Jacob, I say enough is enough to your family problems. Be the Joseph, be the Jacob, and endure, forgive, and appreciate the family that God chose for you.

What steps make it possible to say enough is enough? The answer is to factor God into every relationship, into every situation in your life. Joseph and Jacob both factored God into the things they were doing on a daily basis. There is no way you can say let bygones be bygones, unless you factor God into your situation. God chose your family for you and He will cover you in any challenge your family faces. Forgive the enemies in your family. Oh mother, call that daughter today and say it is enough. Father, call your son, sister call your brother, brother call your sister. It is enough.

Prayer Points:

Draw me close to you, Lord God Almighty, and never let me go, for you are all I want and all I need. Help us to know that you are near and that you are our very present help in trouble. Father, I pray that you will give us all the grace, not to merely say we are Christians, but to live out our faith by saying, “It is enough” to family problems. Turn every trial in my family into triumph. Give me the grace to let bygones be bygones in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

If you are not born again, forgiving in this way is beyond your grasp. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can help you overcome this challenge. If you want the Holy Spirit to take over where you fall short, pray and say, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. I want to have my family trials be a testimony to your greatness; I want you to take over my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Scripture Reading: Joel 2:28–32

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call” (Joel 2:32).

Remnant on Mount Zion

Christian, are you one who will call on the name of the Lord today? For the Lord said, in Mount Zion there shall be deliverance. Mount Zion is that place of worship, prayer, and preaching; Mount Zion is the mountain of the Lord. With all of the confusion and tribulations of today, have you retreated into the valley or are you on the mountaintop? Are you praying today? Are you worshiping today? Are you preaching the Word today? Then expect deliverance, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, and as the Lord said, there will be deliverance in the remnant that the Lord will call. Are you among the remnant, one of the people who will remain for God no matter what? The remnant is a spiritual kernel of God’s people.

God oversees a lot of people, but His business is with the lilies, the remnant, the kernel of His fruit. When we examine a piece of fruit like a mango, there is the skin, the flesh that people eat, the seed, and inside the seed there is the kernel. The kernel is the central part, the core, what brings forth new fruit. Are you the kernel, the remnant who brings forth new fruit and whom the Lord has called? Are you part of the flesh, the people who make up the body and are the multitude in the church of God? Or are you just the skin, one who remains on the surface of the Christian faith?

When you are one who has that fruit inside, woe is you if you pray not, preach not, and praise not: you feel empty. Some people can go without God for months and “get to it when they get to it.” Perhaps they are the flesh the world is meant to eat. But if you are part of the remnant, then your very essence is God: your business on earth is God’s business; your interests are His interests. God blesses His church, but you need to have that fruit within so that when you get into your gathering, you are an asset and not a liability. In what state do you go into the house of God? When people go to the hospital, some go as walk-in patients, some arrive by ambulance and are patients in emergency rooms, some work there as nurses, doctors, or surgeons. Do you arrive in church as a patient or as a worker? I pray that God will upgrade you to one who will get on Mount Zion and Jerusalem, one who will be delivered from the plagues of the time, and one who will come in manifesting the fruit. I pray that when you go into an environment, people say, “help has come.” May you be a blessing to others and blossom wherever you go because you are part of the remnant of God. May God keep you on Mount Zion and deliver you from destruction today, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points:

Father I thank you for the powerful Word of Jesus. I thank you that the blood of Jesus is able to cleanse every stain my path in life put upon me. I thank you that the blood of Jesus is able to set me free from sin and sorrow, that it is able to heal, to make me brand new, to open my eyes that I might see things that I have not seen before. I thank you that the blood of Jesus is able to empower me, to give me strength to live from day to day, and that it will never ever lose its power. Lord, keep me on Mount Zion and let me experience deliverance; make me one of your remnant that has your fruit that will blossom and glow forever for you in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Song of Solomon 5:8–16

His Mouth Is Most Sweet

His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem” (Song 5:16).

Who is your beloved? Your beloved is that one who is active in love towards you. Your beloved is not your husband, not your best friend, not your parishioner, not your mother, not your child, not your son or daughter. Your beloved is the one who “actively” manifests and expresses love in action toward you. To be beloved means your love is adorned; it is active. You do not become bejeweled by simply owning jewels; you become bejeweled when you wear the jewels. In the same way, owning love does not mean you are practicing it. When you begin to act out love, you become the beloved. The one who is capable of always acting out love—not thinking love, not being in an “I” mode of love, not being in a state He can love you, but is actively loving you—is the Lord Jesus. He is the one whose mouth is most sweet. He has everlasting love: “having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end” (John 13:1). He did not love them in the morning and hate them in the afternoon, then love them again in the evening. He loved them to the end. That is why He is the Beloved, and that is why He should be your Beloved.

Verse 16 in Song of Solomon says, “His mouth is most sweet.” His mouth is not sweet because He has eaten sugar. It is sweet because it comes forth with words that heal, words that refresh, words that empower. Whenever God thinks of you, His thoughts are of peace and good, because He is your Beloved. Are you seeking Jesus, your Beloved, like the woman in these verses is seeking Him? Have you heard from the Lord today? Have you heard his sweet mouth speak words of love and encouragement to you? Many of us seek love in the wrong places. Instead, seek a revelation of your Beloved by turning to His Word and receiving His Word as gospel to you. Receive His word for direction, refreshment, revival, and healing. Receive His Word because His mouth is sweet.

Come back to God; be reconciled to Him, for He has a store of blessings awaiting your return. If you are not born again, if you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you are missing an experience with the sweetest mouth you can ever kiss, the sweet mouth of Jesus. Beloved, Jesus is your best friend. Stay close to His Word; stay close to Him; stay faithful to Him.

Prayer Points:

Father God you are all we want and all we have ever needed. We came from you and we are going to you on our journey from earth to heaven. If ever I needed you Lord, it is now, for the tempest is raging and the billows are tossing high. The sky is overshadowed with darkness and no shelter is nigh. Hasten and take control of our lives Oh Lord. Father God Almighty, we pray that you work out your excellence in every area. Let excellence manifest in my relationship with you, one with another, and in every area of my life. You are all I want; help me to know you are near. Father, let me reap the benefits of your sweet mouth. Give me the understanding and realization of your beloved nature, give me the revelation of your Word, and bless me with the experience an active relationship with my Beloved whose mouth is most sweet, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 30:15–22

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” (Isa 30:21).

This is the Way

Beloved, wouldn’t it be wonderful to hear the voice of the Lord, the voice of the Master speaking to you, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left”?

Getting direction is a necessity in life. Many of us are at a crossroads. We need clear direction from the Living God as to which way to go, when to turn, and when to stand still. But how can a Christian in this generation get this direction when molten images of silver and ornaments of gold are diverting us? Most of the time, the counsel we receive is based on the bottom line. We want to know how much money can we get? What is the financial implication of this direction? How much am I going to be paid? What is my time worth? All too often the dollar, the gold, the silver is what we worship.

Those who have walked that path and have seen the gold and silver know that it is a dead end. Even those who have attained financial wealth, more than they can count, still need direction. They ask, “Now what?” Those who have not yet found the gold and silver say, “Let me find the gold and silver first, then I can say, ‘now what?’” I tell you it is better to get divine direction now, so you will find the gold and silver and all else that you need to be what you came to earth to be. We are on a journey; we came here for a purpose; we are here to accomplish a divine assignment. For a divine assignment, you need divine direction, and God is saying to you, “Seek me early, include me in your plan, talk to me, rely on me.” Wise men like Job miss Him when they cannot find Him, and they seek His voice: “Oh that I knew where I might find him . . . I would order my cause before him” (Job 23:3–4). Wise men seek God’s direction. We are also told, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Ps 37:23). But sometimes that voice has been clouded by matters arising in our mind that are diversionary not directional. If we are to receive the most current direction for our most current situation, we must walk with Him daily so that we recognize His voice as He tells us to go forward or stand still, go to the right or to the left.

Do you want to hear the voice of God giving you direction in your life? Oh what a wonderful place to be, to hear the voice of God saying, “This is the way to go!”

Prayer Points:

Father, you are mighty and you are merciful. We thank you for your faithfulness. We thank you that your thoughts are higher than our thoughts, that you are in such a high place that your vision concerning the matters arising in our lives is clear. Lord I pray that you will take me to that high place where only your wonderful counsel and excellent working is available. King of kings, your Word says your sheep hear your voice and they follow, that they will not follow another voice (John 10:4–5). Father I want to hear your voice today that I may follow it alone. I cover my spiritual ears with the blood of Jesus and flush away every noise—silver, gold, ego, fame—that is making it difficult to hear your voice today. Without your direction I am lost. Father God, let me hear that voice today that I might receive divine direction, in the name of Jesus.

April 15

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 28:26–29

“This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working” (Isa 28:29).

Wonderful Counsel

Our God is a God of honor and purpose, a God who will instruct us in the way that we should go. Many of us are ignorant in the matters concerning our lives, so we need God to teach us. As the above verses illustrate, proper tools are needed to get the proper results. God is the right tool to provide you with counsel and direction. When God counsels, He brings forth wonders into your life. He will cause people to look in wonder at what God has created from the confusion in your life. God can counsel wonderfully because His name is Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of Peace, because He is Jesus, your Savior, and your salvation. God’s counsel is much more extensive than that of man, who leaves you to implement advice on your own. God’s advice will bring about a life full of wonders, because when He finishes counseling, He then works out the results in a manner where the excellence in His wonderful counsel is made a reality.

Isaiah 11:2 says “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” Stop calling your friends for advice; read the Word, and get on your knees. Ask God to direct you to the place in His Word that will give you the counsel you need. Do not just close your eyes and open the Bible, but deliberately open it and keep reading. The Lord will meet you when you are ready for Him. Some open their Bible to any page, and say that whatever is on that page is what God meant for them to read that day. Not so: this is simply the page where you opened! Instead, when you are seeking counsel from God, get on your knees, pray, and read the Word from one Scripture to another. He will counsel you wonderfully and show His excellence in working.

God is available to counsel you on how to bring up your children properly, how to excel in the works of your hands, what to continue doing and what to shutdown. Pray that God will counsel you in your workplace, in relationship matters, and on issues of the heart.

Prayer Points:

I thank you, Almighty God, because you are the one who is able to cause all grace to abound. Father God, I pray that you will lead me on with your wonderful counsel and help me to discern the issues, diversions, distractions, decisions, questions, and challenges in my life. I need your intervention, your revelation, and your wonderful counsel. Lord I glorify your holy name because your Word is clear in its description of your ability as the God who is excellent in working and wonderful in counsel. Just as you counseled Solomon by giving him direction and wisdom, I need your counsel today for the matters arising in my life. May your wonderful counsel cause my confusion to resolve into a wonder. Father, work out excellence in my body, soul, spirit, and in my ministry, family, and relationships. In your love and in your mercy, I need to know what to do and I thank you for providing counsel as you said in your Word, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you are not born again, there is no way the counsel of God can reach you. If you want Jesus as your personal Savior, pray now and say, “I surrender my life to Jesus and accept Him as my Lord and Savior. May the Spirit of God come upon me and bless me with the ability to receive wonderful counsel and excellent working from the Living God in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

April 16

Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 3

“Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it” (Neh 3:1).

Build Up the Gates I

Today we focus on lifting up the gates. Elsewhere we discuss lifting up the gates and accordingly the veils that plugged our ears causing us not to see, hear, or understand correctly since our heart was gated. May God give you the grace to lift up the gates that the King of Glory may come in.

Besides lifting up the gates as they personally affect us, there are certain things we need to do in order to lift up the gates so that the King of Glory will come in internally in our ministry to the Lord. Nehemiah 3 details the different realms or types of gates that were rebuilt to restore glory to the King. These gates must be addressed for the King of Glory to be reconciled to His bride in this time. If we want to work for the Lord Jesus, we must first build up the sheep gate, which is the flock of Jesus Christ. We must work to rebuild the flock so that the King’s glory will come into His sheep by ministering to the saints.

The second gate to which Nehemiah refers is the fish gate. The fish gate represents evangelism, fishing for the souls of men. We are to reach out to the lost, catch the fish, and bring them into the Kingdom of God. Jesus said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matt 4:19). When you build the fish gate and lift it up for Jesus to come in, you are in the realm of evangelism and are ministering to His sheep.

The third gate is the old gate, and this ministry raises biblical standards. It raises the broken edges—the broken down standards—that will help build up the Kingdom of God in the name of Jesus in your generation.

The fourth gate is the valley gate. This gate symbolizes the need to reach out to those who are downtrodden, depressed, have fallen in the valley, and on whom everything just falls because they are down at the bottom. When you rebuild them, when you lift them up, the King of Glory will come into their lives and you have given an offering to the Lord.

The fifth gate is the dung gate. The dung gate is reaching out to those who have been abandoned and cast out of society; those who have been regarded as dung in society and in the body of Christ. When you reach out to them and rebuild the dung gate, by the grace of God, those who have fallen will rise again and minister to God.

The sixth gate is the fountain gate, the gate of those who pour out in ministry. Those who minister for the Lord Jesus are very much in need of encouragement, help, and strength. Pray that the Father will help ministers to rebuild the fountain gate so that the fountain, the people who pour out, will be encouraged and that their hands will be lifted up in the name of Jesus.

The horse gate is the seventh gate, for those who are out communicating, reaching out door to door. The horse is the mover and refers to those who move out and reach out through media ministries such as radio, television, newspaper, magazine, and Internet ministries.

Prayer Points:

I pray that God will give us the grace to lift up the gates. Let us rebuild the sheep gate, reaching out to the flock of Christ that has been saved; the fish gate, reaching out to those who are lost, who need to come into the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; the old gate, raising up the standard; the valley gate, helping those who are downtrodden who have fallen into the valley; the dung gate, reaching out to the rejects of the society; the fountain gate, reaching out to those in ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ; and the horse gate, those who move around all over to communicate, in Jesus’ name, amen.

April 17

Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 3

“After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Sheckaniah, the keeper of the east gate” (Neh 3:29).

Build Up the Gates II

Nehemiah’s ninth gate is the east gate. The east gate is where the King of Glory Himself will come in. This gate is built last, because when all the other gates are built the east gate will be revealed and there, the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, will come forth. The sun rises from the east, and that is the gate that invites Jesus to come in once all the other gates have been built up.

Seek out the coming of Jesus. Ask for the grace to build up the sheep gate, fish gate, old gate, valley gate, dung gate, fountain gate, and horse gate, so that the east gate will be built up and wide open for the Son of God to arise and pour His glory on those who have been working for Him. Are you working for Jesus or are you just idle in the marketplace? I pray that God will give you the grace to connect to one of these ministries.

Will you connect to the sheep gate where you reach out to the flock, saving souls who need encouragement and exhortation? Are you rebuilding the fish gate through evangelism by catching fish for the Kingdom? Are you being called to the old gate where you work to raise old biblical standards by closing up back doors, repairing jagged edges, and fixing broken down standards that cause people to fall? Or, maybe your ministry is the valley gate where you reach out to people who are down, depressed, and have fallen in the valley? Could it be the dung gate where you reach out to the outcasts who are regarded as the dung in society and in the body of Christ? What can you do to raise up the fountain gate, to minister to ministers who pour out and need personal encouragement and support? Or will you rebuild the horse gate by moving out into the media to build the Kingdom?

What will you do to help rebuild the gates in preparation of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ? Pray that God will give you the grace to lift up the gate of outreach in any of these different dimensions.

Prayer Points:

Dear Lord Father God I thank you because in your love, although you are so great, you condescend to talk with us, to walk with us, to make us joint heirs with you, to give us the privilege of calling your name. O Lord Jesus, I thank you. I thank you because you love me so greatly, so deeply, so widely. We thank you because we know, although we don’t deserve it, you still shower your love upon us because your nature is love. Give me the grace to love you more, to serve you more; to obey you and give you pleasure. For you created us and the purpose of our creation is to give you pleasure. Lord, what can I do that will give you pleasure? Give me the grace to discern it in my environment, give me the grace to discern it and do it with all my might. Give me the grace to always play my ultimate note in my offering and in my services to you in the name of Jesus.

If you have never given your life to Jesus, you cannot do the work for yourself on the outside except you give your life to Jesus. Pray and say, “Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Write my name in the Book of Life. Give me the grace to be one that is born again, filled with your Spirit and ready to lift up the gates that the King of glory will come in. Amen.”

Scripture Reading: Galatians 6:17

“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”

Divine Covering (Henceforth Let No Man Trouble Me)

I pray that you will have the covering of the Lord Jesus Christ such that henceforth no man will trouble you. Let no officer, no workplace force or system trouble you, for you bear in your body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ. What is this mark? It is the mark on the earnest of the Spirit of God in you. Are you conscious of the presence of the Spirit in you? Then let no man trouble you. In order to be able to say that confidently and have it work for you, you must bear in your body, like Paul, the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit. When you have the Spirit of God, then the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22–23 will manifest in your life.

The fruit of the Spirit manifests love in different ways. Do you have the love of God, “agape” love in you? “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Gal 5:22–24). Therefore, if the Spirit of Christ is in you, then you have the marks of the Lord Jesus in you. If the Spirit of Christ is in you, you need to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For when the Holy Spirit comes into you, He comes in one hand with the fruit and in the other hand with the gifts. Is the fruit of the Holy Spirit manifesting in you? Do you have the gifts of the Holy Spirit manifesting in you? The fruit is one fruit that brings out these dimensions, the gifts are diverse. Do you know your gifts? Are you using them for the glory of God?  If you have the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in you, then you can say truthfully that you bear in your body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ like Paul did. If you are one of these people, say “Henceforth, let no man trouble me for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”

Prayer Points:

Father God, I pray for divine cover. Lord you know where your people are exposed. If the exposure is in the mind, Father, I pray for divine covering of the mind from everything negative that is infiltrating there. Lord, I pray that you cover us and deliver us from everything that is troubling us in the name of Jesus. Lord, you know our adversary the devil is like a roaring lion looking for souls to devour, so now more than ever your people are praying for divine cover. King of kings, hide us in the hollow of your hands. Lord God Almighty, the troubles of the enemy become so much that your children are crying out for you to stop the way of the one who harasses them. The harassment of the enemy is becoming overwhelming, but we are not overwhelmed because we know that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Strengthen us with might by your Spirit in our inner man. Give us the grace to have you dwell in our heart by faith so that we will be rooted and grounded in love and able to comprehend with all the saints the breadth, length, depth, and height of your love for us. We say as Paul said, that henceforth let no man trouble us for we bear on our bodies the marks of the Lord Jesus. Today I ask in Jesus name that henceforth let no sickness trouble your people for they bear the mark of the Lord Jesus Christ and by His stripes we were healed. I pray in the name of Jesus that no man, no sickness, no sorrow, no lack, no tragedy, no system, no oppressor, no witchcraft, no evil machination, no children, no family, nothing should trouble me for I bear on my body the mark of the Lord Jesus Christ.

But if you do not have His Spirit, you are not His own. You can only have His Spirit when you are born again. If you are not born again, say, “Dear Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Write my name in the Book of Life and put your mark on me so that I can also say like Paul, henceforth let no man trouble me for I bear on my body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ. May this be my portion in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 33:3

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Expose My Hidden Blessings

Father God, remember me for good. Reconnect me to my blessings today, in the name of Jesus.

There are many who are blessed with God’s provisions but have no consciousness of it. They are crying for something that is already in their hands; they are fasting and praying for blessings that God has already released. This was the case for the children of Israel in 2 Kings 7:1–10. There was a famine in the land and unaware that God had made provision for them, the children were desperate for food. The Lord, realizing the needs of His people, had already spoken to the Israelites through Elisha, who prophesied that on the next day, the famine would reverse and the price of food would decline. How is it possible for a famine to end in just one day? Indeed this prophecy was true; while the Israelites faced this terrible famine, they were unaware that the Lord had already released food to their neighboring enemies, the Syrians. God raised up four lepers who were not afraid of their enemies and they entered the Syrian camp seeking food. Astonishingly, the men discovered that God had caused the Syrians to hear the thunderous sound of chariots and abandon their camp in fear, leaving an abundance of food. There, in the camp of their enemies, food was waiting for the Israelites!

Fear may be preventing you from recognizing and receiving God’s blessings, but the enemies you fear are in fact afraid. They are not just afraid, but they have also run away because the Lord has caused them to hear a noise. So go and possess. God has begun to give the gift to possess because God is ready for you to receive all that He has released. If you are a child of God, you know God is faithful, responsible, and caring. He is also the God of abundance. Do you think He would put you in lack spiritually, physically, or financially? The reality is that in your ignorance, your blessings are hidden from you; you need God to expose them.

As God exposes, pray that He also covers the areas where you are vulnerable. Many of us have exposed ourselves to our families where we are remote-controlled by them and are hurting. Many are vulnerable because we have exposed ourselves to friends who are really enemies. Still others have been made vulnerable in church! We have no choice but to relate to people, but we must first be vulnerable to God. Just as Laban and Jacob said to one another, “The Lord watch between me and thee” (Gen 31:49), pray that the Lord gives you the understanding and grace to place your relationships under His scrutiny, that we will not take advantage of each other’s vulnerabilities and do one another evil. Only by the superimposition of the cover of the blood of Jesus upon every relationship can there be healing. Call on the Living God to cover your vulnerabilities and expose your hidden blessings, for Jeremiah 33:3 says that we should call upon God and He will show us great and mighty things of which we do not know.

Prayer Points:

Beloved, this is only possible if your life is given to Jesus. So if you are not born again, pray, “Lord Jesus, I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name in the Book of Life and show me my hidden blessings. Let me be one of those filled and led by your Spirit in Jesus’ name.”

Oh Father God, I know that there are blessings due to me because you are a faithful God who never changes. What you say, you will do. I ask that exposure of hidden blessings will become a reality in my life. As I call upon you, Father, show me great and mighty things of which I do not know. As you expose, I pray that you will also cover my vulnerabilities; the sensitive areas of myself that I have exposed to others. Your word says, “Touch not My anointed and do My prophet no harm” (1 Chr 16:22, Ps 105:15). Oh Lord, cover me, in Jesus’ name.

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 10:1–7

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee” (1 Sam 10:6–7).

Anointing to Prophesy

Father God, thank you for the Holy Spirit that is doing good works in our lives. Today I ask that you give us the grace to receive from your Word a revelation that will convert us unto a people that prophesy, proclaim your Word, and manifest the reality of your Word in this generation in the name of Jesus.

“Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his [Saul’s] head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The assess which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the assess, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son? Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Beth-el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine: And they will salute thee and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands. After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy: And the spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee” (1 Samuel 10:1–7).

Saul did not have a perfect heart, a perfect history, or a perfect future, but God took pleasure in him and decided to change his life by anointing him with His Holy Spirit. By this Spirit, Saul manifested God’s presence and began to prophesy with other prophets. There are two dimensions to the word “prophesy.” One is to proclaim the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit, as Saul did, and the other is to tell what will happen in the future. According to this passage, God is calling you to begin to proclaim the Word of God concerning your life. All you need is a Bible and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. For example, look at Psalm 23 and begin to prophesy because the Spirit of God is upon you: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

The Word of God will come alive to you when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you.  The Scriptures will not be something you recite, but something you experience. A lot of the sermons I preach are not premeditated; but rather upon opening the Word, by the mercy of God, the Holy Spirit decodes the Scriptures to me and causes me to prophesy. Many who know me are amazed at what I share, but it is not me it is the power of the Holy Spirit. The beautiful thing is that the Holy Spirit is available to all who are available to Him.

When the anointing of the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you begin to prophesy, you will be transformed. God will give you a new heart to believe His Word and to show forth signs and wonders. The Holy Spirit will direct you concerning the work you are doing for God. It is your duty to follow obediently, for the Bible says that when the Holy Spirit engulfs, do as the occasion serves you because God is with you (1 Sam 10:7).

Prayer Points:

Is the Holy Spirit upon you? You can only receive the anointing after you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Confess and forsake your sins, then come to Jesus and say, “Dear Lord Jesus, write my name in the Book of Life. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Forgive my sins and bless me with your Holy Spirit.” He has said whosoever cometh to Him, He will not refuse. No matter your history, God is able to cause salvation to abound unto you. God will pour into your life the anointing of the Holy Spirit that you change into a new person and begin to prophesy.

Living God, I pray that the Spirit of the Lord will come upon us that we will begin to prophesy; that we will have a new heart and be transformed into a new man, doing and saying things that will amaze even ourselves. I pray we will have the boldness and obedience to do as the occasion serves us because God is with us. Be magnified today in Jesus’ name.

April 21

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 60:1

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”

Arise, Shine

Father God, we thank you for the glory of your presence. We pray that your glory will fill our lives today and ask for the grace to embrace and radiate it in Jesus’ name.

God says, “Rise up!” Just as Bartimaeus the blind beggar arose in faith and approached Jesus (Mark 10:49–50), Jesus is calling you to arise from the dumps and shine forth. Like an artist whose turn on the stage has finally come, it is your turn in the spotlight. This spotlight is not one manufactured by technology or controlled by human hands; it is the spotlight of the glory of God given to you by God’s discretion. This glory is indescribable light with unlimited wattage meant to shine brighter and brighter. Beloved, you must go from glory to glory. Do your best now. In fact, by the power of the Holy Spirit, do better than your best, because this glory is from God whose ability far surpasses ours; even His weakness is stronger than our greatest strength (1 Cor 1:25).

Let every shade that obstructs the light of God from shining forth be removed. Let everything that holds you down release you. Today, you will shine to your utmost. In Psalm 4, David, when he perceived that there was a shade covering his glory, called on God: “Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity and seek after leasing? Selah. But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: The Lord will hear when I call unto Him. Stand in awe and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down and in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.”

David asks, “How long will ye turn my glory into shame?” Is there any circumstance, anybody, any principality, or any power that is attempting to defile the glory of God in you? Separate yourself and walk in righteousness. Remove that shade covering your glory. Oh ye sons of men who aim to turn the glory of the child of God into shame, your time is over! I explode the bomb of the blood of Jesus upon you in the name of Jesus. Beloved, I decree a divine light upon you now. According to the Word of the Living God, arise and shine for your light is come, and the glory of the Living God is risen upon you.

Prayer Points:

Oh Father God, in every way sons of men are trying to turn our glory into shame. By the power of the Holy Spirit, move and remove every shade covering your glory in our lives.  In your mercy, help us to arise, and shine.

Beloved, you can only shine when the power of God through the Holy Spirit is in you. If you do not have the power of the Holy Spirit operating in you, accept Jesus of Nazareth as your Savior and receive the Holy Spirit. Pray,

“Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name is the Book of Life and make me one of your children. Give me the born-again Spirit and grant me His power so that I will arise and shine for my light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me.

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 9:13–14

For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Attributes of the Blood

Father God, we thank you for the blood of Jesus. I pray that we will view and treat the blood of God as you do: precious, innocent, necessary, and sufficient for all situations—the final payment for all sins. Oh God cleanse us with the power of the blood of Jesus.

Are you feeling guilty? Dirty? Psalm 24:4 says that those with righteous deeds and a pure conscience can enter into God’s holy presence. None of us can boldly stand before God with that testimony except that we have been washed with the blood of Jesus. This blood is the essence of the Christian life. It atones for the sin that disqualifies you; by the blood, you now qualify for a relationship with God.

1. The blood of Jesus is innocent (Matt 27:4)

The blood of Jesus is innocent, pure—If you want purity in your life, you must apply the purity of Christ’s blood. Its innocence converts all your guilt to innocence. I pray that you will accept Jesus and that the innocence of Jesus’ blood will proclaim you innocent in His name. May the innocence of the blood bring about our innocence to reality as we agree with God’s Word.

2. The blood of Jesus is precious (John 3:16)

It is the blood of the Son of the Living God. Imagine how invaluable your family is to you and magnify that value infinity-fold. You have been with your family a set number of years; God and Jesus have coexisted in perfect union in eternity past.

3. The blood of Jesus is necessary and sufficient (Heb 9:13–14)

It is necessary because it reconciles us to God. It is sufficient for every situation because there is nothing the blood of Jesus cannot avail for you. It is enough that Jesus died for us. Respond to every situation with the blood and know that it is sufficient to meet your needs and bring your deliverance in Jesus’ name.

4. The blood of Jesus is final (John 19:30)

It has the power to conclude a challenge, the power to heal, and the power to deliver. The blood of Jesus is able to do all things and bring them to a perpetual end.

5. The blood of Jesus is cleansing (John 1:7)

Wash your hands in the blood of Jesus. Flee from that which is oppressing you, oh prisoner of sin, in Jesus’ name. Let the blood of Jesus represent purity to you in every area where you are feeling defiled.

6. The blood of Jesus has conquering power (Rev 12:11)

It is able to come into every situation, every battle like an explosive to bring about victory, total and permanent victory, for you in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, do you need reconciliation? The blood of Jesus will make this a reality for you. Do you need redemption? The blood of Jesus will redeem you. Do you need justification? The blood of Jesus will justify you, declaring you innocent. Do you need sanctification? The blood of Jesus will sanctify, or cleanse, you. Do you need communion? The blood of Jesus will bring communion with the Lord God Almighty into your life. Do you need victory? The blood of Jesus will bring victory into your life. Do you need eternal life? The blood of Jesus will give you eternal life.

Prayer Points:

If you have never given your life to Jesus, know that you cannot have eternal life without doing so. Pray along with me, “Oh Father God Almighty, I come to you covered with the blood of Jesus and ask that you accept me as your child. Write my name in the Book of Life and let the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus cleanse me from all my sins. Give me the grace to live a holy life with the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Oh Father God, let the conquering power of the blood of Jesus bring about victory for goodness, for righteousness in every nation. Let the conquering power manifest itself in the visible and invisible battles of your children. We thank you for the reality of the power of the blood, for the innocent, precious, necessary, sufficient, final, cleansing, and conquering blood of Jesus. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Revelation 19:7–9

“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, there are the true sayings of God.”

Attributes of the Bride

Father God, thank you for the privilege of eternal life with you and for showing us your enduring love. In your mercy, help us to appreciate your love and give each one of us the desire to live as the bride of Christ Jesus.

Do you look forward to being called to that marriage supper? Do you find yourself grinning uncontrollably as you ponder being united with Christ? We need to shift from our convenient relationship with Him and upgrade in Spirit and in truth. It is time to stop being merely Christ’s girlfriend, and behave like the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ is indeed the body of Christ worldwide, the body of believers committed to Jesus Christ. And the marriage supper of the Lamb is only available to this bride.

Four essential characteristics of Christ’s bride distinguish her from others: labor, endurance, intolerance of evil, and examination of leadership. We must understand these attributes so that we can discover the aspects of ourselves that need improvement, and also so that we can seek to change our lives to the glory of God.

1. Labor

The bride of Christ, according to Revelation 2 and 3, labors tirelessly for Christ. She has no other agenda than to serve her permanent husband, the Lord Jesus Christ, the bridegroom of the Church. Nothing else will satisfy. Beloved, what brings you utmost satisfaction?

2. Endurance

The bride of Christ is patient as she labors. Some people labor but give up after a while. The bride endures because she knows that her husband’s Kingdom is at stake. She faces tribulation and even poverty without complaining because she is rich in Christ Jesus. She does not deny the faith, and with charity and industry is wholeheartedly committed to Jesus. Has the fire that you had upon receiving salvation gone, leaving you trudging to, taking unnecessary breaks from, and complaining about your work for Christ? Have you become lazy or unmotivated when it comes to serving Jesus?

3. Intolerance of Evil

The bride of Christ cannot bear the presence of evil; she cannot condone an evil system because it is contrary to her nature as Christ’s bride. Are you comfortable in an evil environment? Ask yourself why. May God give you divine discomfort around everything that is evil.

4. Examination of Leadership

The bride of Christ tries those in leadership to determine if they are genuine. If the teaching does not comply with the Word of God, the authority of her husband Jesus, she rejects it no matter who the leader. Are you submitting to leadership simply because of the person’s title?

It is time to truly appreciate God’s love by upgrading from a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship to a committed one in which Christ is the husband and you are the bride.

Prayer Points:

You cannot be married to the Lord Jesus Christ unless you first accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. If you have never given your life to Him, pray along with me, “Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you today to surrender my life to you as my Lord and Savior. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name in the Book of Life and make me a bride of Christ in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Dear Lord, in these end times, you are looking for your bride. Pour out your blessings on us so that the attributes and glory of the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ can be manifest in our lives form this day on in Jesus’ name. Deliver us from all that make us ineffective for you and grant us the ministerial anointing to serve you in this generation. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 96

“Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day” (Ps 96:2).

Bless His Name

Father God Almighty, I will never forget what you have done for me. I thank you for your mercies, your faithfulness, your love and your goodness. Lord God, I praise you.  You are an awesome God, the King of kings and Lord of lords, yet you still remember me. You truly are my covenant Father, my Everlasting Father.

“O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth” (Ps 96).

I encourage you today to resolve to sing a new song unto God. Bless His name in a unique way. Only you can bless Him like this because no one else knows Him the way you do. Recall the times God manifested His names to you.

1. Jehovah (Exod 6:3–4)

God is your covenant father. The blood of His Son Jesus sealed the covenant: God will forgive us of all our sins and give us eternal life. Because of this sacrifice, you can call Him Father. And not just Father, but also Jehovah, your Father by covenant. Bless His name, because Jehovah God kept His promise by sending Jesus. Can you remember all the promises God has made to you? He will continue to keep His promises.

2. Jehovah Shammah (Ezek 48:35)

God is always present with you. He is the one who assured you that He would never forsake or leave you; that He would be with you even until the end of the earth.

3. Jehovah Shalom (Judg 6:24)

He is the God of your peace. He is the one who calms the storms of your life and showers you with peace that passes all understanding. He is the one who brought you through yesterday’s challenges to where you are today.

4. Jehovah Rophi (Exod 15: 26)

God is your healer. Thank you God for all the ways you have healed and will continue to heal.

5. Jehovah Ro’i (Ps 23:1)

He is your shepherd who leads you by His voice. He makes you to lie down in green pastures, satisfied. He prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. His rod and staff comfort you. His goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life so you can dwell in His house forever.

6. Jehovah Nissi (Exod 17:15)

He is the God of your victory. Bless Jehovah Nissi for all the victories He has won for you; for all the battles He has fought in your stead when you lacked the strength or know-how to fight.

7. El Shaddai (Gen 17:1)

Truly God is the all-sufficient one. He is sufficient for all your needs, for there is nothing He cannot do. With Him the impossible is possible. Remember how He made a way for you when there seemed to be no way? Call Him your El Shaddai.

Prayer Points:

Oh Father, thank you for being our covenant father. Hear the prayers of your children today. To those who need a father, be their Jehovah. To those who need peace, be their Jehovah Shalom. To those who need healing, be their Jehovah Rophi. To those who need direction, be their Jehovah Ro’i. To those who need victory, be their Jehovah Nissi. God, we bless your name today. We thank you for all you have done and we pray for the grace to reverence you and to appreciate your many names. Manifest your names in our lives so we can sing to you a new song, in Jesus’ name.

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 4:21–36

“And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed. He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the Lord. And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm. Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes” (2 Kgs 4:32–35).

Blessed Recovery

Father God, thank you for the power of resurrection and restoration. Let our lives praise you, Oh Lord.

“And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. So she went and came unto the man of God to Mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well: And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the Lord hath hid it from me, and hath not told me. Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me? Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child. And the mother of the child said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her. And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked” (2 Kgs 4:21–31).

This passage speaks about the supernatural. This woman’s child died and she did what only a woman filled with the Spirit of God could do: she believed God could help. She ran to Elisha, and with his anointing, he performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation (2 Kgs 4:34). You see, mouth-to-mouth is not a scientific innovation. However, this procedure is only successful at reviving life fifteen minutes after one stops breathing. The son had been dead for many hours, yet Elisha resuscitated him: “And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son” (2 Kgs 4:36). This is the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. There are many who need spiritual resuscitation. They are cold and need the warmth of the fire of the Holy Spirit. If this is your cry, I pray that you will embrace the Holy Spirit now and get the revival that you need.

Acts also recounts a miraculous resurrection. While Paul was preaching an extremely long sermon, a listener drifted to sleep, fell down, and upon falling, died. Paul raised him from the dead and soon the two were dining together, enjoying each other’s company (Acts 20:9–11). The power of the Holy Spirit brought someone back to life. Beloved, if you need a divine resuscitation, embrace the Holy Spirit now. Pray these Scriptures for whatever challenge you face. Pray that the supernatural with be your portion.

Prayer Points:

Lord, let the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit that brought our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead work again. Let that power resurrect all that the enemy has killed in my life. I pray for a resurrection of the supernatural in my life, Oh Lord, to the glory of God.

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 28:1–15

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:  And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God” (Deut 28:1–2).

Blessings of Deuteronomy

Father God, in the name of Jesus we pray that you grant us the grace to wax greater and greater. Only you can bring to reality the greatness that you have destined for us.

If we hearken unto the voice of the Lord, He will bless us in every way. “Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways” (Deut 28:3–7).

All these blessings will overtake you when you are in Jesus. The only condition is that you believe and obey the Word of God. If you do not have a Bible, get one and read it every day in order to grow. Pray the Scriptures, because this brings God’s Word to Him, and it unlocks His teachings and blessings.

Prayer Points:

Let us pray the Scriptures according to Deuteronomy 28:7–15. I pray that God will cause the enemies that rise up against you to be smitten before your face; that they will come out against you one way and flee before you in seven directions. I pray that the Lord will command blessings upon you in your storehouses, in all that you set your hands to, and that He will bless you in the land the Lord gives you. May the Lord establish you to be holy unto Himself, as He has sworn unto you if you will keep His commandments. May God give you the grace to keep His commandments and to work according to His ways. I pray that the Lord make you plenteous in goods and in the fruit of your body. May He open unto you His good treasure, the heaven to give rain in His season and to bless all the works of your hand so that you will lend unto many nations and not borrow. I pray that the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; that you will be above only and never beneath. If you hearken unto the commandments of the Lord your God and observe them, without straying to the right or to the left, these blessings will overtake you and you will be blessed indeed.

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have no access to such blessings. You cannot approach God in prayer. You cannot receive forgiveness when you fail to follow God’s commandments because you are not clothed in the righteousness of Christ. Pray with me now,

“Lord Jesus, I am a sinner that needs forgiveness. I surrender my life to you and turn away from my sinful ways. Write my name in the Book of Life and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Give me the grace to wax greater and greater.”

Scripture Reading: Amos 5:4

“For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.”

Blessings of Seekers

Oh Lord Jesus, your name is above every other name. Let the life that is in the name of Jesus eliminate every fear of death and the oppression of the enemy in our lives. Give us the grace to seek you so that we may live and survive these difficult times in Jesus’ name.

What is life? Life is the absence of death. There are many people who are alive today, but without Jesus, this is not life. Physical life has an end; everyone dies. But spiritual life is valid because it is the Spirit of God that gives everlasting life. I pray that the Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead will dwell in you and quicken your mortal body that you may truly live.

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:4–5).

If you are alive in Christ, every ordination of death has been canceled. Unfortunately, many still fear death, and therefore operate under the oppression of the enemy. But the Word of God says, in Jesus was life. Only someone with eternal life can be called the beginning and the end. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega; the Lion of the tribe of Judah; the Bright and Morning Star; the King of kings; the Lord of lords; the Ancient of Days; the Rose of Sharon; the Lily of the Valley; the I Am that I Am; the Mighty One; the Savior of our souls; and our Redeemer. He is alive and well, seated at the right hand of our Father Almighty making intercession for us. Certainly, if your life is in Jesus, there is no reason to fear death.

In addition to life, Jesus also possessed light. This light came from a source greater than power generators. This light comes from the glory of God. It shines in darkness though darkness can never comprehend it. Oh how we need that light. Beloved, if you yearn for the life and light of Jesus, seek him. The Lord says, “Seek ye me, and ye shall live” (Amos 5:4). When you seek God in the name of Jesus, you will stay alive and survive these evil days. When you seek Jesus, you will be filled with the power and presence of the Holy Spirit that gives life. Enter into that secret place where the Lord dwells and declare your love to Him today. When you resolve to live to declare the works of God, you have decided to embrace Jesus who has life and light. The Lord will make His blessings available to you when you seek Him.

“But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them” (Deut 11:11–16).

Beloved, seek Him and walk into the realm of abundance, peace, and prosperity. Seek the Lord and live, brethren; live in spiritual, physical, emotional, circumstantial, and financial prosperity.

Prayer Points:

If you have never given your life to Jesus, seek the Lord by praying, “Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name in the Book of Life. Give me the grace to daily seek you, dwell in your secret place, work with you, and worship you in spirit and truth. Oh Lord, bless me with all that you promise in Deuteronomy 11 as I walk into this land of seeking you daily.”

Oh Holy Father, I pray that in your mercy, you deliver us from the comas of this time. Give us the grace to seek you and live. Give us a new light, the light of your glory that shines in darkness but is not understood by darkness. We pray this in the name of Jesus, the name that is above every name. Amen.

Scripture Reading: Numbers 17:1–10

“And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel . . . ” (Num 17:5).

Blooming Rod

Father God, your way is above ours. Our way is natural, while yours is supernatural because it is superior to the natural. Our way is ordinary; yours is extraordinary. We ask that you have your way in our lives.

Are you one of the many Christian leaders dedicated to serving God who find that people, even those involved in your ministry, are complaining about your leadership? Have they left you wondering, “Did God truly call me? Why am I rejected by the ones I serve?” Perhaps you desire to work for God, but people around you, including your family, are saying, “What will you eat? How will you get money to live?” Beloved, the fact that you are reading this is not a coincidence; it is a God-incidence. God is saying, “Come and lay your ministry of leadership, your rod, on my altar and I will cause your ministry to bloom.”

“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod. And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers. And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you. And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you. And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. And Moses laid up the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness. And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. And Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod. And the Lord said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not” (Num 17:1–10).

In this passage, Moses and Aaron were leading the Israelites, but those same Israelites were murmuring against them, causing divisions among the people. The Lord got tired of seeing His ministers go through such stress, so He instructed each tribe of Israel to lay a rod at His altar. The rod that He caused to blossom overnight would indicate whom the Lord had chosen as Israel’s leader. Beloved, are you determined in your heart to work for God’s ministry, but are being distracted by the murmurings of those people who are familiar with you? Do not be discouraged; the God of the supernatural can turn things around overnight. Just as God caused the rod of Aaron to blossom and bring forth almonds, God can cause your rod, your ministry of leadership, to be fruitful. This fruitfulness is the antidote for murmuring, rejection, distractions, and complaints. When distracters see your ministry flourish, they will fall silent and know that God has indeed called you. If you desire to work for God and know that He has called you, go all out for Him. Surrender your ministry to Him in prayer; lay your rod on His altar. Pray the Numbers passage and ask that He make your call known. God who causes the rod of His call to bloom will cause your rod to bloom. Your ministry will flourish. Our God is a God of the supernatural. Work for Him in holiness, in righteousness with a pure heart all the days of your life and you will experience fruitfulness.

Prayer Points:

Heavenly Father, you are faithful; you are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Eternal Rock of Ages, today in this generation we pray for a blossoming rod. Cause the rod of your chosen leaders to bloom. Cause our ministries to bring forth fruit, to silence those who murmur, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

April 29

Scripture Reading: Psalm 51

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions” (Ps 51:1).

Blot Out My Transgressions

Father God, we plead the blood of Jesus against any attack of the enemy. We love you and want to stay under the cover of the blood. Place us there, Oh Lord; keep us there, protect us there, perfect us there, promote us there.

Beloved, if we look at ourselves in the mirror, we find that we are lacking in many areas. If we are not lacking in prayer, we lack in reading the Word. If we are not lacking in reading the Word, then we lack in worship. If not worship, then it is the way we treat others that needs improvement. We are indeed sinners in need of God’s mercy. There is no one without sin, no one without a flaw. We need divine cleansing from all the filthiness of the flesh and the sin that so easily besets us. Let us pray along with David, meaning it also for ourselves:

“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar” (Ps 51).

David knew that his sin had disconnected him from God; sin had caused his bones to be broken. So he prayed. Many, like David, have become disconnected from God because of sin, but they are continuing in their own way, convinced that they are fine because they are born again. These people are not fine, because they have lost their first love. Their heart is no longer completely devoted to God. They have even lost their joy.

Prayer Points:

Father, I pray for a divine reconnection in Jesus’ name. In your mercy, take us back to when we first believed in Jesus, to that place of pure love. Reconnect us so we can rejoice again. Give us the grace to acknowledge our transgressions and be truthful to you. Have mercy upon us and purge everything that is endangering our spiritual health, Oh Lord. Even as you purge, Father God Almighty, clean our hearts. Wash us in the blood of Jesus and we shall be whiter than snow. Hide your face from our sins and blot out our iniquities. Renew a right spirit within us. Cast us not from your presence. Lord, there is no place to go; we cannot live without you. Lord God Almighty, full of lovingkindness and tender mercies, blot out our transgressions. Take not your Holy Spirit from us, but restore unto us your salvation, your joy, and your divine fellowship with us. Amen.

April 30

Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 30:8–17

For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him” (Jer 30:8).

Breaking the Yoke

Father God, we pray in the name of Jesus that you do a work of restoration in our lives. You are our stronghold; take us back to the place where our trust in you was total, where the challenges of this world did not distract us.

Accidentally cutting your skin with a cooking knife can be scary if the cut is deep. But the doctor can treat you accordingly upon seeing the wound. What do you do, however, when your wound is invisible and no diagnostic tests can indicate any specific injury? Without a diagnosis, it is only logical to throw the prospect of a medical cure out the window. Yet human logic becomes unreliable when pain is overwhelming. This is the time to call on the Great Physician, because His reasoning surpasses our logic. You may not be able to describe the symptoms precisely, but the Great Physician does not depend on our description. He has already seen the wound, formed an accurate diagnosis, and written a prescription that only He can fill. The wound may be in your body, soul, or spirit: a wound of your heart, of betrayal, loneliness, or disappointment; or a wound of lack. Our Great Physician Jesus is the only one who can heal your invisible wounds. He says today, “Believe my Word; I will break this yoke from off your neck.”

“For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased. Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after” (Jer 30:8–17).

Prayer Points:

Let us pray according to the Word of God in Jeremiah. Oh gracious Living God, let today be the day you break the enemy’s yoke off our necks. I pray today that you will heal all who are sick in the body, soul, and spirit. Heal our wounds and restore health unto us. Remove the shackles that bind us and let strangers no longer use us as their slaves. Your Word says that you will devour those who devour us. Father God, rebuke the devourer that has been working in the lives of your children and bring an end to all our oppression and affliction in Jesus’ name. Give us the grace not to be dismayed, for you reign from your victorious throne in heaven. Save us from afar, save our seed, and also all who are in the land of captivity. Oh Lord only you can see everything. You know what havoc the enemy is working in the lives of your children. Save us from the reins of the enemy. Let our seed be free from the traps of this age. Your children are being called outcasts, forsaken people, so we come unto you, our strong tower, our stronghold. Let your Word work in our lives, Oh Lord, as you fulfill your promises of deliverance.

If you have not received Christ into your heart, this God of the Bible who fulfills all His promises cannot be your stronghold. Be born again and pray,

“Dear Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. I confess and forsake my sins. Cleanse me from my sins with your blood. Write my name in the Book of Life. Deliver me from all that oppresses me, in Jesus’ name.”
